That’s not the point.
It is actually. You seem to really give him the benefit of the doubt and making her out to be the evil one. She’s no longer here to defend herself. I think it’s quite unfair.

i hate to sound so flippant, but my hairdresser knows more than my blood relatives. It's a thing between people and their hairdresser. It's like true confessions when you get in that chair. At least from how i grew up. Again, my opinion and I mean no harm, just found it funny that someone would ask.And also i don't really need to be a long time client, basically get in the chair and confess!!!!
I had the story wrong, i had thought the hairdresser was talking to sw about marital problems right in front of cw. Anyway i never go to one.

I never called her evil.

I don't think we're owed a statement from CW's parents to satisfy our own morbid curiosity.
I’m so grateful that no one in the Watts family is channeling Jackie Peterson. I’d so much rather them say nothing than have to listen to them, every night, defending C.W.’s honor on the news.

Maybe CW wanted to spare her family the heartbreak that she killed her girls. Maybe that’s why he tried to make it like they just left.

I believe the stress of it all came crashing down and SW snapped!
I honestly don't see that at all. He could have just left, walked away, even gone away. Not murder. I just can't believe that.

You didn’t call her evil, but you made many remarks about her eyes and killing the girls. That’s what C.W. said but it hasn’t been proven

The more I read and watch the more I think CW is pure evil and planned the four murders. At first I was in the 'snapped' camp but no more. moo
I think he turned it over in his mind for a long time until he decided it was best for him to proceed.IMO

No, it’s the date officially determined by Medical Examiner.

On the death certificate, yes, but not the obituary in most cases. As I stated earlier, Abby and Libby's families got to choose the date for the obits which is why they are different. The same for our family. We were given the choice. Depending on the newspaper and funeral home, families are often given the choice to write the obits themselves. They just print whatever the family gives them. The obit date and death certificate date can differ because obits tend to be printed sooner-often before toxicology and autopsy are complete.

No, but you have attributed her with all the stereotypical faults of women who force men to hurt them.

So you risk years of child support by committing a sloppy murder and confess to at least one murder in the days after. Just don’t see he wanted the money as the motive.

He didn’t expect his wife’s friend to get all protective and call the cops because she was worried about Shanann. Had he not been interrupted with a delayed flight and her friend, this would be a missing person case still, IMO.

The more FB videos I watch of CW with the girls and SW selling stuff the more I’m convinced he didn’t kill his daughters. Something going on in the look in her eyes in the videos.

Deja vu, this reminds me of the Rebecca Zahau thread, where we had these kind of arguments constantly for 6 or 7 years. The victim's family still won their case.

I wonder how long it took him to come up with this plan, and how angry he got when her late flight and NU's interference forced him to change it up. Was it weeks of preparation? Months? A year?

Sorry if repost, still catching up:

Funeral for Shanann Watts, daughters will be held in Pinehurst :: WRAL.com

“On obituary said a funeral for the family will be held Sept. 1 at the Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church in Pinehurst. A livestream of the service will be made available on the Boles Funeral Homes and Crematory Facebook page.“

——-

I’m also bringing forward some of the recent msm as I come across it to add to the media thread (I’m sure pommymommy’s got that covered though):

Did Chris Watts Foreshadow Alleged Affair with Coworker in 2012 Video?

Watch Colorado family murder suspect give relationship advice in 2012 video

Chris Watts, accused of killing family, made video about saving relationships

(That is one heck of an article title)
They've been added. Thanks, Magz. :)

If that were true and (I don't believe it is), he would have taken great care in how they were buried and they would have been together. They would not have been apart and in such horrific circumstances.

Or maybe he was just a lying, cheating husband. Both things which are proven.

I think it's a good possibility they were already in the tank. I do believe he killed them before SW.

I think LE charged him the way they did because they have strong evidence his confession is a bunch of you know what.

Moo

Oooh. Then I hope I’m wrong about him disposing of all three at the same time, because if he took the girls out first there would likely be evidence supporting that. Which would show that Shanann couldn’t have killed the kids.

I think it was on his mind when others noticed he was being distant and you can see a very slight eye roll about the flight delay during the interview. IMO

If memory serves me right whomever he confessed to can be subpoened to appear in court as a witness for the prosecution. In the Simpson case a guard claimed her overheard Simpson confess to retired football hero Rosie Greer when he went to visit him in prison. They COULD have forced him to testify but Greer had become a pastor therefore they could not by law force him to repeat what Simpson said. Religious privilage I guess as a priest can not be forced to reveal things said during a person's confession. Although I am pretty certain that can be overturned if the priest is told by some person about a crime they plan to commit in the future.

Thank you!!! That definitely makes sense! I think it’s crazy to me that he didn’t have to testify due to religious reasons when it was a confession to a murder but the law is the law

Edit for spelling.
