"Yea we do quilts, memorial throws , wind chimes , donations If requested by family and a lot of plants . I guess it’s a regional thing . Here we take food over for the family at their homes and give gift cards so they dont have to worry about cooking as well . When my friend passed away she was cremated . The funeral home rented a casket for the memorial to her family . Odd request IMO but they did it to keep tradition looking Funeral without people questioning her decision to be cremated ."
I don't think they were cremated. A GoFundMe had raised almost $100,000 for funeral expenses. There is a picture of the graveside services, and I wanted to share it because there was a beautiful cloud with a gorgeous ray of sunshine shining down on the gravesite. Hopefully, that is o.k.to post since it is not of people, and it was a public post. I know that we have all grieved the loss the Shanann and her 3 innocent children. They were a religious family and saw this as a sign that God was reminding them that their loved ones were safe with Him and this was a form of comfort. For those who are religious, this is a comforting picture. For those that are not religious, it is beautiful nonetheless.
