This terrible story out of Colorado is so strange. In a family with 8 children, 2 are killed along with spouse. Does not follow the typical family murder/suicide (thankfully he did not harm his adult children) but two special needs children were killed.

I hope the remaining children can be cared for and certainly get help with this trauma.

Investigators say Christof Kreb, 55, killed his family. The victims are identified as Yvette Siegert-Kreb, 50, Felicity Kreb, 13, and Barrett Kreb, 9. Christof was also found dead, investigators say.

That is strange. We’re the two killed the youngest? The only ones still at home?

Father killed wife, 2 children in murder-suicide, El Paso County sheriff says

This article has more on the family, 3 biological children (one with dwarfism) and 5 adopted children - mother was advocate for adopting children with dwarfism after having a child with same condition. I know the 2 oldest are quoted in other articles. I haven't seen one with a full accounting of the children and their ages. Also was mentioned that a child made the 911 call, so presumably another one that was spared but living at home? I hope they have good support from extended family.
