Generally speaking, the contact lenses would be confiscated upon booking and the lenses, case & solution would have to be security cleared which takes some time - CW may get them back but it wouldn't have been in time for either of his court appearances so far. (This is assuming he had someone to bring his extra lenses + supplies to the jail after his booking, which I guess they did because someone got him his glasses).

Sometimes I wear my contacts and sometimes I wear my glasses. (I've never been to jail, just speaking in general)

Lol. That's pretty normal. My point is that I know for a fact that some defense attorneys will instruct their clients to wear eyeglasses because it softens their appearance.

He looked well groomed, clean shirt, combed hair. JMO
snipped by me in relation to "primped for the interview"

I just have to say that he seems to always look like that - I think hair like that you don't even need to comb, so short. Beard - looks the same. Can't say he's clean-shaven for the camera or anything noticeable on facial hair.

Maybe a tie & a suit would have been a style departure to evidence getting primped? Now that would have been a striking difference JMO

Thank you. I’m glad somebody said it. We’ve gotten to the point where we’ve lost all common sense and need a verb-word marketing campaign and gimic to live.
Exactly! I wouldn’t be surprised if Defense throws it out there it was the chemical in those patches that got in his bloodstream and caused aggression. They will throw things out there hoping one sticks with a juror to cause reasonable doubt. Look at Jose Baez and the Casey Anthony trial.

My son is a personal trainer you don’t need Thrive to get in that kind of shape. It’s called working out hard along with a good diet.

Yes. Steroid abuse is more obvious I think. I've had two cases with opposing parties who abused steroids (Both are or were MMA fighters).
These are violent people who have trouble controlling emotion. Usually people who use steroids are professional athletes/fighters of some sort and the constant level of working out brings a ton of pain.
The steroids seem to cause maybe a lot of agitation? So in both cases I have been involved with, the steroid abusers were also abusing other drugs and alcohol.

One has a pacemaker now. Congestive heart failure from years of steroid and alcohol abuse I guess. He's in his 30's!

I don't see signs of that in the little we've seen or know about CW. Just looks like he was working out a lot.

@wattsgoingon - how's the book you purchased?[/QUOTE]

Hey, I finished it yesterday in one sitting. Pretty insightful, some details I hadn't already known but also a fair bit of conjecture from the author. Slightly distracted by terrible spelling errors and basic mistakes throughout but there we are. Things such as 'Deeter' instead of 'Dieter' throughout. However.... a worthwhile read and I would recommend it to anyone interested in the case. Pretty short so easy to devour.

Edit - sorry, messed up the quote thing - can't seem to fix it.

Ok. I rest my case. Is there any logical explanation for the lack of puffy/red eyes from the anguish and terror of knowing your family is missing and possibly in danger? I can't wrap my head around that detail.

EBM: to correct typo. For the record: English is my second language, please bear with me.

Yes your absolutely right it is known steroid use causes aggression and violent tempers. I’ve seen it first hand.

I feel bad for family and friends from both sides.

For anyone who loves the deceased.

But let's be frank: It is a human reaction to feel empathy most strongly when we witness grief and love.

We have seen her brother and father reacting as normal loved ones would to such horror, just abject pain and sorrow. We react back to that.

We've also read their constant FB posts of love, gratitude, pain and pleas to the public to also keep the family of the killer in their prayers and to be supportive.

We saw them and their extended family at the funeral, bowed in agony over the caskets.

We heard the brother, father and mother's letters to their dead family.

We've seen the Thayers weeping in confusion and pain and betrayal.

We've seen NA weeping in horror.

The human mind and heart react to what we witness. It's natural to feel for them first and more powerfully.

But one can only imagine that his loved ones are unable to function at this point at all. Not to make public statements or appear in public or cope with life. Their situation is among the worst, actually -death of loved ones but their own flesh and blood stands accused.

Mind boggling.

Casey Anthony’s chair at the defense table was lowered so she could look smaller/petite.

Crayons/highlighters are given because a pen or pencil can be used to harm self or others.

I remember that so well.

Yes I snipped that out intentionally because it didn't relate to the OP and pinning down the point at hand . Sometimes on here, not your post in partic, but in general it's like trying to pin down a jumping flea.

In other posts previously, threads 1-10 I have agreed that his face is not displaying the signs of a late night or stress even tho my assumption was he was guilty of charges, back then. However at the same time I also noted that young, fit people often do not display puffy eyes, facial strain in the same way as older people, 24 hrs later.
( IDK if I was trying to be too thorough or if I'm just not adversarial enough to dismiss nuance. )

I was talking about this with my ex. About how family annihilators who conceal and don't kill themselves usually come from disordered families.

My ex (who comes from such a family) said, "Well it makes sense this way. If he came from enmeshment he could also be enmeshed with his children. If he felt his own identity annihilated his annihilation of his kids would actually be an annihilation of himself."

It's an interesting possibility to me. Matches with so much I've read about similar cases.

Good morning, everyone.

If Trinket is still around and willing to answer more questions, I have a few. If not, totally understand.

1. Did Chris have any buddies of his own? That weren’t connected to Shanann or Thrive?

2. Did Chris ever live in the house in Belmont with Shanann? Or did they wait until marriage to live together?

3. Do you know anything about the marriage proposal? How he did it?

Many thanks in advance.
