This has happened with the Post, they were sold to some kind of hedge company and have had massive layoffs. I subscribe to support the survivors. The cable channels, Internet etc. have really hurt them. I guess I should have added that I find the big cable news networks to be sloppy as well. In the case that is the subject of this thread, I am relying on the information released via Colorado Judicial Branch , and taking absolutely everything else with a big spoonful of salt. imo

I think that’s a great way to approach this case specifically, and reported news in general. Even though the network or organization may be reputable, their sources may not.

Unless it comes from the mouth of law enforcement, or court records, “taking everything with a grain of salt” is the way to go.

As a Mom of two young kids like Shanann was this registry is confusing to me. It looks like a first time Mom's registry who has no idea how much things cost or what you actually need for a baby. I would never register for a over $200 mamaroo for a 3rd baby or 2 different fancy baby bath tubs. Typically with a 3rd baby you wouldn't have a baby shower so I'm not sure why she would have made a registry, I only made one with my first baby. Also I have to wonder why she didn't still have a lot of that stuff she registered for from her girls. I'm not planning on having more kids but still have lots of bottles, blankets, clothes, jumperoo, boppy, sit me up seat ect. down in my storage room just in case I change my mind about a 3rd baby or have a friend or family member that needs that stuff.

I have to wonder if Shanann thought they were done having kids, got rid of every baby item and then at some point had a change of heart and then registered for new stuff.

Agree this is odd for most mothers who are having a 3rd baby. Usually by that point you realize you only need a few basics. You know what works, what doesn’t, what’s really needed & what you just thought you’d need. Plus you have many things already (perhaps a few extras/replacements needed if not gender-neutral).

Was SW a perfect person? Of course not. I can't guarantee that she and I would have even gotten along. However, she was still a victim. I don't have to like someone to still be able to stand up for them. Watching her get labeled with personality disorders and mental illness, accusing her of being a liar and having abandonment issues-ALL based upon a few social media posts is disheartening. (Not to mention the insinuation that she lied about her lupus, which was an argument on here several threads back, too.)

Would it be appropriate to look at Bella and Cece and say, "There are blocks on the floor and they're not picking them up. They must have ADHD and Oppositional Defiance Disorder"? No.

We can get a feel for her on her pages, but that's it. No matter how many interviews we read and how often we check out her profile, we don't actually know her.

The "devil's advocate" in me also wants to ask, if true, does it matter? If we did learn that she was depressed or had BPD would that make her less of a victim? Would that make her daughters and son less?

Wish I could like this a hundred times. Spot on and thanks.

Oh definitely not saying it's tacky to have showers after your 1st, every baby deserves to be celebrated! Just that typically by the 3rd baby mom's have most of the big stuff they need and don't do a registry like that.

Yeah, it's mostly for clothes and stuff. SW was like me in that her third child was a different gender than her other two. I had nothing for girls. But the big stuff, yeah.

Found the twitter post of alleged male and CW. Scroll down the page. To me it looks like buttocks not shoulder. Distinct buttock shape therefore tattoo not seen.

How did this reporter get the picture? Has HLN said it's a picture they saw and verified or anything? Without something more than what's there the pic is meaningless other than to say it's some guy with another person and neither one is CW.

Supposedly. We have no way of knowing if that's true. The person saying the supposedly thing isn't connected to HLN. She could have yanked it from his twitter account.
