Yup, as early as 10-12 weeks with NIPT (Non-Invasive Prenatal Testing). Ultrasound (with a good tech) can tell as early as 14 weeks. I found out at 14.5 weeks that my baby was going to be a boy.

The doctor may have ok'd the patches since most medical professionals agree that none of the ingredients can actually be absorbed through the skin as advertised. JMO though.

She was supposed to have the gender reveal party last weekend, they were going to know the sex soon. It's been speculated that is what the doctor's appointment was for. That may be why NU was so anxious to hear from SW that day and shocked she didn't hear from her. Maybe NU was the designated person to prepare the reveal. I've wondered if CW and SW actually knew the sex yet.

Does Thrive say these patches are safe for pregnant women? I know that supplements have no testing nor are they considered to necessarily contain or not contain ingredients they say they do.

Does Thrive say that the patches are safe for people with lupus and or fibromyalgia?

It is a very strange thing to me that does not impact that he killed her. I am simply curious if people ever question the safety of the patches

That's right she was hoping for a boy. Said a boy would make CW happy. They chose the name Nico for him. It's 18-20 weeks when the sex can be determined. She was 15 weeks

I found out via US that I was having a girl at 14 weeks, and it was confirmed at 15 weeks. There are also blood tests now that can tell you much sooner!

Edited to add...in the United States you can pay out of pocket to have a private ultrasound done with techs who are really experienced at determining gender. The reason I went so early and did this on my own was because I had four boys in a row and really wanted to start shopping for a girl.

SW's brother said she knew she was having a boy and his name was going to be Nico. I'd say her brother is a pretty reliable source.

From my understanding, this appointment was going to check the heartbeat (probably the first doppler listen). I had my first doppler appointment at 16 weeks with my current baby. I don't think it was a "find out the gender" appointment. I'm pretty sure she likely had NIPT.

I thought her brother confirmed it was a boy?! It was NOT too soon to tell, that is a fact I know from first hand experience.

To put this guy on the air, I’m sure that they did their due diligence. Text messages, photos, something to verify the veracity of his claims.

This type of thing has a huge potential for embarrassment if they are in fact wrong, so they would require some evidence.

Maybe...she created the registry, if it’s hers, before she found out the sex and was planning on removing stuff but never got to it because of all the travel and craziness.

Also on the NIPT, she would not need to go to the doctor for those results. You can literally view them online. When you do a blood draw, you get a card with a code given to you, and you set up your online account (at least that's how mine worked). As soon as your doctor confirms receiving the result, the testing company posts them on your account.

I'd be shocked if she hadn't had it, tbh. Most women opt for it anymore, and the doctors push it hard. My doctor had me do it at at 11 weeks, it came back insufficient fetal fraction, and then pushed me to do a redraw at 14 weeks, and it came back insufficient as well. They wanted me to come back a third time and I declined. As with a lot of things, they get a kickback from the company for every test they run. And her insurance would've covered it since she was a high-risk pregnancy.
