Why the bed torn apart? Certainly he could have gotten a bottom sheet from a cupboard instead of from a bed
They didn’t seem to have a lot of stuff. I bet they only had one set!

Gitana1 seems very intelligent, very qualified, and very well-informed to me. I'm glad she expressed this opinion so it could be considered and explored.
YES, and she clearly stated it as opinion and not fact. Moreover, other attorneys here have said this kind of thing can happen. I am not understanding the bashing nature of some of these posts. There have been several now. Can't we disagree without the bashing of a verified attorney here?

Interesting. JM has made me love the idea of gas can evidence. It could be that the truck was low on gas and he didn’t want to stop anywhere - a la JA - and up with video and financial records of it.
I wonder if the gas can was part of his equipment he's required to carry in his truck for work? Also, many HOA's are very strict that nothing is allowed in the front yard, nothing, idk thinking outloud.

Per article, it is amazing to me that the source close to CW needs to remark that after having been arrested and in jail for a little while, he is depressed and despondent, with the gravity of it all sinking in, according to the source. If they wanted us to believe CW's story, he would have been this way from the very beginning...when the children who were his life were murdered almost in front of him and he went nuts and killed their mother and his unborn child. They just need to follow this article up with any of the CW media interviews. Where was the despondency and grief???
Exactly. No sign of grief whatsover when he knew his wife and children were dead. Once he is caught, he's depressed. 1+1=2  MOO

  • He did not work all day. NUA contacted him around 12 pm and he arrived home sometime around 2 after she informed him she was calling police.
  • She and CW had already mentioned selling the home, so it is wrong to assume that she would have reacted to that when she already knew about it. Same goes for the separation.
  • She wasn't losing HER income. If anything, it may have increased.
  • How does CW leaving her ruin her image? Seems to me that it says much more about him.
  • He had his freedom to gain. Freedom from a marriage he had no respect for, freedom to be with his AP and freedom from the future financial obligations he faced if he did what most normal human beings would do in that situation, which would be to simply file for divorce.
MOO
Bravo! As always, you're most astute, and it's very well stated.

You cannot have it both ways. She cannot be this poor woman who was afraid of losing support and now he would not have to pay.
It is one or the other.
And he did not only lie about hiding the bodies. He lied about his affair too, he lied about knowing where they were.
He did not confess to anything until LE had located SWs body and traced the AP.
She would lose her financial security in my opinion . I believe Level is a big part of that . On paper she may have juggled the numbers to go under his name to stack her rank . This is quite common does not make her a murderer . But her income on the divorce worksheet may appear she is better off than she is . On her Social Media she states CW won his VIP car status. With his introvert personality and work schedule my guess is those were her sells. What would happen to the money on a pyramid level pay to her rank without him?

It to me happened from her fear of losing everything. She found out about AP. She reacted in the worst way ever by taking the one thing she could do to hurt him. She was losing her home, her income, her security, her image . He was moving on by separation. . He had zero to gain by her murder. No life insurance, no alimony he owed, and Colorado divorce laws distribute fairly.

But why then would he remove all of the bodies? To preserve her reputation as a "good mother" as he stated? Why on earth would you still care about the reputation of a person person who killed your own flesh and blood - the little girls who were your world? Just to punish and hurt you! He stated that he wanted the seperation (what indicates he wasn't probably feeling much love for her anymore) and he went into a rage(!!) killing but after that he decided to cover her crime so people would not think bad about her. Really this makes absolutly no sense. Ask yourself: would you do this for your husband/wife after he/she had done this to your innocent children?

Yes, he actually has a stellar reputation if you look him up.
The Judge, the DA, and the PD (Megan Ring is our new State PD) all have great records. It's going to make for an interesting case.

When considering what @gitana1 and others of us have stated, people need to understand that those that have worked in the field understand there are things that are not illegal that are done on the regular. It is simply the way it often works. As the world becomes more connected via the internet, the presence of influencers in all matters grows. Considering what this country has just witnessed with regard to national politics you would think people would be more aware of the reality that the times are changing.

I disagree and in fact I am very surprised that a Verified Attorney would start such rumours without a shred of evidence.

Gitana is a very well spoken person, she even stated it is her opinion, which as a verified person she probably doesn't need to do. She provides insight into the inside workings of the law a d trying cases. There is not a more careful, concise person than Gitana. Those of us who don't work in the legal system rely on her to give us the framework for how things work.
We are free to believe or discount what any verified person posts. Just as they are free to post their opinions

Yep. I'm sure most people are depressed when they're arrested. Jail isn't supposed to be fun.

I have had about ten years intensive experience with attorneys and the legal system (state and Federal), as a plaintiff in a civil suit. I saw lies, corruption (even of court employees), and manipulation. During those ten years I never encountered one honest, professional attorney. on either side. I saw The Rules of Civil Procedure, court rules, and laws violated with impunity. I have since learned my experience was not uncommon. So, IMHO, the Legal System needs to be doubted, questioned, and closely observed. Kudos to Gitana!
Yes! Kudos to Gitana.....our VA! She weighs in on so many cases here with her caring and expertise. I can't tell you how much I look forward to and appreciate her posts!

If that were the case then he would have to pay child support.

And I imagine that is a very, very tiny percentage that actually get disbarred as a result of rule breaking....reminds me of insider trading.

The vast majority of cases are for mismanagement of client funds. There are rules about retainers and trust accounts that must be filed. The bar cares a lot about not commingling and keeping meticulous records.

There's a lot of leeway about your professional conduct outside of Court. Just based on what my own clients tell me about their previous lawyers or their tax lawyer or their divorce lawyer I imagine the state bar associations are flooded with "complaints" from unhappy clients about probably perfectly fine lawyers. Clients always think your rates should be lower and the work should be done faster. So for the state bar associations to skim through what are just disgruntled clients (mad more about their situation than their lawyer's performance) to pick out the real ethical lapses is hard.

This one is MSM if it helps
Family friend talks about seeing Chris Watts and his girls just days before the murders

@mtnlites , @JudgeJudi or others. Is this video against TOS? Let me know please :)

I had links but when I started reading mtnlites post, I smacked my forehead because I remembered we shouldn't use links. I've always followed trials and have never had to worry about this sort of thing before. Try as I may, I keep forgetting.

Go back to your post and delete the link.

The only thing I found odd about this wasn't til the end, when Bella stands up, points, and says "NO!"
Management should not allow kids to use those fountains if little girls use them that way all the time. It could attract pedophiles around there who view it in a sexual way. Just saying.

Although already mentioned, I find it so odd that CW was wearing a shirt he proudly said SW bought for him. Who could put on a shirt someone gave them who just killed their children???? I don't buy that for a second! IMO he wore that shirt because he thought he looked hot in it and it showed off his physique.

Respectfully, even if we SWignore the mountain of circumstantial evidence post-murder that points solely to CW as the murderer in the house, I think there is credible argument on both sides that they each had a ton to lose in a divorce, and that divorce very rarely results in murder. There is a reason, IMO, the family annihilator studies are so fascinating...because you rarely can find good reason in their commission nor prior evidence that would be committed.
Well said. Also, in killing SW, he also killed Nico, the unborn child. What are the odds you would have both partners react by killing, in a rage?
