OK, let's just say Crime Online is a friend of management. MOO Also, I thought you were the poster with broken link hence the RO reference. Please disregard it.
It's possible that the wacky makeup guy is a troll and friend of JLR and he hijacked the story of CW's real male hookup and claimed it as his own. In any event, the police must have the phone records of CW, SW and any people who have come forward to say that they had sex with CW.
LE may have served search warrants on MeetMe, Tinder, and Grindr websites
in order to review CW's account if he had one.

A good chance to get a house for wayyyy under market value but I don't think I could do it. Going to bed where 3 innocent people were strangled to death..ugh. Makes me sick just thinking about it.

Habitat for Humanity purchased the house and moved a family in. I dunno if I could personally do it but I'm not superstitious or anything, so I'd like to think I could separate from whatever happened in the house prior to me buying it.

Or make money? I am not sure that it is a good advertisement to show pudding faced women to further the brand.
Buy Thrive and you can look like me. No thanks.
I know that we are not supposed to react, but that is just SO wrong. I'm disgusted that is allowed.

Home of the free?

HOAs is one of the reasons that I like where I am from and where we live. I've lived in the mountains and in the country for so long that I honestly don't know that I could live in a place that dictated what color my porch could be and what kind of flowers I can plant in my yard. Our county is so rural and so lax about these things that I could literally build a workshop in my backyard, decorate my lawn with hundreds of pink flamingos, not pull the garbage can back from the curb for a week, and quit mowing my yard to encourage our state's wildflowers to grow wherever they wanted and I wouldn't have to ask permission for a darn thing. I realize that HOAs have their place and some people actually REALLY like the order and sensibility they provide but the very idea of someone telling me what I can and can not do to my own property freaks me out.

Feel free to report my post if it offends you.

I've wondered this as well. CW may have been rather well-known in the gay hook-up community.

That's bad juju. I've lived in houses where the prior people got divorced. Even that seemed to put a dark cloud over the place.

I wouldn't give a thought to people who were divorced and I could buy a house where people were murdered. Nothing to do with me or mine.

Late to the discussion, but there is no way that the Watts come up short on a sale of their home. They bought it for $400K, now it is worth $500K (pre-murders). The market is hot. No, now is a great time to sell---they pay all commissions and closing costs and pocket a some cash.

OTOH, post-murder, the estate has a problem on its hands.
Aren't they still building new homes in that development? I would think that
new buyers would prefer a brand new home or the one down the street that is
decked out with the music stage room and billiard room.

Those houses look behemoth to me and decorated with sparse furniture. It's weird to see the Great Room with one lonely couch directed at a flat screen TV over the fireplace.

Google Maps is behind the times (2012), so it's hard to see exactly how the area looks now. It seems pretty desolate.

I couldn't stand the generic uniformity, rules and/or meetings of an HOA neighborhood, either, mtnlites. I, too, live rurally, watch stars at night, and drink spring water. Live and let live.

Regarding the Ashleigh Banfield show, I was weirded out from the beginning as they were introducing the caller as CW's "lover."

Lover?? Who uses that term anymore? I wouldn't expect the gay community to use that term to describe casual hookups. Even serial casual hookups. Am I wrong?

I didn't look up Colorado but in California:

Three-Year Rule
Under California Civil Code Section 1710.2, if someone dies on the property, it's a material defect – but only if the death occurred within three years of the date you make an offer to purchase or rent the home. Technically, if the property was the location of a mass murder in 1975, the seller, lessor, agent or broker does not legally have to volunteer the information.

But who uses mistress anymore?

People move into homes and never think to change the toilet seats.

They just sit on down and never think about how many times the previous owners or renters went to the bathroom on them things.

Just some food for thought. :)

Thanks. Now I'm going to have to replace my toilet.

But who uses mistress anymore?

I would probably describe the fellow as a person who claims to have engaged in casual sexual encounters with CW. Sure, "lover" is more concise, but I think the term implies a certain amount of emotional intimacy and not just trysts. "Were you and CW making whoopie or just pitching woo?"

That's a mouthful. I'd just describe him as a booty call. lol
