CO - Possible Serial Shooter Has Colorado Drivers on Edge #3

re:

Appears to be an older style shotgun, margarita25.

The stock is very thin, doesn't look like wood. Zooming in and varying the brightness and contrast on two of the perps as they're fleeing, the one with the big yellow logo, besides being pretty lanky like the other two, seems to me to run like a soccer player. The one who has the empty bag all filled up, well, it looks like an athletic bad. It's interesting that they ran on foot, and so near I 25. One of the speculative scenarios that seemed somewhat feasible was that the shatterings were done by young thrill seekers, who also used public transport as part of getting away, which could mean a long gun that could be taken apart? I'll try to post the images but I lost the last set so have to start again, and I'm not sure I can post them up. Let me know if you think it's worth doing again. The bag, the long gun and logo zooms seemed interesting.

Sketch is especially a beaut, Foxfire, thank you. Looks like it wasn't Chanel, after all. Face looks lop-sided, a stroke or just stressed, or a bad nose job, possible, has big ears, and is a tad metro. Seems like he knew his next move, not drugged, prepared, so could the strange eyes be contacts or some belladonna type thing or scared? It's tempting to do a Montjoy resemblance montage from here:

Following the map, linked to the report above, what kind of suspect escapes toward an airport?

Right, couldn't have been Chanel,

so I searched for images of maroon 99, then 98 Pathfinders, and some rabbit hats came up, but I chose this link to avoid them.

https://media.ed.edmunds-media.com/...nissan_pathfinder_4dr-suv_se_fq_oem_1_500.jpg

About this Pathfinder....Let's bear in mind that the picture we are seeing looks all sparkly, shiny and showroom new. In my happy little head, the vehicle is not washed and waxed with beautiful shiny rims on new tires. I envision more of a rough Pathfinder with paint that has faded from years of being exposed to the weather. Perhaps it is a bit dirty or dusty, too.

After all of these incidences, is anyone else surprised that the governor, John Wright Hickenlooper, Jr., has not formed a special task force to investigate these shootings and shatterings? I took it upon myself to place a phone call to the Office of Constituent Services; whereby, I left a voicemail seeking a return phone call for an explanation on a plan of action.

https://www.colorado.gov/pacific/governor/office-constituent-services

From the governor's website page, he mentions his favorite quote that makes me feel that he is a man concerned about the well-being of the citizens he represents.

John’s favorite quote is from Abraham Lincoln: “With public sentiment, nothing can fail. Without it, nothing can succeed.”

You'd have to have gone back pretty far in the NoCO thread to have noticed their presence - they are men of few words - but a Task Force was set up in late May, after the Jacoby killing . Here's what I have on it from the Law Enforcement layer of the map:

The North Colorado Task Force has been established to investigate the shootings. It includes: > Larimer County Sheriff’s Department, > Federal Bureau of Investigation, > Windsor Police Department, > Weld County Sheriff’s Office, > Larimer County District Attorney’s Office, > Weld County District Attorney’s Office, > Loveland Police Dept. It was released that other agencies are working alongside the force, but those departments would not be publicly identified. http://www.denverpost.com/breakingnews/ci_28340505/task-force-issues-letter |||| Press Contact: [email protected] Phone: 970-980-2501 |||| Windsor PD (see adjacent map marker for more) initially hosted the task force offices, but they have since been moved to an undisclosed location . |||| Per Phil Tenser, TheDenverChannel.com Team 6/4/15: http://www.thedenverchannel.com/new...cted-to-two-other-northern-colorado-shootings. |||| Larimer County homicide investigator Robert Coleman has been named the task force commander, per Jason Pohl, The Coloradoan 6/6/15, 2015http://www.coloradoan.com/story/news/2015/06/06/fort-collins-police-weigh-northern-colorado-shootings/28632571/

Boulder County home-invasion suspect fatally shot after 2nd high-speed chase
Driver killed 12 hours after Sunshine Canyon robbery

By Alex Burness and Mitchell Byars, Staff Writers, Boulder Daily Camera

With more details of how it started and ended:

"Around 9 p.m., Longmont police began following a vehicle matching the Suburban's description, initially down I-25. As of press time, it was not clear who had spotted the car, or when.

A second chase ensued, and around 9:30 p.m., the suspect vehicle struck another vehicle — officials had not confirmed whether that car belonged to police or to a civilian — and, radio traffic indicated, was eventually driving with at least one flat tire.

Multiple agencies responded to the second chase, and, by 9:45 p.m., the suspect was confirmed to have been shot and killed."

Hopefully this doesn't blow the margins, testing:

Does this look similar to anyone else? He's not fond of LE. Assuming he whitened his hair and changed what he could, but that patch of whitish hair by his right temple looks very similar, besides his features. Thanks for the sketch, magz.

Good work, FindHG. He looks virtually identical to the sketch and absolutely fits the profile.

Oh, glad you think so. Thank you, it seems to be. LE will make sense of it, hopefully.

*Respectfully removed the attachment of the map for space.*

Great news.

It is great news. From the kktv link:

"That car was eventually pulled over at an apartment complex near Murray and Platte. Five people in the car were taken into custody so police could interview them. At least one of them was arrested."

What are your thoughts on these five people being the culprit(s) of other shootings?

What type vehicle were they driving? Were all five men? Can anyone find the arrest record of the driver who was arrested so we can at least have a name and possibly a mug shot. (I'm operating under time constraints att.) Thank you, in advance.

And, Ooh rah! Thank you soldiers and all veterans! We salute the USA military. :soldier: :soldier: :soldier: :soldier: :soldier: :soldier:

Not sure what to make of it, going back to the map, and it's various layers, could be a trend with multiple shooters, but who shot at Cory and killed a granddad, Mr. Connole and a nice easy going guy, Mr. Jacoby?

https://www.google.com/maps/d/edit?mid=z_XRj_yu3Dto.kzPJOvnNDQio

It seems just as possible as other potential shooter caught or seen on security videos or by wtinesses, which may be why LE highlights the search for shell casings.

This is the link to the FBI wanted poster seeking information about the shooting of John Jacoby in Windsor...it states that his shooting is related to the shooting of Cory Romero on an entrance ramp of I-25...those are the only two cases that have been linked...it doesn't even mention the Task Force except it was the Task Force that announced the reward increase to $50K in September...that poster also speaks of a white SUV that was seen in the area about the same time as the Jacoby shooting that LE wanted to speak with and the task force later scolded the public for assuming it was suspect in the murder...that was after the murder of William Connole in Loveland...they haven't officially said Connole's murder is related to the other two shootings but that same night someone else was shot at in Loveland from an old beat up pickup truck orange with black primer spots...

Before and after these events all sorts of glass was myteriously shattering on or around I-25...rear windows, side windows, windshields, sunroofs...no murders on the highway yet but ... That could just be a matter of time or it could be attributed to using a different kind of ammunition like frangibles or a different kind of weapon like a stealth drone (my latest theory that I have yet to convince anyone)...

As far as these five guys getting caught last night my first thoughts are no it's too far away to be related to NOCO ... but there is a large military presence in Colorado Springs and if it's terrorism ... Well Sadly, It would explain a lot...

Big Thankyou for your service Veterans!

Well said, searchinGirl. And thanks for the news and the great catch. The same questions keep cycling, for me too. If it's terrorism, what's the play? If it's a number of shooters, what's driving it? In both those cases, why here and why for this length of time? Could it be a training ground or just perps committed to the area, to that highway and the roads off of it. Is it a proving ground of sorts for people competing directly or indirectly? Seems with that last set of guys caught, more may be known, or we'll have more questions, if it continues.

I agree pappa rob... 'A person with outstanding warrants, driving a stolen vehicle, with stolen plates, caught doing drive by shootings of unsuspecting innocent victims is a menace to society and absolutely should not be bonded out. WTH was the judge thinking?

Until more is known... Adolfo has a story to tell, probably, something other than pistol whipping a guy for pot in his home, leading dangerous armed car chases and ending up dead?

See post 916. A couple weeks ago there was a guy, David Moscow, who was arrested on major weapons charges, etc and threatening to burn down a local college building (FRCC, coincidentally I have wondered if our shooter (s) could be enrolled there). Anyway, he was let out on bond, only to be arrested again a few days later for violating one of his conditions: going by the college he threatened to burn down only days earlier! Iirc, his ankle bracelet tracked those movements via gps.
