Different doctors often tell you conflicting and confusing things when you are dealing with fertility issues. I only had one tube, and I was told everything from 'No Problem, you can get pregnant with no problem' to ' good luck, that cuts your chances way down' ...to 'better get on the adoption waiting list, you aren't getting any younger...'

Absolutely. And it's entirely possible that she saw more than one doctor. Doctor's opinions are just that - opinions. Many people seek 2nd opinions or even 3rd opinions. One doctor may have told her she couldn't get pregnant, another could have told her she shouldn't get pregnant. We have no idea how many doctors she saw or what she was told. MOO

I think it built up a little more each day - "I want OUT." He wants to get on with it -- "It's finally my time to call the shots, and I deserve it. Now."

just wanna say how unfortunate it is that chris watts is still controlling the narrative and put a perposterous lie out there that shan'ann killed the girls and he then killed her in a fit of rage.
this then allows the exploration and critical picking apart of a loving pregnant woman who was snuffed out by the said narrator.

it must be so dreadful for shan'anns loved ones to have to hear "this alternate scenario" and the air it breathes.
its his final nasty self indulgent kicker that will now keep on kicking until proven in a court of law. even then.....the seed of doubt has been sown.

Not me. Research and opinions on parenting are varied and change A LOT. I don’t see any red flags from SW. But we are only seeing snippets. We don’t have a real picture of the lives of those girls. There’s so much judgment of parents online and there’s no one “right” way to raise a child, no matter how many people tell you their way is right.

Does anyone know why SW and the babies stayed for 5 or 6 weeks in NC? That is a long time. I know they were staying with family. I wonder how often Sw and CW stayed in contact during that period?

The point that some of these people are trying to make, is that these social media posts somehow indicate that she could be the murderer of her children.

Others are trying to show that these videos provide some sort of motive for CW’s crimes.

I firmly believe that both groups are dead wrong.

My Dad had lots of good advice, but one of the wisest things he told my siblings and me was that familiarity breeds contempt.

I've seen several people taken down in life because they were judged by what they innocently and naively shared with others, even when what they shared wasn't "bad", it just rubbed someone the wrong way, made them jealous, etc. Who knows?

I think the truth is, we can never be sure how information we share about ourselves will be viewed by others. I think social media has made this worse, because the audience is so much larger. JMO.

And there are variations of all those. Some woman can easily get pregnant but are told they should not. Some can easily get pregnant but can’t stay pregnant. We have no idea what SW was told, but once again we have zero evidence that she was not told some combination of these things. Jmo.

It’s now a Remembrance Page, so no one is in control of it once this is done UNLESS she chose a “legacy contact” before her death. (You can do this in settings, you can also choose for your account to be deleted after your death if you so wish)

==But== even if she chose a legacy contact, they are very limited in what they can and can’t do, and they cannot remove content.

Can I add or remove a piece of content from a memorialized Facebook account?

Once an account is memorialized, content can't be removed from it. If the person added a legacy contact to their account, the legacy contact can do things like:

• Change the person's profile picture and cover photo.
• Write a pinned post on the timeline.

She said she joined support groups but doesn’t mention treatment she sought for any of it. Is she implying Thrive fixed it or lying about having illness. I’m seeing a pattern of her illness disappearing with her success. Which makes me doubt it. Maybe CW quit wearing the lupus bracelet bc he found out she was not sick imo

Sorry but i am seeing 180 deg from you, re this video of Shan'nan on lupus day. She said at first she thought she might die of it, per google. I just don't see anything ominous about this video. many people get a lot happier and stronger once they get a firm diagnosis to deal with. Imo

As with all the videos, I will not watch. But no, she was repeating what her doctor told her, probably. In my 20+ years sinces lupus diagnosis, I've had plenty of doctors tell me direct opposite of what the previous doctor told me. I was told I had 5 years to live, next doctor said 10.... I am still here. I was told I couldn't have children, well, I could get pregnant just fine, just miscarried them all. Every single case of lupus is different, but doctors give a "one size fits all speech".

I absolutely agree with you. What is happening here is a prime example of that, although this is far more extreme than most.

I was addressing the quoted post that said (paraphrasing) that the TO pics did not equate to inappropriate parenting & I explained why I felt differently. I also stated it was my personal opinion based on my professional knowledge and current AACAP research, and you could take it or leave it.

To be clear, I grew up with spankings & that’s definitely now looked down upon (though plenty of people still do it). I’m not suggesting that anyone who disciplines their children in a way I disagree with is more likely to murder them, which is what I feel like some of you are taking my previous post to mean.

What I am looking at is much more complicated. (Disclaimer: my mind is not made up yet, as I am looking at all possibilities & using my observations & the little information we have available to us to form my opinion).

I’ve noted in many of SW’s posts & videos that she portrays herself as a good parent who is dealing with an ungrateful child/children. The child is either directly or indirectly asking for nurturance & their mother attempts to provide it (sometimes—I also see incidents were it is refused). When that nurturance is somehow rejected, the child is cast as “bad” or “ungrateful.” The parent then withholds affection or even becomes angry with the child.

An example: The Santa video, where Bella & CeCe are scared & indirectly ask for nurturance in their own way, are refused it by their mother. CeCe is hysterical & is ignored. Bella is hesitant and clingy but is made to interact with Santa. She does not enjoy it, and expresses that to her mother (which is entirely appropriate for a child that age to express her autonomy). Her mother then casts Bella as “bad” or “ungrateful” by repeatedly calling her The Grinch.

Does this mean she killed her children? No. Does it raise red flags for me & any other poster here with a psychological background? I believe so.

CeCe was not close to hysterical. Shanann not once called her child ungrateful or bad. CW participated in the whole thing and has not once faced any criticism from those of you making insinuations about Shanann's character and propensity for violence based on this evidence that THEY weren't perfect parents.

These attempts to connect her to the murders of her children via a couple videos that show parenting some disagree with is, with respect, nonsense, IMO. Not one thing in any of this shows her to be an abusive, neglectful or angry parent.

She's just not perfect all the time.

Thanks, I'm familiar with how this works. IIRC, several things from her facebook were removed before it was memorialized.

This is a prime example, and it is extreme, JMO. I've never seen this happen to a deceased person before, not to mention one who is a victim of murder.
