Well, the dude that killed Mollie “blacked out” so hey, maybe it’s the summer trend.....

*eye roll*
Not to mention, convenient

I think it’s possible he was sleepwalking when he killed them.

This is a troll statement. I mean no disrespect, but factually, this is pure troll stuff.

Colorado is a 50/50 parenting time state. (Not by law, but by common practice.)

HOWEVER, if one party wants to move away (so that 50/50 is not practical), then the courts will determine which parent would be in the children's best interest. In this case, I think it is easy enough (not a slam dunk but most likely) that SW gets primary custody if she moves to NC.

Oh and earlier you were arguing that maybe SW actually killed the girls, and now you referred to CW killing “them”. So what are you trying to do, here?

Colorado is a state that most times does 50/50 custody. My sister was a stay at home mom the entire time she was with her ex he worked. She did all of the care taking she is very similar to SW I think why I am so obsessed with this case I see my sister and ex brother in law in SW and CW but at any rate she got 50/50 and not full like she tried for. He even had an arrest record for DUI and marijuana possession (before it was legal) every person I know who shares custody does 50/50 except for those with children under 2. So either one of them trying to leave with the kids wouldn't have worked here.

That's sad. I mean, split custody is fine with both parents being responsible. I hate hearing of irresponsible parents getting even custody in arrangements.

I dunno how most states work. Most of my friends are from Ohio or Alabama, though I do have a friend in Washington who, even while living with her parents after her split, got primary custody of her son (and there were no criminal charges on her ex-husband or anything to push them that way). Even now, 6 years later, it's still the same arrangement. He gets him every other weekend and one 2 hr. visitation a week.

I find it super interesting that you just joined on Tuesday, that your screen name is “Advocate”, and that you are the only one on this thread arguing FOR the psycho dad that more or less admitted to killing, at minimum, his wife and hid his babies’ bodies....and likely killed all three, with quite a bit of evidence leaning that direction already, and we don’t even have near the information LE has on the case. I agree with others.... I think you might know him. Well, time will tell, eh? The truth will come out.

I doubt he knows CW. He could be a troll, he could know CW or he might just have an opinion that is the opposite of 99% of people on here. I keep playing through scenarios in my mind where CW didn’t kill all of them and I think that’s because on SM and what people have said about him he seems a caring father and husband. I see more of him playing with the kids than SW.

I think some people just have to try and believe a normal loving family can have this happen to them, otherwise what’s to say it couldn’t be our own family?

I believe he did kill all 3 - I just don’t want to believe it, and perhaps DAadvocate feels the same. Then again perhaps he / she is just after attention....who knows

Well unfortunately that has been used as a successful defence in a couple of UK trials, though for rape, not murder as far as I know. Personally I believe it's hogwash, but the sleepwalking defence, it has been used.

How did you figure out he killed them when there are no facts?

I do agree with you, that this is a startling and sober case. CW honestly doesn’t look like an evil killer. He looks like a nice dad and a good husband. It’s sort of almost that “worst nightmare” feel, that maybe who you trust the most can turn against you.

I have to say that the videos of him playing with the kids doesn’t mean that he played with them more than she did, though. It just means she took videos of him while he did not take videos of her. So we really can’t go by videos posted on social media to compare parenting, IMHO.

I’ve said if you have read my posts along the way I have a few theories.

1. He is telling the truth
2. He did it and was planning a murder suicide but backed out.

Anyone else still stunned at the sleepwalking defense just presented upthread? ?Should we explore it? Intriguing. IMO

No, because it is beyond ludicrous. A true "sleep disorder" occurence would have been an issue that occurred previously. And on the outside chance, this was a first occurrence, CW would not have acted the way he did. He would have called the police. Or not continued to lie.

The truth will set you free.

CW has already made too many mistakes to change the story now. Aside from his first mistake of killing his family, then, driving them to the gravesite in a company truck (!), burying them on his employers work site, allowing police officers in the home without a warrant, talking to police officers and reporters, he should have kept to one story, "I have no idea what happened, please speak to my attorney'. The errors here are epic.

There's way more video of my husband playing with our kids than there is of me because I'm typically the one behind the camera taking pics and doing the recording. I imagine it was the same with SW.

That’s why I have such a hard time believing this. Those videos of them. I just can’t believe it all for a mistress?

Interesting . This makes me wonder why any logical, sane person would pose a sleepwalking defense?????

I could actually go along with a botched murder-suicide theory. Except it’s difficult to strangle yourself. Same end result as what actually happened, anyway. Doesn’t really make a difference if he intended to kill himself or not.

Good husbands do not have girlfriends on the side.
