@DrWander The media has said Shannan was lucky to get pregnant bc of lupus . She according to her social media stating trying on May 8 found out she was pregnant on June 10. She posted she was due on February 2. She had an ultra sound on June 19. Is that precautionary bc of her Lupus? Second question She stated her conception date was May 8 the first day they tried . I didn’t know if maybe her supplements patch helped her get pregnant so fast .

My Dad's nails started to turn blue before he passed. That's how I knew his time was near. After passing, his face etc. was still a 'pasty', for lack of a better word, colour.

Actually, your face does turn blue when choked for a few, so yes (happened to my niece when she was CeCe's age - choked on food and was 1 minute from death.) But, I think he knew she turned blue because he strangled her.

That would be a good question to have a good answer to; unfortunately, it's hard to know without having research results on that specific product. Caffeine may increase pregnancy risks, but not at a much higher rate than expected and not consistently in studies. As with any ingestion in pregnancy, best to avoid anything not known to be safe and medically indicated.

I believe FHA loans require 3% down. You don't have to be a veteran. It can be your own money, a gift (from family or friend), or from DPA grant (down payment assistance which doesn't have to be repaid). It can also be a combination of those sources. People with less than stellar credit (lower credit scores) can qualify more easily for FHA loans, and sometimes the closing costs are covered for the buyer.

One downside of FHA loans is that they require you to pay monthly mortgage insurance premiums in addition to your regular payment. It can add a chunk to your monthly payment.

I agree, but I think the reason people ask is that if the monitor were black and white only, then they'd have easy and quick confirmation of him lying.

My understanding is that the monitors are color and the color shows with sufficient light. If the light is low, the view is more like B&W.

We keep saying he hated his life, but did he? After the killings he spent the night with their good friends, the Thayer’s. It’s like he planned to carry on as usual with his social life, only without his wife and kids. I think he thought he was going to get away with it. And maybe the reason he did it was because he didn’t want all his secrets to come out. He had an image to uphold, and he wanted to uphold it.

Right? It doesn't make sense to me, why choose strangulation over suffocation. It's very odd.

Let's look at the dates:
If due on 2/2/19, then conception would have been on 5/12/18, and she would have been 7-8 weeks at her ultrasound.
That's a good gestational age for an ultrasound, because it can confirm the due date (which determines the timing of other testing and management of complications) and know how many to expect (you don't want to delay finding twins if you can determine that early). My clinic always does ultrasound on the first pregnancy visit because of the value to managing pregnancy.
Let's look at Lupus in pregnancy:
Most pregnancies in women with lupus are normal and healthy. There is a higher than normal risk of complications (like preterm birth, preeclampsia, fetal death/miscarriage).
Infertility can be associated with lupus, but women with lupus can get pregnant. Plus, getting pregnant the first try is not uncommon -- no couple should try until they're ready to succeed!

I believe she told her friends also. Not sure I believe she would have really told the hairdresser though... It seems like if she knew he was cheating and she actually planned to leave, she would have told her friend more on their AZ trip. I think she told Nickole she was concerned but NOT that she was done and leaving...

Thank you @MerryB! I started to answer this but got distracted, and now Dr. Wander is here so I'll let her take the lead for that question.

Am I missing something? If SW had just strangled Bella she wouldn't be blue anyway. The body is still warm for up to 3 hrs. after death. So if he really did see her blue, then he must have killed her.

CW has probably watched too many cartoons. When deprived of oxygen, the bluish tinge is seen on the lips, fingernails. There's no way CW saw that on that little tiny monitor, even if it was in color.

@DrWander Welcome to WS! I've known several friends with Lupus over the years that had children and none mentioned difficulty getting pregnant and had normal pregnancies and deliveries. Can you speak a little about the claims that have been made regarding SW's pregnancies? Thank you in advance! Just trying to better understand.
