Perhaps the Prosecution could pick up some partial prints from his drinking cup, food tray, books or magazines he might handle.
That's what I think but he's not allowed reading material in his cell. He might be able to have reading material the one hour a day he's allowed out of his cell.

Jumping off your post. Those words, this has to stop, have haunted me. That was the only interview I watched. After it ended, I cried, and told the SO that he killed them. I know I'm not the only one who said those words after just one interview, many mutual friends said the same.

However, I am open to hearing all sides, all theories....a few I've seen are pretty far fetched, but some may have some merit. Bottom line though, he DID confess, so he is at least guilty of two murders. I believe he also killed the girls, but, throw those theories out, let's hear them!

Mooooooo
I first heard of her missing from a mutual friend on FB and started following along from day one. After I watched his interview, I said he killed them to hubby. I also don't believe for one second SW hurt her children. I'm also on the train of a family annihilator. I think he was over being a husband and father. He enjoyed his time away from them and having freedom. MOO JMO IMO

In one of the interviews, didn't he also start to say, "She wouldn't let me..." and his voice trailed off?
IIRC, it was "She barely let me..."

Yep, it was as if he was already “cleaning house”. No pun intended.

Good thought. It could be part of psychological distancing between him and Shanann. It could be trying to close off that part of his life that was a family man.

Wasn't there a family friend who was reported as saying that Shanann had told her CW had seemed a bit distant from her and the girls for some weeks prior to the murders, less hugging with her and less affectionate toward the children?

I believe CW killed them all. I just want to know why he did it, even if it will never make sense. What makes a man do this?

I don't think we'll ever find out. As far as testifying goes, I think he's damned if he does and damned if he doesn't.

Nothing makes a person murder. It's a personal choice.

He could have remained faithful, showing respect and trustworthiness to his wife and children, but instead he chose an affair and to murder his family.

He could have admitted his infidelity, begged forgiveness and tried to work things out, but instead he chose to murder his family.

He could have moved on and lived a life that might not have been as comfortable as he had hoped, but instead he chose to murder his family.

He could have had his bags packed and walked out the door as soon as she walked in, but instead he chose to murder his family.

I read that he requested to speak to his dad before confessing and it said dad was already at the police station therefore he spoke to dad while at the police station ?
Would this conversation have been recorded ?
What's everyone's thoughts on this.

All I can say is that someone was looking down on NUA that afternoon because LE had already arrived by the time CW drove up. Who knows what would have happened if he asked her to go into the house with him.
{{{shudder}}}

I doubt it was recorded

Yes, I believe so. It seemed like he was trying hard for the "right" words that wouldn't make him sound guilty, yet IMO some things were popping out of his mouth inadvertently that may have been uttered or in his mind during the actual murder.

I think not recorded... and dad's idea of an out on killing the 2 children. I believe his dad told him 'you just can't say you killed the girls'... whatever you do or say now.

Thanks! I knew it was something like that. It sounds like he was mad that she wouldn't let him talk. I wonder whether he hit her in the mouth before strangling her. NC convicted killer, Jason Young, bashed his pregnant wife, Michelle Young, in the mouth before murdering her and their unborn son.

The thing that is IMO to be fundamental about our judicial system is you are innocent until proven guilty. There can be theories on everything until we get more physical evidence. This case is unique bc we have a victim which is also a Suspect. As of now we have heard nothing about physical evidence that implicated either CW or SW to killing the girls. A juror is supposed to be impartial to what defense may offer. I am interested in all those theories bc this crime does not add up. He had moved on absolutely nothing to gain by killing her and kids. He can be portrayed as verbally abused and she has admitted the need for mood support on her Sm. She had everything to lose imo . The motive puts her subject to be the killer imo
ITA. Well said. In horrific cases such as this one, juries want a to hear a motive even though one is not required. I think revenge on SW's part to be a possibility. JMO

If CW was in an interrogation room, don't you think they would have brought dad into that room to talk to CW ?
Can't wait for the interviews to be released.

It's not 100% unique, actually, for a familicide perp to accuse one of the victims of the crime.

In a case in the UK, nearly 30 years ago, a woman, her two sons, and her parents were found dead in a farmhouse. Her brother, who lived a few miles way, said that she'd gone crazy and killed them all. LE accepted that initially and didn't do a very good job with crime scene analysis. Then they found things that suggested it was really the brother who murdered his family, and his sister was a convenient 'scapegoat' as she had a pre-existing mental illness (paranoid schizophrenia). He's currently serving a life sentence.

I think others have accused one of the victims. Some accuse outsiders, that's what MacDonald did. Most of the ones I've had a read about didn't ever confess. But CW seems to have ended up in such a hole with the evidence coming out that I think he had no choice to confess. He chose to limit his confession by only admitting to one murder and describing it as manslaughter instead of murder.

Yes, it was NUA.
CNN.com - Transcripts

"He wasn`t being the normal Chris that he normally was, he wasn`t touching her, hugging her, doing stuff like that. He wasn`t being as attentive to the girls as he was normally was."

When NUA was asked if Shanann suspected CW of cheating, she said, "There was speculation, but she didn`t want to believe that, either."

I think everyone wants to know that, lol. That and on the ride from the Denver airport to Frederick, they were alone, IIRC.

Bummer that same someone was not looking down on Shanann, Bella, CeCe, and Niko.
