If he had asked her lots of times for a separation, why didn't he just leave?
Who’s to say he wasn’t trying to leave that day. I don’t know. These are questions unfortunately only he can answer.

Then he was a weak, cowardly man. His helplessness didn't prevent him from having affairs. Surely one of those partners would have taken him in and helped him.

I don't disagree. But it's possible the work AP was also married so maybe not so willing to take him in. I think he is all woe is me and thinks everything he dislikes about his life is everyone else's fault, primarily SW's fault.

Even with a “high risk “ pregnancy ? The first trimester is most dangerous . Imo I feel the marriages was struggling then . But I could be wrong
Yes because it was the only time she could go most likely. Bella was starting kindergarten and this was probably only big stretch of time she could travel. She probably asked her dr if it’s alright and they approved.

Oh I have looked at many pictures, videos and comments, of which there are hundreds. One thing though, I have seen not ONE friend on all those posts that is not somehow related to a MLM business.
There are a lot of them, but I can’t fault it. They all seem so loving and supportive of one another, trying to live their best lives, encouraging each other to be the best they can be. Whatever gets you through the night. But there are some who aren’t Thrive related, some who have known SW since childhood, and also, there are family posts, father, brother, cousins, distant cousins.

OR, AND, you take a break and come back with a fresh mind and genuinely want to see what folks think re: CW, you are bashed THE SAME WAY they’ve been crying about that they have been.
This isn’t was WS used to be about, sadly.
Personally, I bash opinions that are not based on evidence, not simply because they differ from my own.

If you can point to actual evidence, and then say “I believe this, because of this evidence” then I take absolutely no issue with that.

If you have to ignore evidence, and make wild assumptions based on speculative and arbitrary information, that I do take issue with. That is what I attack.

If you have to make assumptions based on assumptions, this is flawed logic. The more assumptions you make, the further you tend to stray from the truth.

I could certainly be more tactful in my rebuttals though.

Which has nothing to do with the majority of the speculation at hand.
Of course it does. If he is charged with so many crimes, how did he do them all, why did he cover up forensics, and why did he desecrate the very bodies of the children he said he killed his wife over.

IMO I can’t think of a reason she would want a divorce. Her company lifestyle of luxurious trave, cars a nice home not only depended on that image but gave her validation and constant attention for it. She had been through “a horrible divorce “ before which led to her depression ..
Now she has children that she can’t possibly manage with her career alone. Should she want to possibly entrust the AP person in that role if she knew of one.? SW had a reason to be upset . She never felt he had game to find someone else . CW seemed to have done a majority of the housework after working a 40 week. He was used to managing that part imo . No way would She want to go back to nc and start all over in humble beginnings . I don’t think custody would allow that since judge would look at stability if school and friends of children . She was the one in my opinion losing everything .
C.W. did do housework even though FB posts claim it was SW

Please share theories in 12 words or under.

In no particular order:
* Covered up accidental/neglectful killing of a child while SW in AZ
* First killed SW in bed in fear of infidelity discovery, then kids
* Feeling trapped in financial problems and pressure of fake SM life
* Wanted greener pastures, frustrated by not living up to expectations

(Not saying any of these reasons are valid reasons for murder - I hope that is understood!)

Your turn. Obviously these short snippets cannot cover every detail of a theory - but, rather, just share an "elevator pitch" version.

Any skin color other than my granddaughter’s own natural beautiful color scares the bejeezus out of me. I never want to see it again!
I know, it is scary.

Again, as someone on the autoimmune spectrum, I find it awful that some people my speculate/insinuate that she might have been exaggerating her medical conditions. Who is anyone to know what kind of pain and challenges someone else experiences? Nobody knows another person’s pain.
and unfortunately it is far too common, very sad and short sighted.

And you don't think that speaking about it not even two days after they were supposed to be missing was a little premature. Notice he said 'I will probably sell the house'. Not we.

I agree with you.

Well, several family members knew, as well as a co-worker at SW’s mother’s salon. I think it’s fair to say it was at least discussed (perhaps not agreed to) before the night of the murders. MOO
I tried this on another post, but it went downhill. It’s emotional, I get it, but I’m honestly trying to understand.
So if those are facts, then why would SW be so enraged on that early morning.... if she had heard of CW separation wishes “several times” prior.
That is the point I am trying to understand myself today as I try to reopen my mind.

In hopes to bridge the divide again, may I point out that I do not believe the vast majority here who have stated, as I have, that a jury could likely convict on the evidence we have thus far do not in any way mean he is done, should be strung up, and throw away the key. It is merely an intellectual excerise to point out that IF there were no more significant evidence found and revealed, he would appear guilty beyond a reasonable doubt. I absolutely want and look forward to a fleshing out of the case and more evidence coming to light. He absolutely deserves a fair trial with all pertinent evidence having been gathered and properly analyzed. I just think the difference between us lies in that many, many murder cases have been considered fairly adjudicated yet found guilt with this much or even less evidence. It is a snapshot view we have right now. I do find, however, that there is some irony to the idea that cause of death and DNA/trace evidence could be lost for good because C.W. and no one else decided to dump the bodies in crude oil and let all bodies remain hidden and decomposing, thereby irrevocably damaging evidence of who did it, for as long as he could. So yes, I do find it perplexing to say we cannot disbelieve his most recent version of events unless the physical evidence proves it when he tampered significantly with that evidence on purpose. But just my 2 cents.
Are we in a canoe by ourselves today?

I'm not up on this psychology lingo, but "learned helplessness" to me implies that someone taught him to be helpless. Is that it? He wasn't helpless until someone made him that way?

Well yes, and I'm repeating what another poster said may be part of his issues and these are opinions only. Learned helplessness (dictionary.com)- a condition in which a person suffers from a sense of powerlessness, arising from a traumatic event or persistent failure to succeed. It is thought to be one of the underlying causes of depression.

With all respect, no one is getting bashed here. There is no poster bashing going on, which is what you make it sound like. Not agreeing with the content of a post or an underlying but vague theme is not "bashing" a poster.

IMO and based on own personal experience in this SM world, sending the AP a message (albeit not specified by name or hey woman, back off my man), and to CW how much she wants their family in tact.
You even stated he deleted his FB because of her messages of this kind, right?
What is your opinion now as to why he deleted his accounts, has it changed now? Not snarky, wondering, for real.
Glad to see you back hugs.
Hello, I’m a little confused on the question so I’ll
Do my best. My opinion was he deleted it because of the lovey posts even when she knew there were
Problems.

It doesn't? I am here to figure out WHY and also how he did what he is charged with.

Getting to the WHY takes some messy discussions sometimes. If we knew the answer, then all speculation would be directly on point. But since we don't know and are figuring it out as we go, it will be a mess. What other approach is there?

Thanks. I hope someone isn't blaming Shan'nan for his own hopelessness, if that is something he permitted to exist inside of himself.
