"Nearly a year after a series of fatal shootings rocked Northern Colorado, the task force tasked with investigating the shootings admitted at a Tuesday press conference that the mystery is still very much a mystery.

The investigation has not produced a suspect or suspects, prompting a plea for the public's help.

The news conference at the Budweiser Events Center in Loveland marked the first time the Northern Colorado Shooting Task Force addressed the public since last summer. The task force unveiled visuals, including new surveillance video, but produced little new information regarding the cases. The task force refused to divulge the weapons used or distances from which the victims were shot."

"Among other takeaways from Tuesday's briefing:

Task force has received 5,100 tips
Task force has conducted 1,000 interviews
Task force has investigated and eliminated 12 people of interest
Task force processed more than 340,000 telephone numbers*to find commonality based on dates. Those numbers were obtained by court order.
Task force said surveillance video revealed a 2002-2007 black over red two-door Mini-Cooper as a*vehicle of interest in Banner Health facility on Sept. 13. Windows were targeted in that shooting in which people were inside the facility."

did you see black marks on the truck in the video?..

I haven't watched/processed any of this information yet, just trying to get it up on the thread here for everyone so we can analyze and reference everything and have it all here internally...I have to run out in a sec unfortunately but will be back to really take a look at everything asap. The stupid sound on the periscope conference was out so I missed most of it (always seems to be problems with those periscope PCs). Anyway, I want to watch the whole presser still, and look at all the surveillance they released asap! Also want to find/make a full transcription of the PC. Can't wait to see everyone's feedback.

WC died of a shotgun blast at close range it possibly sounds like? :(

Here's a still from the video. The only markings I'm seeing is from the wheel well up onto the fender/ hood. I'm thinking that may just be a shadow from the pole?

I found several YouTube videos of people doing it. Idk how the heck you could aim and shoot a shotgun, single handed, from a moving vehicle, and actually hit the target! The truck does appear to be going at a slow speed but still.

I can't really see what they say we should be looking for...and I'm surprised the color of the truck is orange...they must mean rust holes which would probably be more visible looking up at it?...

Yes, depending on the gauge of the shotgun and the type shells used. For instance, a 4" magnum shotgun shell would have too much of a kick/recoil to fire with only one hand..

It's also relatively easy to lower the load of gunpowder in a shotgun shell, and thus decrease it's recoil.

So we now add a shotgun to the case's existing armory:
Romero - unknown gun type firing some sort of bullet
Jacoby - ditto
I-25 shatterings - speculated to be a highpowered BB/pellet gun, or a rifle firing frangible bullets. (Apparently not conventional bullets.)
Building window shatterings - a rifle, shooting bullets. Some suspect a fully automatic rifle, based on the shot patterns.

A damned difficult shot, I agree, suggesting someone with experience at shooting straight and at staying focused in action. (I don't think I could talk straight if I were trying to do something like that.) Do we have confirmation that the attacker(s) truck was moving when the Cannole or unknown biker shots were taken?

as I recall (and I didn't get to watch the whole thing)...that was something he specifically couldn't confirm...most of the questions I heard he couldn't confirm...
