I'm certainly not the moderator, but if a person comes on a thread, claims to be an insider, specifically says "ask me anything", paraphrased, and then won't answer the simplest questions based on that poster's declaratory statements, and then other ppl on the thread start rolling their eyes, I don't call that judgmental at all.

It's interesting how we each take the same data and interpret it differently. My take was different than yours. I felt they were poked in the chest for everything they said. If that was me, I would have run. In fact, when it started to be snarky (again, just my OWN feeling last night as I read all that..) I was wondering what happened to the normal objectivity I see displayed here. (Mostly).
Scroll and roll is good advice. This is a very heated thread sometimes!

I tried to watch that video; it was very uncomfortable. I did not watch to the very end. Two things I took away from what I saw (my own perception only, not necessarily fact, just my own interpretation..) 1. SW was an unhappy woman (through her eyes), and 2. The unspoken exchange between SW and her father got me thinking that there is a whole lot more about the unhappy couple that we (of course) don't know. I think her dad knows a whole lot.

On the other video..the pie in the eye thing.. Very hard to watch. I can only imagine the vibes going on there. Whew! Poor kids.. This is my own opinion, I am not victim bashing. I hope my mind stays open to waiting for the whole truth to come out.

One last thought..what happened to our poster who was hoping to be made a VI, who was very nervous about their identity being learned? If they bolted from here, I wouldn't blame them. A lot of judgmental posts were made. If they are around but not commenting, I just want to say I personally supported your right to voice your opinions, even if I might not agree with them. Just in case you're reading.

But they were just that opinions posted as fact. How can someone say 'There was absolutely no domestic violence' or the dead woman was a narcissist or 'I knew about the affair from the very beginning'.
No one knows what goes on inside another person's marriage. The facebook groups are full of people claiming that they know all about what an evil person the dead woman was, they skip over the part were he dumped his children in the oil and buried her in a shallow grave and just want to go on endlessly about what she was.
They call her fake even after they have seen him lie and act his way through 3 interviews, they say she forced him to perform for the cameras.
Was she still forcing his performance before the cameras when she was dead.
It seems to me he quite like performing, laughing and smiling when talking about his dead wife and children and lying about where they were.

Okay, just finished the Christmas video. It wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be. Yes, children are terrified of people dressed up like Santa--that's not shocking in the least. It seemed like this video was more for family, but I sensed that members of her team were on there, too.

The most shocking thing about that video was the fact that Santa only brought water bottles and slippers---pretty lame, Santa!

Well It was I who said "excruciating", maybe partly I was referring to my own boredom in watching it! That's the only one of her videos I've watched, I don't want to see those little kids and then think about what happened to them. So I'm outta here re her videos!!

In addition to a poll asking whether you guys lean more to towards premeditarion or “snapping”, I would ask do you guys think the girls were already dead when Shannan got home.

I think they were dead and I think he let her discover them dead... or perhaps she only found out about one of them. Maybe she went to Kiss one good night and then felt how cold she was and screamed for Chris to come help or call police. He says give me the phone and she does thinking he’ll call the police, but instead he puts it under the couch cushions, goes back in the room where SW is trying to perform CPR or check for a pulse and he strangles and kills SW there. I bet he wanted her to see the girls dead or at least find one of them dead and then realize what had happened as he choked the life out of her.

That’s just my theory because I think he wanted to inflict the most pain on her.

I haven't seen all of SWs videos but yes, she's controlling at times and puts down Chris. But on the other hand, he seems passive/aggressive and stands there like a stone. SWs videos were used for her to advance THEIR business. He was part of it by virtue that her earnings were paying for at least pre-school or Bella's new school (see Valentine's video - SW has heart bags of Thrive and is downcast. I think wearing a gray shirt and very little makeup. She mentions $1600/month for school or such).

Nothing is a soul-killer like a passive, stone-faced guy who has to be dragged everywhere. It is hard being forced to make decisions for everything. It is awful when your partner rains on your parade.

I'd like to make another point about the videos and children; children are natural actors.

When one of my daughters was about 6 she was outside on her bike. I was watching her from the kitchen window. I always watched her (that makes me a Dad, not a stalker! lol). As children do, she fell over and started to cry. I turned and hurried to the front door, and as I saw her from the living room window, I stopped. She looked around and then stopped crying. She stood up, brushed herself off, looked around again, and then got back on her bike. At that point I went out and said something like; are you okay sweetheart? She said something like; yeah, watch me daddy! And all was fine. She wasn't faking, it probably hurt and scared her, but when she saw there was no audience she got up and went back to riding. The performance was in case there was an audience and to get her sympathy and support. Nothing wrong with that. It's what children do. Likewise, so is much of what we see in the videos.

Before SM there were family photo albums and home movies. It was for select family and friends. Most of it was natural. SM is a much different animal, open not just to select family and friends, but to everyone, anytime.

I totally understand our (collective for most part I think) skepticism of someone claiming to be an insider before they've been verified. I actually was the first one I think to ask that this person to seek to get verified. However, I personally feel like Trinket did answer several questions of her (him?). The thread was moving incredibly fast. That, coupled with quite a few accusatory comments towards her/him would make it understandable IMO that all of the questions weren't yet being answered satisfactorily. Besides, I don't think the general tone was one that was accepting of the answers she/he had been giving. I think Trinket could have figured why answer any more questions if no one likes my answers.

ETA: Trinket, not Tinker... sorry all! I screwed up the name and that might be why people couldn't find past posts of theirs!

S/he indicated s/he was an insider who knew both CW and SW and was close to them "from the beginning." S/he said she had sought to be verified as an insider, but mods had not responded to the request yet. S/he said she didn't want there to be any chance that his/her identity might leak.

So, ISTM, s/he has to be very careful answering questions because certain knowledge might 'out' her identity.

She was working at a car dealership at that point I believe, and perhaps nannying a bit. IMO there’s definitely more to the story with that house. As you’ve suggested, 25 years old and newly divorced from a marriage that, in her words, she had to start all over from financially (see “My Purpose” video on her SM), plus not having had a long-standing career after an attempt at nursing school during her marriage, doesn’t seem to line up with building a $300,000 house.

Can someone direct me to where I can find the house online or where one can watch the segment on AB? Thanks!

I love that post. But it's not just children who look around for an audience! I've even caught myself, while with a friend, cussing when something happens, and then realized I'd never say that stuff outloud if I were alone!!
