I tend to agree with you. I think that annihilators give the appearance of being “loving,” but in reality, there is something dark within them, something unseen.

I also agree that this didn’t come out of nowhere.

the most common factor in family annihilators, aside from male gender, is the need for power and control. power and control can be masked as concern, helpfulness, protection, etc. this is often seen as "loving" in our patriarchal society.

Just jumping off this post and not directed at you, (I'm not sure if you're indicating anything), but are most people always super polite with their spouses and kids? My mother is. But I'm not. I can be a yeller and impatient. And sometimes I say things that aren't nice. (Although I don't think saying you're not helpful in a video is rude). You know most people aren't perfect. I'm not. I can be a jerk with my loved ones once in a while. But I'm the first one EVERYONE in my family comes to for support and unconditional love.

I just look at her face and how she seems to look at her husband and kids for the most part with a lot of love.

Take this video of her birthday for example. It's her day and everyone is standing around singing happy birthday to her as they wait for her to blow out the candles.

But all she has eyes for are her little girls. Just beaming at them enjoying themselves. It's not about her, which would be the case if she was a narcissist as some have suggested:

That's different, then. Usually you can't keep your house, Its kind of like giving up everything and starting over. I know I had the choice and wanted to save my house so that's why I did not file chapter 7. Maybe their dept wasn't that much. Otherwise I don't know how in the world they could have made the payments on the house.

We filed ch7 and had no problem reclaiming our house and vehicle.

With every case I read about and follow, I detach. I cannot go there and imagine them as my own child or sister etc... For me I just see it as a puzzle. Anything else and I'd be a basket case. Edit to Add: I mean no disrespect to friends or family it's just how I handle it.

I know exactly what you mean. I've got to get myself back to the analytical box that suits me better, i really don't try to think gruesome thoughts, just in the last couple of days, well its been hard to go back. The only thing I can think of is if he used the pillows to smother any of them. Maybe it was a combination of strangling and suffocation. Victims of strangulation thrash violently, due to the intense pain and desperate need to breathe, maybe that's why all the bedding was on the floor and he just never got around to picking it all up. But it would seem like there must be something on those pillowcases and the sheet that he threw away. Jmo

Woah. I’m sorry I’m just popping back in. You have experienced this with a loved one? I’m just so sorry and can imagine this brings back real trauma for you.

Yeah, the trash bags comment had me reeling. My brother was beat to death when I was 5, and biological mom & her bf buried him in the backyard in two black trash bags. His body was so badly decomposed when police found him a month later, that they couldn’t tell cause of death. Her bf served time, but Utah had crap laws back then and both he & my biological mother are out in public living like normal people. Biological mother still to this day tells all the same lies. She said she found God in prison, but that’s crap, & she’s still just as shittay of a person as she was back when she sat on the couch & smoked a cigarette when it all happened.

I’ve tried to honestly keep an open mind about this case, but CW has the same dead cold eyes look that my biological mother has.

Thanks for asking for clarification. I essentially meant “following” but since he deactivated his FB page I wasn’t sure if a person w/a deactivated FB account can still “follow” in the literal sense. Plus I don’t know if he took a break from visiting FB altogether or just having his own page. In hindsight “ Tracking” was a poor substitute word. Should have said if he was still ______. Heck, every word I think of sounds inflamatory now and that wasn’t my intent. Let’s go with “If he saw her facebook post”. Does that work?
