Don’t forget, he wasn’t able to do whatever it was he planned to do, because of Shanann’s friend alerting law enforcement, likely far earlier than he had planned.

Because things were discovered in a certain place, doesn’t mean that they would have been left there, had things gone according to plan.

Agree, I was only preferring that because I don't think it's ever been presented before as a reason why her purse and her luggage were left there. Everybody was saying it was a mistake. Yes it was a mistake, or perhaps it was a purposeful mistake that he was thinking somebody might peak in, but never expecting somebody would get into the house itself. If that makes sense.

Just saying it's very interesting but both those placements are exactly direct eye placement when you look in a window from the outside front door and sliding glass door that you cannot get into.

Judge Kopcow orders Christopher Watts to provide DNA, fingerprints to prosecution for analysis

The judge in the Frederick triple homicide case ordered Christopher Watts on Wednesday to turn over certain nontestimonial evidence to the Weld District Attorney’s Office.

The evidence the district attorney’s office requested includes DNA swabs of Watts’ saliva, finger and palm prints, digital photographs of Watts’ right and left hands, a Polaroid photograph of the defendant, and the collection of inked footprints of Watts’ left and right feet.

Here's one of the reasons why I’m convinced C.W. is guilty. All these photos are from SW’s fb page. You can’t tell what color this child’s skin is, and she is “sprawled” out all over the place. Why would she be “sprawled” out any differently after being strangled? I don’t know if SW’s baby monitor is capable of displaying 4 color images if the lights are on in the rooms, but I think if the camera could show 4 color images, SW would have preferred that and used them, and if lights were on in both rooms, CW would have noticed when he walked back upstairs, and certainly would have questioned why she was waking up both kids in the middle of the night while in such a high emotional state after their emotional conversation. His story is unbelievable to me, just another ill-conceived lie that a not so bright man thought everyone would believe.

I can’t disprove they were off can you?
You seem to start with a baseline premise of assuming the thing negated by Occam's Razor (assume the most obvious answer first). I am honestly confused by this. It takes so much mental gymnastics to go along with CW's (last, after changing his tale several times) version of events. Are you hoping to start with the assumption that his tale is truthful? I get that in trial CW is innocent until proven guilty, but SW is also accorded that presumption -- and she is not on trial, and will not be, because she is inarguably a murder victim. I ask respectfully, why do you WANT to believe a confessed murderer's account in which his defense is to blame his murder victim? I feel no compunction to do so. I will go with the logic of lights out in a bedroom where a child is sleeping until someone proves to me they were on. I don't need to prove they were off. It's simply logical.

Better to leave the suitcase by the door (leaving) than at the steps going upstairs (getting home). If you are staging.

What is sad to me... she probably left the suitcase there for CW to bring upstairs for her. Never knowing that he would kill her.

Why would the lights be on in the children's room? If she was going in to strangle them, why would she turn the lights on first? Would she want her babies to wake up and look at her as she was choking the life out of them?

Why kill her and the kids? ....MONEY and FREEDOM.
What money no alimony was guaranteed or proven yet and freedom would be divorce. He was all ready in a relationship. And if he was leaving her for another woman what do you think her reaction would be? IMO anger and revenge is is also a great motive

But the same would go for SW... no need to kill your girls. Just move on.

I base that upon it actually matches facts of the basis of the confession and can’t be disproven at this time. On one hand some seem to imply he is a stupid person lax in leaving a trail of evidence, so why would he be so detailed to thought to think of lights being on would match his description of events? There was no thought pretense to this crime IMO so illogical to assume this one detail is the one he carefully thought to match.

I do like the way both girls have a happy smile when seeing grandma. I like smiling kids.
Its heartbreaking to see those adorable toddlers smiling and happy, knowing they have been killed and stuffed inside crude oil vats by CW, and that their pregnant mom was murdered and buried in a shallow grave by CW, the man who was meant to protect them.

Antisocial Personality Disorder is a mental illness. It's in the DSM 5
Thanks for clarifying that MsBetsy, I understand now. I wasn’t aware personality disorders were classed as mental illness, you’d think I’d know that working in the mental health field ! I have a lot to learn. What does DSM stand for ? Is it an American term or international term ? I’m in the uk. Ty

Alimony is the usual thing especially for a wife pregnant with his child.
Child support for at least the next 18 years.
No one has proven that he would get an exemption from this. Also he would look like a cad and he was very conscious of his image.

Could you link the source please? I want to match the time of events and light source to his confession and if viewed from moniter or phone

It depends on your definition of psychopathy/sociopathy. A psychopath may have antisocial personality disorder which is a mental illness. But you can have psychopathic traits without having APD.
Thanks for explaining that stereopticons

I am genuinely curious what issues you have with @gitana1's post at the beginning of every new thread, as well as with the MSM article that states there is "no proof" that SW killed her kids, yet you seem very convinced that she did it. There is a wealth of circumstantial evidence against him, yet NOTHING against her other than his word, so what are we missing?

Thinking it over... has there EVER been a case where the woman immediately kills her child/children just after a 'separation' was MENTIONED?

Um, isn't the point that he did NOT think? That lights were off but he forgot that the monitor would not show the color change? Another careless moment in his vicious attempt at assaulting his wife even after killing her.

I know it. And you know, so many of us here have said we hope she didn't see him kill those babies or we hope she didn't see her babies dead. But, I also hope those precious little girls didn't witness their daddy kill their mommy. It's horrifying to think about any which way you look at it. :(

So imo “he’ll hath no fury like a woman scorned” still could deem equal as a motive to a few thousand a month to a man that imo was in a relationship and could have moved in and shared expenses with AP or got a small efficiency apt instead of spending his life in jail

Lol! Yes, and our own verified mental health professionals here at WS have repeatedly stated that they can't diagnose any of those things from her videos.
MOO

They are professionals so they have to go by the demands of their professions.

If we could not discuss what we see in CW, what would the conversation be? Over and over that he is a monster?

I want to hear a out his life. What was he like?

As a teacher, I cared about my students . It is sad if I hear about their drug issues or even some who have died of heroin od. So far, no murderers but a couple of rapists.

I wonder what it is in children’s lives that impacted them . Why some make it, though not without issues that cause pain.

There is no way that he did not have things in his background that are red flags
