#Longmont police search of Dynel Lane's electronic tablet turned up no evidence she had searched for information on C-sections.

(This bit of info surprises me. How did she become so good at performing C section?)

I know this is argument is old, and irrelevant..... BUT...
I'm still having a hard time understanding why she isn't charged with murder.

From what I'm understanding from the tweets; it sounds like she spent a substantial amount of time after the attack trying to cover her tracks. ( starting laundry, deleting texts, putting the baby in the bathtub) This had to have taken some time, and according to the husband/ boyfriend the baby was still breathing when he arrived.

I am just shocked.....I mean how long does a baby have to be breathing outside of the womb for it to be considered

According to coroner, the baby was not breathing at birth.

Saying a coroner's ruling leaves them unable to file a murder charge against the Longmont suspect accused of cutting a fetus from another woman's womb, prosecutors Friday charged Dynel Lane with attempted first-degree murder and unlawful termination of a pregnancy, among other crimes.

Police say Lane, 34, attacked Michelle Wilkins, 26, removed her fetus and left her for dead March 18 after Wilkins responded to a Craigslist ad for baby clothes. Wilkins is recovering, but the baby did not survive.

On Friday, Boulder County Coroner Emma Hall said an autopsy performed on the baby girl showed no evidence that she had survived outside of Wilkins' womb and the circumstances did not qualify as a "live birth."
