I think I get it now...he was "stuck" with little kids, while she went off on "vacation". They were fussy, possibly cranky, after he had been having such a great time single, he just got a bit out of control...and of course, it was ALL HER FAULT! So, the anger built up, and he let go when she got home on her.

From all accounts I have seen and even SW and her parents he was a good father. Jmo if anything he was referred to as the calm one by SW. the children were cared for by him regularly . She stated she was the fiery one and him the calm one. Interested to see what fact or evidence made you come to this conclusion ?

No she does not strike me as someone who could be forced into something she didnt want. I was simply sharing the information I found while scrolling through her page. Also, as a woman who had a high risk pregnancy myself I can understand where it would be a difficult decision on whether or not to have another child. For me, it was a constant back and forth in my head between wanting another baby and not wanting to take the risk again. JMO

Forgive me if I worded my response ineffectively. I did not mean to imply that if you believe the state you have confirmation bias (as you’ve stated). I was speaking to those who have their minds made up and refuse to validate anything that does not fit their schema as false. Friends and family are biased, I think we all know that. I'm not saying it's a bad thing, it is just the way it is. People that know the parties are going to have a stronger alliance to one than the other and VI Trinket's statements and reactions to other posts reflect hers is with CW, IMO. Knowing someone for years and being able to reconcile the events that have occurred with the person you thought you knew doesn't happen easily. Look at Ann Rule's "The Stranger Beside Me." People have various types of relationships (albeit often one-sided) with sociopaths and psychopaths regularly.

Good points. However I don't think trinket is biased towards CW. I think she is presenting the facts as she sees them and although they may not always align with the majority of leanings here, its important to take them into consideration since there are three sides to every story. JUST MOO.

I have a question for any of the legal eagles. Does CW's confession cause a problem for his attorneys? I'm assuming, from all that I've read, that he wasn't represented when he made the confession. He only spoke with his Dad and his Dad is not an attorney. So, does the confession cause a problem and, if so, how much? Thanks.

His attorneys will want to confirm that his confession was not coerced and was made post-Miranda warnings.

Absent any valid constitutional challenges, his confession is admissible as an admission by a party opponent.

Even a "good" Father can lose it, with enough financial problems, who knows what else...was he possibly drinking too much that night? Did CeCe set him off with crying? All it takes is an Instant to go too far with frustration...and then, may as well blame SW for all of the problems and kill her as well.

He admitted he killed her. It would be ridiculous to say she placed the bodies there after she died. JMO

RBBM I couldn't agree more with this post. I can relate to that statement. Don't want to go into the details, but I know for a fact is not easy or quick to be as objective as you wish. It's an ordeal, you feel guilty, confused, angry, disappointed, torn apart during the first stages; and then when all the facts are known it's ten times worst.

VI'ers may come across as bias; but please; they have suffered a loss and/or they has been struck with the fact that someone dear to them has committed a crime.

what about performance wise? do PD's tend to be as flamboyant in their defence as private attorneys? I'm thinking OJ and CA cases here? Do you think the defenses of either of these cases would have been different if handled by a PD? Thanks!

No, IMO, I don't think PD's would get as "creative" as private attorneys.

I'm not a big court-watcher, but one thing to keep in mind that the OJ case was a Hollywood case, with a Hollywood defendant, and Hollywood lawyers. (And a weak judge, btw.) I wouldn't use that case as an example of real life.

Other court-watchers, feel free to give us your opinions.

To put it another way, from the Public Defender you can expect a vigorous defense, but not a circus.

I do believe we'll see more people appear that have vested interests in trying to change the perception of CW. You don't have to be employed by counsel to be working for the defense of someone you obviously care about.
