Yes. You're more than likely correct.
All we can really hope for is that they were unaware as to what had happened to their mother, and their deaths were quick.

he told LE the girls were strangled and he then strangled SW (cuz rage). CW stated how they all died and that is ONE thing I don't think he lied about.

MOO
There's always tidbits of truth when someone lies. IMO and experience.

His defense would be laughable if we weren’t talking about the murders of three innocent people. “Shannan strangled the kids so I killed her, then desecrated their remains by putting them in the oil tanks at work.” He is another one who is as stupid as he is evil.

Oh yes. I hope also that SW didn't know what happened to her daughters and her death was quick. It's just a matter if he wanted to see her suffer or just wanted her gone so it was quick.

Unfortunately strangulation takes time, so he may very well have made her suffer regardless. What an animal.

As a Mom of two young kids like Shanann was this registry is confusing to me. It looks like a first time Mom's registry who has no idea how much things cost or what you actually need for a baby. I would never register for a over $200 mamaroo for a 3rd baby or 2 different fancy baby bath tubs. Typically with a 3rd baby you wouldn't have a baby shower so I'm not sure why she would have made a registry, I only made one with my first baby. Also I have to wonder why she didn't still have a lot of that stuff she registered for from her girls. I'm not planning on having more kids but still have lots of bottles, blankets, clothes, jumperoo, boppy, sit me up seat ect. down in my storage room just in case I change my mind about a 3rd baby or have a friend or family member that needs that stuff.

I have to wonder if Shanann thought they were done having kids, got rid of every baby item and then at some point had a change of heart and then registered for new stuff.
I had showers thrown for me for all 3 of my kids. Stuff gets worn out, given away, misplaced ect. I kept almost everything between kids, but still needed to replace things. I wasn't going to have a 3rd shower (i didnt plan any of them), but it was forced on me...lol I did have registries because I was asked to. The people who thought it was tacky didnt show up. Fine with me. Im not a fan of any of my in-laws anyway...:p

Yes. I just hope she didn't already know her daughters were dead before he killed her. Can you imagine the heart pain! I hope he wasn't enjoying watching her suffer that!
This guy has to be a psychopath. Who else does this to their own children?

They're certainly getting something. I had a discussion with a pregnant friend of mine who is in her 20s... both our doctors were super aggressive about us getting this testing. It's not even legitimate diagnostic testing- so why push it so hard, even on low risk moms if there isn't some sort of benefit in doing so?
I think (Lord, I PRAY (if these doc are law-abiding)) that they push these because they're new, available and paid by insurance (or the testing company assists in payments for the patient) AND alleviates even the smallest bit of liability of the doc.

my work will order ANY genetic test if it's offered/ordered/suggested by the doc (or requested by the patient) and consented by the patient.

*do we pre-auth insurance for these? nope. not our deal.
*do these companies give us goodies? a catered lunch for 'all staff' but that's it.
*do they promise us the patient won't pay out of pocket? YEP!!

Wow, it does. RH was bi-sexual too, wasn't he?

(I remember your dedication all throughout trial, NCteacher)

Yes, I agree and hadn't thought of it before. But there are some strong similarities between RH and CW.

Besides the double life of cheating, and deceit, there was the talk of Ross being such a devoted, loving father. Many people said he talked about his boy all of the time, and was very devoted.

But then, we hear from his own mouth, that while he is home with his son, who is laying next to him , Dad of the Year is sexting with underage girls and various prostitutes.

And after taking his son to breakfast, he promptly FORGETS about him, within one minute of leaving ChikFilla, and turns the wrong way, failing to drop him off to daycare.

So there seem to be some glaring similarities here. Both of these 'fathers' were seen by others as caring, devoted family men--and as loving fathers.

Yet when investigated closely, they had very dark sides to them, and were living out secret, greedy lives.

And both of these men initially became prime suspects, because of their inability to appear emotionally distraught by the loss of their children. They acted too cool and unbothered. Because they were?

I know when I researched mine (because nobody told me that if you're overweight, and less than 16wk, that the likelihood of having enough fetal fraction for a result is a whopping 33%), people were getting slammed with 1500+ dollar bills from Panorama after their doctors would assure them they were covered. My friend's bill was $800. It doesn't seem to be a consistent price. When I log into my account it still says "Insurance pending", but they told me all of the patients they see with my insurance provider don't ever get bills from the company. So, I may yet be surprised with a large bill from them.

A large bill with no result, even. lol

I'm getting stuff together for our podcast and web series so I sat here tonight and watched all three interviews with him again. Some thoughts:
- there's definitely something up with the monitors. He mentions them in all 3 interviews.
- It's all about what HE wants and needs. I NEED to see them. I NEED for them to be here. This house is lonely. I NEED everyone to come home.
- he rarely mentions them by name and regularly refers to his daughters as "those kids", "those girls", etc.
- He sure did get nervous when that dog started going crazy.
- He also perked up when he was talking about his shirt.
- He spoke in circles that didn't really make sense. "if they're safe then they need to come home." There was only one plea for them to make it home safely and it was done half-heartedly.
- I totally believe him when he says that he rushed home when Nicole called him. That's one of the few moments in the interview where I think he was being truthful. The other time was when he said something about this being a nightmare.
- Hallmark of a bad liar: too many details.
- He gets the opportunity to talk about his daughters, children who may be dead at that very moment, and the first thing he offers to say about them is that one is a "rampage", a "troublemaker", and yells at people?
- He recites things that he "misses" about them as though he is doing an impression of a television sitcom dad. Not that he misses their smiles or laughter or snuggles at bedtime but how didn't get to tell them to finish their dinner or else no dessert!
- And I think he does that a lot. He showed almost no emotion, other than nervousness, but sometimes I got the feeling that he was acting and TRYING to appear like a worried dad, or how he thought a concerned father should look.
- Total blank on Shanann references but a few times during his children's mentions he closed his eyes, chewed his bottom lip, and gulped.
- Her "people." I want people...that sounds like fun.

Nothing new, of course. It's just interesting to go back and watch these. My husband and I appear on podcasts together (don't worry, I'm not advertising) and we talk about weird things and dark Americana. He goes into it knowing absolutely nothing about what we're going to discuss. I then lay out the entire story for him and then he offers his gut reactions, ideas, etc. He's really going to wind up down the rabbit hole for this one.

Whatever his mental diagnosis is, something is very wrong. Unfortunately, crimes like this happen all the time, to include famous cases like John List, Bradford Bishop, and Robert Fisher. Atleast justice will be timely here.

That trial took place in the county seat of where we have our island summer home. It's a really small place, not a lot of people go there, so it was a huge deal to have it going on because it was such a high profile case. I actually got to sit in on the trial twice. Thinking about it still gives me chills.

I watched (only viewed, no audio) at first of CW's interview. I knew then he had killed his family. Then I listened to it. He seemed pretty calm. But when he knew the dogs were in during his interview there at the house his neck muscles were pretty concerned! Told it all!
