I think from reading through many of the posts, there is some certainly not all but some agreement that SW job was a Thrive scheme. There is also agreement that maybe they were in big financial trouble. I have also seen posts that point to SW wearing the pants in the relationship.

I think all of this is the ingredients for a major disaster. I’m now at 50-50 his story is true or this was a failed murder-suicide. I just don’t see him as killings his kids to be with a mistress. I could see Scott Peterson as someone who would do that, but I just don’t get that feeling about CW.

What if he had to sell the house? And this was the reason why?

I'm not sure I understand your second question. Do you mean CW had to sell the house and that is the reason he killed them?

Mamamiamaria said:
The dogs alert to the fact that somebody died, they don't say who. So for example had an elderly relative lived there and died at some point, then it could be that they alert to. In the circumstances I guess it forms part of the investigation and assists LE in their early work.

I read on line that CW and SW bought the house brand new or had it built. New construction so no previous deaths at the home to alert cadaver dogs to. Only explanation to active alert is there was dead bodies on the premises.

I’m guessing that even though the house was locked up like fort knox from the inside and all the suspicious activity they still couldn’t do an arrest right then. They had to get more facts etc. so it took a couple of days to get everything in order for a lawful arrest? One that couldn’t be thrown out of court? Maybe? Just thinking outloud

Regarding welfare checks. I'm a dispatcher and we go to welfare checks ALL the time. NU didn't need to make up a story about a doctor, and there's no reason to believe she did.

If they turn up and it turns out the person is fine, that's a good thing. No LE says "gee I hope this person is dead so we didn't waste our time". I mean, come on.

No one needs to "mind their own business". LE relies on the public calling in their concerns. They'd all be sitting around the office playing Nintendo and drinking hot chocolates if they didn't. How would they ever know anything was wrong?

NU was concerned. She did the right thing. And as we know, she was right to be concerned. Her friend, and two beautiful children, had been murdered. Thank goodness she called.

Some posts here really don't sound like "genuinely held beliefs" to me.

Yes, I’m glad she did too. I’m unclear why anyone would object to a friend’s concern. Blaming a friend for worry is not typical.
But I do think on another note, some victim blaming derives from a natural desire to find reasons for tragic happenings so that we can tell ourselves that it will never happen to us. We will be more vigilant, wiser, alert, etc...

as far as a concerned friend intervening....more people are apt to criticize, after the fact, that friends “didn’t” call in or notice absences.

For Chris, it was that they were able to have a searchless warrant and see everything in View and tape it! And having Nicole to put it out in the public of what she saw!
Absolutely the best thing that could happen...well not for CW, of course;

There is not a simple answer to this but there are a ton of documents online that you can review about the reward plans, and VIP levels.
Thank you! Hence my frustrations with the careless assumptions being thrown out

But, I bet that you wouldn't have seen him having an affair, either.

Not sure why any attorney would waste money hiring posters when, in reality, jurors aren't supposed to be reading anything about the case.
I believe attorney early use of posters would be more to support a request for "change of venue" --not to be confused with seating a jury. Also, you'd be surprised how many attorneys are friends of WS, participated in podcasts with Tricia, and confirmed insight taken from posters here!

She did not get 200k This was an inspirational photo to look at as her goal to hit. She is so close to it but no it's not income. It's 200k in monthly sales and income is a percentage of that

What percentage do you get of monthly sales? If she was close to 200k, does mean like 180k. And if let’s say she’s gets 4%, that would be about 7,200. I assume taxes aren’t taken out and she gets a 1099 from this business?

It would help to know a percentage or does is vary depending on how much? Thank you.

Thanks blue, so SW was at 80K ( not as in dollars) as of say July 2018. ( timestamp for last entry?)
I'm just trying to catch up here with posts.
another post upthread has this 200k award. IDK the date of this "promotion"/"award" EDIT see below

Again, I'm wondering about this as I can imagine CW using anything at all in his defence. ( He's shown that already) if he goes for provocation, not that it'll help him of course.

If I was high up in Level I'd have already been prepping for the last fortnight, that due to potential damage to the business.

Edit- just seen a post from verified insider wtte that the 200k is not an award but a goal for SW at the time she was photo'd with this placard.

So what about Thrive and SW wearing the pants in the relationship. Our "feelings" about CW are of no consequence, it will come out that he wanted to be with his AP, not his wife and children

An attorney who intentionally taints a provisional jury pool regardless of the stage of the case, should be immediately reported and reprimanded IMO.

I think all of that stress contributed to the affair, maybe so.
Simply put, all the stress of the affair contributed to CW's murdering his innocent children and wife.

  • #675
Will the affair have different significance if the AP is married? What about if it is clear the AP had no intention of changing their situation.

Haven’t seen this mentioned except at CrimeOnline (Neighbor says Chris Watts “cared more about the dog” than pregnant wife and 2 toddlers he allegedly killed)

I’m not sure if it’s considered MSM, so if not, please remove!

““It was like he was being punished or hurt or something,” the neighbor said. He was just howling. Because we had a dog, I said, ‘What the hell is that all about? So we called the police and asked them to check on the dog. And it turned out that he was OK. They did a wellness check on the dog.””

Does that mean that police were called to the Watts home on two separate occasions that day?

Theory: Maybe if the dog wellness call happened first. Then when NU/A called for ANOTHER wellness check for a pregnant woman and kids to the same address, police knew there was something really wrong.

Thoughts? It’s the only place I’ve seen this reported, so who knows...
FYI Crimeonline.com belongs to Nancy Grace so yes we do allow Crimeonline.com

Isalybra,
How do the patches make you feel? can you put too many on? Do the patches give you energy? What are the adverse side effects you or your clients have experienced?
It's not just a "patch" The thrive experience is a 3 step system of multivitamins. Capsules, lifestyle mix, and then DFT all in the AM. Essentially what it does is detox you body and digestive system while replenishing with nutrients it needs. Helps with focus, energy, inflammation, weight (if needed) the only adverse effects anyone on my team has experienced is slight nauseousness the first day or two detoxing.

Hi, isalybra. Thank you so much for being here during what must be an incredibly difficult time. I am so sorry for the loss of your friend and her sweet babies, and I hope justice will be served for them.
I have zero experience with Thrive or similar products/companies, so I don't know anything about how their sales/pay structure works, or how the tax part works. I assume she would be responsible for handling that (would she be considered an independent contractor?)?
Thank you. I sincerely hope so as well. She means so much to so many of us and we feel the loss every single day. As far as the business, we essentially are like a business owner (self employed) Shan had an accountant whom she used to handle taxes and everything.

In your opinion. Just not there for me.

Yes! THIS !!!

I'm not saying Shanann was perfect, that's ridiculous. BUT, some posters don't give her enough credit. (IMO)

Shanann had Fibromyalgia AND Lupus, AND two daughters to raise, AND pregnant, AND had a job, AND a husband to deal with, AND housework ... plus all the incidental things you have to deal with in life.

Look what she accomplished!!! I have fibromyalgia & Lymes - it's no picnic. Days I can barely make it up the stairs. BUT look at what she accomplished!! Sorry, but I'm amazed by this woman. She should have more credit than what some of us give her.

I've needed to get away from this thread. It's so frustrating & devastating... besides I've nothing to add to these comments. Just my admiration of Shanann. I know the good sluethers & professional will keep us up to date. You guys are so appreciated.

Just want to remind everyone of the ignore option. I've never had to use it until this case. It's so wonderful :)

I couldn't agree more with what you've said. I am also amazed by everything she was able to do, and for the same reasons you've stated.

It is upsetting to see comments that make attempts to validate CW's story. Based on a previous experience I had on a murder case that was discussed on Websleuths, I know for a fact that the defense sometimes reads the forums on Websleuths. If they are reading, consider the possibility they may also be posting and are trying to figure out what might work in terms of trying to defend this guy.

And if that turns out to be the case here, then good luck on that. LE has already proven CW is a liar and they have also proven he was carrying on a secret affair. But it gets better - he disposed of his little daughters' bodies in crude oil storage tanks because his wife murdered them? How does that make any sense?

And he then gives media interviews pleading for their return and says he doesn't know what happened to them or where they are, when he absolutely knew what happened and he also knew exactly where they were, because he put them there. How does that make any sense.

It makes NO sense. IMO, CW is beyond evil, and I won't be surprised at all if more comes out about his secret life and that this most recent affair is just the tip of the iceberg.

All JMO.
