Any way you look, this eccentric lifestyle is all these kids know.

Now at least they know that lying about something so serious will reap consequences. Unfortunately, the family will only receive a slap on the hand and in the future will probably all laugh about this.

I'm wondering about laws and what not - like charging them with "making a false report to authorites" covers a lot of area and doesn't seem a serious enough charge for this stunt imo. Like... IDK... for example, saying "someone stole my bike" is making a false report, right? but that doesn't require all the rescue efforts and search teams and national guard and blackhawks or whatever. And they actually deliberately launched a contraption into airspace such that FLIGHTS WERE DELAYED. I mean, it just seems there should be more to it than merely "making a false report." KWIM?

According to this article below apparently they did conduct the second round of interviews today after all.

Sheriff to file criminal charges in balloon boy case
" Larimer County Sheriff Jim Alderden spoke to reporters to announce "significant progress" in the investigation after a second round of interviews with the family this afternoon."

Watching the mom and the 3 boys I think they are all afraid of dad's temper...mom's demeanor seems she has been controlled...

I know what you mean! That was putting others at danger as well.

I guess the big black fellow friend who came to the PD and escorted them out came to maybe be their Body Guard???

Gee, maybe they get with the Gosselins and share body guards since Kate seems to need one oh so badly too!!

Any one still have the KDRV feed up? It seems that they are putting together something for a story later. I am seeing bits and pieces of raw video.

This is a note at the above:

FOX_31 Yeah, this is a live feed from our field crew. They are chopping clips for the 9oclock news. Sorry about the quality, we are going for speed here.

The quality isn't a problem. ;) I think it is kind of cool to watch them do this.
It reminds me of the olden days when Satellite feeds were open like this during cable commercials.

Family bouncing off the walls-- have left to stay at a hotel. In need of sleep, and confused why LE is searching their house.

Uh, let's see Heene's - me and few hundred thousand other people were glued to the tv set, unable to run our errands, do our work or anything that we were supposed to be doing - because we were worried, captivated and praying for your and your children. Oh wait, let me add a few uh uh uhs in there so he'll get it maybe. I mean geeze....I am so glad this wasn't a catastrophe but geeze, I had stuff to do that and I didn't -- I was locked to the tv. Thanks Heene's. I had never heard of you before then...now I'll never forget you.

You can quickly see the belt is on Mom too. Then it shifts back to the neighbor.

So Alderden changed his tune; It's about time. And I agree a misdemeanor charge is not serious enough.

"Alderden said he would speak to the local district attorney and the Federal Aviation Administration about the appropriate charge. He told reporters a misdemeanor charge of filing a false report would not be serious enough in this case. "

Yea, Geragoss intimated there could be a few minor charges and then the Federal ones.

And it sounds like there will be heavy duty sanctions, and the FAA as well as the Fed gvnmt will be involved. That is acc to the kooky judge in the ANS case

TomsGirl, can you hear what the female is saying while the men mess with the cellphone?
I hear "...And we don't want...." to which Richard turns and answers her.."Oh no....." right?

OT here: Is there a way I can stop the refresh from stopping on the my last entry and not go down to the next entry from someone else?

Links to pages look like this:
http ://www.websleuths.com/forums/showthread.php?t=90265&page=24

After you post a message, the software shows you to the post you made by redirecting directly to it, like this:

http ://www.websleuths.com/forums/showthread.php?p=4303038&posted=1#post4303038

..and every time you refresh that url, it'll send you back to that post.

The only way to go back to page view, so that it refreshes to the place on the page you are at, is to go back two pages w/your back button, and then hit refresh, or use the page number links at the top and bottom. :) Make sense?

Acc to TMZ " . . . The significance of a misdemeanor conviction is that authorities could go after the Heene family for the cost of emergency responders".
