I'm just not sure what I'm missing in the video & pictures you referenced.
Many posters liked and agreed with you. It leads me to think my brain may be wired wrong :)

No, But, honestly what am I misreading?

I see a young woman (in video you referenced) that seems at peace and content with her life.
I don't see 'phony'. It doesn't make me feel 'creepy', nor do the family pictures.

I know nothing about MLM. Only Amway two decades ago - a friend's husband was selling it. That's it, nada, except for that.

I'm wondering if people, for some odd reason, feel a jealousy toward Shanann because her experience with MLM was positive? Not in any way saying you feel that way. Just truly cannot understand all the negativity about Shanann...? Several posters agree with you - What Am I Missing?

Sometimes it feels as if the whole world is jaded :( Why can't a person post their beliefs, that they are content, and, YES, happy with life? Why are people all too eager to smear those people?

I, for one, am so glad that the last few years of her life she smiled a lot.
Glad that she enjoyed her much too short life & posted 'happy' moments.

So, what the heck is wrong with me?
Why am I not seeing what so many of you are seeing? What Am I Missing here? Serious question.

Tia
FWIW, whether any of us like SW or not, no matter what we think of spending time staging and live-streaming your domestic life....the woman is a victim of homicide.

We're a victim-friendly site.

Just my 2¢.

Yeah. I'm going to take that as speculation on her part unless I see a source. For all we know, the tank location was where he was working. I've even considered the fact that he was out there from 6:15am (whenever he arrived from home) until he got the notification from his Ring camera that NU was knocking on his door. Then he panicked and started rushing home.

I don’t think that is where he was working since he told the detective he was going to a job site in Hudson when he obviously went twice as far, to Roggen. I do agree he could have been out there all morning though. NUA was at the door around 12:10, Officer was dispatched at 1:40 and when he contacted Chris, he said he was 5 minutes away. So, unless Chris was at a job site at least 90 minutes away, he didn’t start rushing home as soon as NUA was at the door.

Is it possible that CW has a sexual compulsion/appetite, hetero or bi, that drove him to cheat while also being completely attracted to SW?

Then....maybe....

.... he became emotionally attached to an AP and pulled away from his family (therefore noticeably distant)

Or

...he enjoyed the freedom of his summer and didn't want it to end

Or

....he was going to be exposed as a "failure" (at least in his mind) due to financial issues and/or affair discovery

...Maybe he found out he had an STD and didn't want Shanann to go to her doc appt Monday morning. My cheating ex once deleted a voicemail from my gyno telling me to call back. They were just letting me know everything was normal, but my ex's guilty conscience made him worry

Edited to correc

I’ll add to your list of ORs..

I get the sense Shanann was the best thing that ever happened to CW. He seemed to have a social disability which prevented him from meeting people or having close intiment relationships. When she took a chance on him due to his “persistency” I think it’s possible this was the first time he felt like a hero, or was recognized as one from other people due to “loving”/“supporting” her through her health problems e.g lupus

As their relationship continued, he received more and more praise because Shanann made him more likable. She instilled confidence in him, she motived him be healthier, she motived him to lose a tremendous amount of weight and to become fit/toned/muscular— he doesn’t even look like the same guy from several years ago.

Lastly, she made him a father to two beautiful girls.

He was admired because of Shanann.
He was respected because of Shanann.
He progressed because of Shanann.
He became a man in people’s eyes because of Shanann

Whatever the trigger(s) was/were he couldn’t be the bad guy. He couldn’t go back to everyone viewing him for what he is— a shell of a man.

I agree. I see nothing fake. Just because she doesn't post her and CW fights doesn't make her fake.
She was beautiful, positive and I have no doubt if she was allowed to live she would have continued on just as happy and positive with some heart ache getting through another divorce and 3 babies. I feel she would have made the best of it all JMO

:) Wish I could give your post 1,000,000,000++ likes.

Was starting to feel as if my mind was going wonky. I actually blinked when I saw all the likes and agreeing posts to Rickshaws post. It made my heart ache :(

I just wish posters would give Shanann a break. SHE DID HER BEST, from all that we've seen and found out about CW.

Thanks Pommy! That's the one I was talking about. Did CW have to go through that ranch arch and through those building to get to the tank farm? It says all visitors must be approved by Mr. Cervil, something like that. So one of my questions is that if that area is accessible all night long, or if he had to wait until 6 or so to get in?

In the arrest affidavit it says that SW's cell phone was found in the loft area between the bedrooms, between two cushions of a sofa.
Quote from the arrest affidavit:
https://www.courts.state.co.us/userfiles/file/Court_Probation/19th_Judicial_District/caseofinterest/2018CR2003/001/Warrantless Arrest Affidavit.pdf

If Shannan was attacked before she could go upstairs, then it must have been CW who later placed her cell phone between the sofa cushions in the loft, probably to hide it there.

Or:
SW did make it upstairs, discovered that the children were dead, wanted to call the police, CW came after SW and attacked her, and her cell phone ended up between the sofa cushions during the deadly struggle ...

It doesn't say that the cell phone was found when he was there.. It says that he later learned perhaps by when the warrant was done on the house? It could have been moved by Chris. I'm reading that it was not found when they did the first search!!!!!

"that Det. Baumhover later learned was found between two cushions "

It could have been with Chris the entire time, and after the detective left, and when he was at the house by himself, he placed it there. That's what I'm thinking right now.

perhaps question the timeline for the person that is keeping the timeline up here?

The phone forensics are going to be very very interesting! Did her phone turn off at some point and then reappear on at the house? Or was it on the entire time at the house. Her Google applications or her apple applications should show stuff like that, but I would be sure that the law enforcement and FBI pinged her phone many times. They know.

In this case it hasn't really felt like it.
I get that everyone has an opinion & that's ok, diversity and all. It's just rough to read negative posts about victims. I know, I know ... this case is an exception because of CW making his accusation against Shanann.

Thanks for replying.

I can't see the OP so not sure how to answer.
You're asking what's missing from the videos in general or just one?

I can help with what seems to be missing from the videos in general but not sure if you mean one or overall impression given. Seems to be the latter, considering the rest of your post.

SW showed us she was totally happy & content on an almost daily basis..Someone said (AB?) that if it wasn't true she deserves an Academy Award because that's just how convincing she was..I realize it can be faked (like CW?) but I honestly don't believe a mentally normal person is capable of that.

Summer Before Triple Murder, Watts Couple Had 'Full-Blown Fight' — Then Hugged When They Were Seen
8/31/18

“I think they were always putting on a show,” says Melinda Phillips, who recalls seeing Chris and Shan’ann “clearly having an argument” in their driveway one day earlier this summer....

“From a full-blown fight to hugs in less than a minute, it was incredible,” she says......

The bodies of Shan’ann, Bella and Celeste were recovered not long after Chris was arrested on Aug. 15 and accused of their murders. Their remains had been concealed on property belonging to his former employer. (He was fired the same day he was taken into custody.)

Motive has yet to be confirmed, drawing greater scrutiny to Chris’ suspected infidelities.

Among other alleged revelations, according to investigators, was the confirmation that Chris was cheating on his wife with a co-worker at the time of the three slayings. A source close the investigation told PEOPLE this week that Chris had relationships with both men and women outside of his marriage.

IMO, welcome to the world of Mars vs. Venus. Too many variables and another five minutes IMO. And where does this witness to this event live. If you were so concerned and thought it off, report it. No previous DV reports as was previously stated IIRC.
Yes, I am team Shanann, all the way, but a driveway dispute is now suddenly a valid point. Welcome to married life ma’am (Miss Melinda).

But why would SW have publicly stated that as fact via public posts on SM (that it was CW that had to talk her into trying for a 3rd)? CW had FB at that time, remember. And all of their friends, sure,y that would’ve come up or mentioned there too, no?
That’s a pretty big statement for her to make if it wasn’t indeed fact.
Not looking for a WS fight, just looking to understand what lead to your belief that it was SW and not CW initiating trying for a 3rd, when public statements show otherwise?
Yes, I get it, SM public posts isn’t the end all be all for actual facts, but if one is posting publicly, then why wouldn’t that have been the case?

I don't want to fight with anybody. I'm glad to discuss my theories. Please read my tone to be most cordial and open. None of us has perfect information because we weren't there, so all we can do is try to make the pieces of the puzzle fit as best we can. (That goes to the Theory of the Case, by the way, which I may discuss in more detail soon. Theory of the Case is a very short idea that sums up not only what happened but why.)

Getting to your question, we have two conflicting things here: 1) her statement about CW wanting another child, and 2) the fact that he killed his wife, his children, and his unborn child just a few months later.

So, if he wanted a third child so badly (or wanted a son, which is what is often stated outright or strongly implied whenever a couple with two daughters decides to have a third child), then why did he kill the third child (and everyone else)? That doesn't make much sense, especially in light of the fact that they were having relationship issues to one degree or another.

He was obviously unhappy and getting unhappier, may have been cheating on SW, possibly with a man for several months before she got pregnant (if we believe AB's guest). So I have a hard time believing that he was the one that wanted another child.

But why would she lie about it? I don't know. Maybe it goes to the image of success and the perfect family that SW was trying to create---that's one theory. Maybe other people here could suggest other reasons why she might make that up. But actions speak louder than words, so I'm discounting what she said.

I hope that explains it.

Sorry, it was the 31 minute video that @margarita25 reposted.

Feel like a doofus for saying this, but don't know how to link videos using my phone :) I'm sorry I'm old school.

Edit: auto correct was not correct, again!

Do you mean a mentally healthy person is not capable of a continuous positive attitude?
Just not quite sure if that's what your saying. TIA

Thanks Bill - I agree with you. I'm glad you can get your point across because I have a very difficult time trying to explain my thoughts and reasons on here.

I thought he got home fairly quickly & isn't that location close to 40 miles away?

He got home quickly after the police officer called and asked about the keypad to the garage. (See Affidavit.) We don't know how much earlier it was when NU first called CW, or when he was alerted to her snooping at the front door when he was alerted by his Ring camera app on his phone.

Yes, me also. I'm an odd one, though ;) I try to weigh the pros & cons of liking posts... weird, I know. If it's not a nice post, I do consider the effort put forth from the poster. :)
