First, I seriously doubt laundry and making 3 beds on Monday morning was a high priority for CW when he had to load and dispose 3 dead bodies a leave by 5:27AM! I believe throwing anything in the trash was to get rid of evidence. If CW smothered the girls with their pillows, he would probably put the pillow slips in trash, and same for the sheets where their little bodies rested.
Why would he need to do that. As he could just wash them while he was in the house with all the lights on on Monday night.
I think he was trying to get rid of the sheets and put a new set on the master. Most households have more than one set in their house for a master bed. It would look hinky if one part of the set for the master was missing perhaps.
I think he was trying to get rid of evidence, or else he would just have washed the children's pillow cases. But then again, what evidence was on there as they did not see anything visible on Monday.
