Well, it makes sense that he would have to conceal them. I wonder if that's also what he used the sheet for, that was found in the field.

I don’t think we can trust it as fact. So many other news reports spoke of the neighbors camera without mentioning C.W. loading bags. This Fox News one linked here is the first I’ve seen mention it, and why would they be right and everyone else wrong? Seems more like a mistake in reporting.

My husband and I make fun of each other in public all the time. He is British and sarcastic and it's fun.

I have been in an emotionally abusive relationship. Gaslighted. Told I was stupid and ugly and worthless at every turn. My credit cards canceled while I was out so that I would be embarassed when I tried to pay for something. Pointing out embarassing things about my body and our sex life in public. Complaining that I wasn't dead yet.

There were certainly no loving embraces, no teary FB videos about how much he loved me, no wide smiles as we posed together in fun and exotic locations.

I get that not everyone has that ribbing kind of relationship and therefore it is hard to understand. But to refer to it as "abusive" is going too far, IMO, and does nothing to bring awareness to relationships that truly are dangerous.

Something I am hesitant to post and hopefully it is not TOS adverse, but what if what was reported that CW choked a mistress during sex, what if this happened between SW and CW that morning and it went to far and CW snapped?

If that's what happened, CW could have used the Robert Chamber defense of rough sex (Preppie Murder in Central Park). He didn't have to kill the kids.

Watching local Denver ABC news and they just said the court has yet to grant prosecution’s request for CW’s cheek swab, fingerprints and hand prints/measurements. The wheels of justice apparently really do grind slowly. Is it standard for a Colorado court to take days to grant that kind if request, or might they actually deny the request?

Yes, the way the posts are reading now, it sounds like them being in trash bags is a fact.

Yeah, the trash bags comment had me reeling. My brother was beat to death when I was 5, and biological mom & her bf buried him in the backyard in two black trash bags. His body was so badly decomposed when police found him a month later, that they couldn’t tell cause of death. Her bf served time, but Utah had crap laws back then and both he & my biological mother are out in public living like normal people. Biological mother still to this day tells all the same lies. She said she found God in prison, but that’s crap, & she’s still just as shittay of a person as she was back when she sat on the couch & smoked a cigarette when it all happened.

I’ve tried to honestly keep an open mind about this case, but CW has the same dead cold eyes look that my biological mother has.

That is exactly what I was saying in my post.

Actual emotionally abusive relationships are dangerous. I am not goung to be convinced that SW was abusive to her husband based on a few cheŕry picked Facebook videos and I think it is a disservice to women who really ARE being abused to compare.

And men - men are abused too.

Thank you! And I appreciate all the sweet comments. It’s a really effed up story, one I rarely tell. It happened 26 yrs ago, so I’ve had lots of therapy, my life is pretty darn good, and I’ve tried my best to forgive them both. I have two kids of my own, & as a mother I just can’t even fathom how one gets that far gone. My therapist told me long ago “you can’t understand, because your brain thinks logically, so it won’t ever make sense to you because you don’t think like they do.”

Im sorry if I took the board a different direction, I didn’t foresee me outing my history. I saw the trash bags comment though and was like nope my mind is made up. I’ve seen rage, and I just don’t think he snapped. His actions afterwards say otherwise.

There’s no way that this request will be denied. It’s vital that it be done. There really isn’t a rush here, as the evidence that has been collected isn’t going anywhere. This case is already primed to take a long time to even reach trial, so it’s even less of a priority. The judge will rule eventually.

I agree. Context is everything and we just don’t have that here.

Plenty of spouses rib their significant other in public. I mentioned it before, but my grandmother does the same thing to my grandfather, but it is on a complete other level from what we see in these videos. It’s extreme, but playful.

What we see here is incredibly mild by comparison, and we simply don’t see a clear example of SW “emasculating” C.W.

Nagging, being bossy, maybe. But so what?

So what? Shanann and the girls were murdered at the hands of her husband. It could be part of the motive. Chris may have had a different
feeling about what is emasculating or not.

That's what I'm thinking. It's not a huge deal, but without links all kinds of rumors fly. Like the nut allergy incident turning into a big discussion about how ice cream with three different nuts were given to one of the children. It was hard to scroll through all those posts!

If they were strangled in their beds, wouldn't their bedsheets be messed up??? You cant scream while been suffocated, maybe grunting and gasping for air and kicking your legs. Wondering if the forensic evidence will show who's dna is under the babies nail.

And sorry - unless I don't understand anything about strangulation- there would be stench. The sphincters loosen (sorry for details). So did he take them somewhere outside, and then strangled? Next to the oil? How could he could get rid of the smell if three people were strangled in the house?

I just realized that the same applies to SW - if she did it, as he said, there would have been the smell... they had rugs in the house, no way can you get rid of it in the morning.

He must have taken them somewhere.

Emotionally abusive relationships are dangerous. I sure had no problem obtaining an emergency protection order for my daughter and granddaughter based on emotional abuse conveyed on social media and in texts. It is still in effect more than a year later.

I think we can only fully trust official documents, and even those are subject to change. Everything else is a big maybe.
