That's hard to watch. Squirting your kids is one thing, squirting them in the face and eyes seems to cross a line. All the while you are saying "this is why we have kids...."

I've got a dark sense of humor, and I tease, but this teasing seems cruel rather than dark.

I don't think the sprayer had a very 'sharp' spray because CeCe smiled and laughed, even when water hit her face. And she was the one opening her mouth wide, WANTING her Mom to spray water in her mouth.

I didn't see anything cruel or dark at all. The child was laughing and playing and never was upset or reacting poorly. She raised her shirt when she wanted water on her belly, then would open her mouth when she wanted water on her face. I see no cruelty or means at all. JMO

In Feb. of 2016, on Staten Island, a woman named Rebecca Cutler and her little girls were stabbed to death by Ms. Cutler's ex. He claimed he killed her to defend the little girls from her. He said he walked in while she was in the process of stabbing them and that he got the knife away from her and stabbed her with it to try to save them. He had a hung jury.

He was convicted of killing her (2nd degree murder) but the jury couldn’t decide on charges for the killing of the kids. He’s going to be retried on first degree murder charges for the kids.

he seems to me to be playing the part while there are witnesses (company). When you are married to a sociopath, they usually don't have the first clue, or care what to do as part of the family. They can play the part in front of witnesses. To get them to participate usually takes a fair amount of coaxing an coaching. this might seem like bossing. It is creepy to me the way he lurks behind the young child behind the door in the spray bottle video. SW has shown nothing but a doting mom who adores her kids. CW acts just like my ex did when we lived in CO. I swear that place is cursed. I feel that I got out just in the nick of time. I do feel he would have killed me eventually. It is difficult to get an understanding of family dynamics through video clips. But his distance and lack of spontaneous participation is a big tell about his social skills behind the scenes. He seems distant and removed and just lost - uninterested. seems like he did the bait and switch on her and she got stuck with a loser - a killer. She stood in his way - prob confronted him about the affair - and he got her and the kids out of his way. Typical narcissistic sociopath - violent only when you are in between them and their desire.

You know, not necessarily cursed, but there is one anomaly in CO. I did not want to mention it, but CO lies on an elevation, hence, less lithium in natural water. There are maps linking higher lithium level in water and soil to better emotional health. So while not cursed, CO might not be very healthy.

Actually I learned in many classes that forcing children to do things is not respectful. Having to kiss someone or give a hug. Being tickled and them asking you to stop.

It is one thing when the children are participating, Cece and Bella were not participating. It is obvious.

Children have the right to say “no”. Then they will say “no” to their peers are friends that pressure them. Otherwise they learn to be obedient even if they find something that does not feel right.

As the mother of three, grandmother of six and a retired teacher, I cannot emphasize enough how the way the chikdren were treated in the posted videos bothers me.

I agree he seems so stiff. Why wasn’t he outside with Cece during the squirt bottle video and why isnt there natural interaction on his part? Why is he always lurking? Why doesn’t he talk back and say “no she doesn’t want to do it Shannann”. I’m more “bossy” than my husband, but he doesn’t do what I say just because I say it. Yes It comes across like SW is bossy, but it was probably also exhausting for her to always feel like she had to coach him on how to be normal. JMO

SW may have used medical cannabis because she may have preferred it over pharmaceuticals that could have side effects. Early on I questioned if she really had been diagnosed with lupus because she seems to glow with good health in the videos I've seen. JMO

And that right there is the problem with auto-immune diseases. You can look fine and healthy, yet in so much pain. I know my daughter goes above and beyond to appear normal, when in fact she is in such pain.

I still think it was more spontaneous, but I’m open to it have been far more premeditated than that.

I don’t think that the affidavit stating the dates the way it did, necessarily has any meaning. They can prove that Shannan was killed on the 13th, but there is no proof as to if the kids were killed prior to, or at the same time. They simply don’t know, so putting the 12th in there, covers their bases.

Yes, I know. I am a mother and a grandmother. My experience is that all children love to be chased but Bella wasn't being chased, she was cornered and at the end was begging Daddy to open the door. In my experience no kid really enjoys being blasted in the face with water at close range and even at the pool will turn their face to avoid it.

I think what's disturbing me about the videos is they go on and on. What's the point? I know they can't be edited since they are live, but they can be shorter. I get a sense that she has a lot of stamina and energy and might not realize others don't have that much. Kind of reminds me the saying, "The party isn't over until someone is crying."

Did someone force him to open the door? He was their father. Their protector. And he failed.

Besides any VI, we are all in the same boat. We are trying to understand this horrendous crime, what was the trigger and how to identify those factors. SM allows us a peek inside this family/relationship dynamic (something, that in my opinion, should be private and known only to those close to us). It's natural to have different reactions to SM videos, etc. Please, lets keep in mind that the couple interviewed by the news, were neighbors and friends with SW and CW. They were torn apart when they learned/confirmed that CW had confessed to the crimes. Lesson to be learned: what you see is not what you get! My belief is that this site is to discuss the cases and explore different scenarios that might lead/help to unravel the truth, with the ultimate goal of seeing justice been served. I might not agree with every post, but I will definitively respect your opinion.

i agree the videos are really long... they drag on. I also don’t understand what’s the point of taking so many pictures of a seemingly unhappy event (referring to the Christmas one). I love pictures, but sometimes you have to know when it’s a bust and put the camera down. Kids didn’t want to sit on Santa’s lap. Oh well.

The kids are so so sweet though. I just want to hug them. Nothing can make me understand how he could do that to those innocent little girls. Makes me sick.
