What if the AP everyone thinks it is is actually a close work friend of his that he confided in about maybe his real AP? I think that explains the name thing.

I just can't get over him thinking that anyone was going to buy his story of her running off with the two kids and no belongings at all.
Right? How dumb does dumb get?

On that assumption then. Killing the girls before she got home wouldn't work. As I'm pretty sure IMO that she would have gone into the girls rooms to see them, even if CW told her not to disturb them.

So he follows right behind her, as she walks towards the girl's, and he comes up close enough to wrap a rope/wire around her neck, from behind. He could bring her down, quickly, quietly and brutally, in no time at all.

Was he staying with friends? He mentioned that in the interview, iirc. I found that strange as you would think you would want to be HOME in case his missing family showed up. There is no reason for the house itself to be uncomfortable, unless you knew something violent happened inside. Would you want your missing wife and kids to come home to nobody? Hmmm..jmo

This!

If you have ever been strangled and pinned down by a strong man your first reaction is to try to get their hands off your neck which is impossible but that's your first instinct and you don't even try to fight with your hands in a more effective way like hitting it's literally trying to pry hands off your own neck.
Or it's possible he used something other than his hands which would put some distance between he and the victims.
First instinct would be to try and get your hands under the object so you could breathe.
Also he possibly could have heavily drugged them so they couldn't put up much of a fight.IMO

True, that could work also. We really need to see the autopsy report.

Maybe he smothered her with a pillow. We don't actually know she was strangled. jmo

My husband who played Rugby once came up behind me and grabbed me around the chest not knowing his own strength compared to my size and it winded me.
He was joking around.

Well, she had been visiting her family for 6 weeks with the children.
I don't buy it at all tho.

I hope so.

I agree....

I think there is a good reason a sheet from the bed in the master bedroom (and I think pillow cases, too) were in the garbage can. I think he may have been concerned there might be evidence on them. I think she was killed while either in or on the bed in the master bedroom and that he didn't have time to get rid of the garbage with the sheet and pillow cases, and his plan was to get rid of it when he came home from work on Monday. But SW's friend N, foiled that plan. JMO.

As for the fitted sheet, JMO, he used it to drag SW's body through the house to the garage. What doesn't make sense is why he left that sheet on the ground, near her grave. Did he have plans on coming back to that site Monday night, as well? If he did, N foiled that as well. JMO.

I can just never understand the thought processes behind this type of person. I mean, the complete lack of logical thought and foresight. I get that he enjoyed being without his family for six weeks. But to actually think murder solves the problem is complete insanity. I always get incredibly curious when you have somebody that is basically crime-free for a good portion of their lives, and then decides to do something incredibly stupid that no one in their right mind would even think about, let alone try.... you always kinda wonder what makes these people snap like this. What makes people think, “Oh, this extreme crime will solve all of my problems.” Sooooo weird.
I think that, too. What were they thinking? Did they really think their life would get better after committing their unspeakable act? Did they really think they’d get away with it? And then after they get arrested, when they’re sitting alone in their jail cell, what do they think? “Oh man, I guess I got this one wrong. Whatever happens, I’m never going to admit it. What do I have to lose?”

No car, no car seats, no phone, no purse, no keys and no medications (when all three of them had health issues). She was on a playdate. o_O

I think if you were being strangled you might be trying to get his hands off your neck instead of scratching him....so you could breathe. You wouldn't have much energy to fight if you can't breathe.
Sometimes there's actually more scratches on the victim's neck as she tries desperately to remove his hands or scarf wrapped around her throat.

My first thought was semen from a rendezvous with the AP.

Was there maybe more to his plan? Like he thought he could get home early and get rid of some of her stuff?

Now that is a good point!

I can see him doing that and not wanting to look into SW eye’s as he killed her.
