I learned during Jessica Ridgeway's abduction, murder and manhunt, that whenever Law Enforcement uses the words "Stay Vigilant", it is not a good sign, or rather a reflection of the serious nature of a specific threat at hand:

IMO from the most recent Task Force PC, LE does believe that there is a danger to the community.
(Of course there is always a danger to any community, anything can happen, but ykwim, specifically as related to "these cases".)

Margarita, you mentioned earlier that the driver of the truck looks tall. Is that his arm resting outside of the window? He looks tall to me as well and I think that's why.

I wish I had more time to read and comment - But I do live in FoCo, southeast FoCo, and I keep an eye out.

Why is there talk that the perp could be in Wyoming, do you know? Maybe someone who commutes from Cheyenne?

I also get the feeling that this is more than one person.

Although a psychological behavioral profile of the unknown suspect/s is only one investigative tool of many. It would be very helpful, if one has been prepared, for it to be released to the public, imo.

Imo, the two September 2015 shootings, on the same day, are unrelated to those prior to July 2015. jmo

Re: the mention of Wyoming, I'm not sure why that was mentioned other than strictly the aspect of the proximity/geographical convenience; I have not seen LE specifically mention Wyoming in any PCs or articles that I remember. I do remember upstream though very early on we did find reference to an incident up there. Wyoming is definitely on the table imo, as far as the perp(s) possibly living or working there; I remember in Nate Tallman's case, his body was dumped right over the border there.

One thing I'm noticing from the recent releases from LE are what appears to be these circular/looping patterns, Banner Health surveillance, coming back around to travel in the opposite direction on the same road, double backing so to speak...interesting... and also Connolle (the neighborhood loop, iirc, need to go back and look at that one).

Is he wearing a white/light colored long sleeve shirt?
Is the back window open in the middle? If so, one could be driving, and the passenger pointing a shotgun out the rear window, if not through a side window. Interesting that you guys found this can be done by a single person driving as well.

I was thinking the same thing, FF, about a profile; in fact that was my first question I posted prior to the presser that I wanted to see them address.

Interesting that you think the September shootings are unrelated. They are different aren't they, firing into a building, and iirc an automatic. However, the proxiiiiimity is what troubles me. I remember I wondered if this was some type of taunting or message to LE. I also don't recall hearing at the time that one building was occupied. A mini cooper, odd vehicle for a crime like this it seems, not sure why. Cmon, how many 2 door black top red mini coopers can there be out there, and specifically in the area....anyone? I know I've got a couple in my neighbrood (red mini coopers, not sure if they are 2 door or black top but will look... I'm becoming a truck expert through all of this, why not a mini cooper expert too haha.) Surely there must be so many if LE has hit a dead end. They would have already checked those registered in the area....did they check Wyoming I wonder...

I wish we could get a national coverage spot on the latest PC, at least letting those out of Colorado know these cases are unsolved. Just one story on cnn.com....I remember in the case of Baby Grace a woman out of state (grandmother iirc) called in the tip that led to identifying the child. And with the possibility that our perp(s) might not longer be in the area...

Also, I'm glad you mentioned Wyoming again, M2U...has there been coverage in Cheyenne, etc of the latest info from the April 26 PC? If not, it might be helpful to get the word out there on their local news channels. Note to self to check into this and possibly help initiate it if not already done.

Again, as often wondered in all these cases here, in child abduction and murder cases specifically, I wonder if these shootings are the work of younger or older perp(s). My initial instincts seem to go with younger, but then I think about these older nut jobs like Dear who shot up PP...

Sigh...this case is going to drive me absolutely bat$hit if it hasn't already.

Note at the end of the video, the vehicle puts the blinker on and turns left. Locals are commenting on the NoCo TF FB page that this is a dead end street, and also potentially provides access to a bike trail, fwiw.

that's kind of interesting shooting out the back window (I don't know how you guys can see it) ... easier to get off two shots...and if the person "riding shotgun" is right-handed that seems to work...they never said he if he was shot twice...and where WM was shot I think is just of the upper west side of the video...IMO

I went back to the video of the conference and have to take back what I said above about Captain Coleman's remarks. He did not sound like he was acknowledging that the window shatterings were deliberate. And I think that the reporter did misstate what the Moore was saying about the relationship of the window shatterings to the other incidents. He wasn't dismissing the possibility that the window shatterings might be linked to the other shootings, just saying that they hadn't identified any links.

they probably wont establish any links either because the lack of evidence is too difficult for them to deal with...but it wasn't weird side-flying road debris...IMO
