I suppose it's possible, but I would think there would have been some sort of signs leading up to that point, as it would suggest she had been gradually building up to that point. Or at least some episodes in the past of her suddenly becoming volatile. It is very uncommon for people who are usually level- headed or stable to suddenly lose all control. Jmo

Right, but I don't think CW showed any signs leading up to that point either.

If SW did kill her children and then herself and CW came home from work and found them, I wonder what he would have done. I wonder if he would have called 911 or decide to dump their bodies in case someone might think he did this to them.
Good point!

Many “family annihilators” show no signs at all. He’s completely normal in that regard, well atleast as much as a murderer can be.

Pages behind here, but just wanted to say. Thank you for explaining this is what you've been thinking about. It does give us much more to discuss.

Thank you. It wasn't easy to post. It's so sad and senseless.

He was having at least one affair and it is rumoured that he had had others.

And offensive. And implausible. Timing makes no sense. Kill my kids while CW is around and then I will kill myself later? So done here.

SO why wouldn't CW say this in his twisted "confession"? He would have said he was leaving for work. He didn't. You are postulating that there is yet another scenario, and she planned for him to find her and the girls? Are you saying she was going to commit suicide but instead he saw her in the act and killed her himself? WHY are people going to such lengths to make this confessed murderer's accusations play out? I guess it is just sport here, trying out all kinds of cockamamie scenarios? I agree with the posters who find it deeply offensive. It's disgusting to do this to a murder victim. Time for me to take another break. Bye. And I trust that some of these shameful suppositions will be something those posing them will want to erase when actual evidence is brought to court. Obviously we are all here discussing a case but when it comes to going along with the murderer's depraved falsehoods, it seems to be a pretty sick outlet. I will log myself off, thanks to those who understand, and to those I cannot understand, I am sure you mean better than it appears to me.
Abby, I think the majority of us on here are disgusted with CW's lies and attempted cover up, and agree that SW is innocent. I'm glad there are so many who are defending SW's reputation and reminding us all who the real murderer is, based on his behavior/interviews and "confession". I hope you come back again, your posts are helpful!

I’m not suspending reality. I’m waiting on the autopsy, forensic evidence & full investigation to form my opinion (based on facts).

Ok but it's also a fact that CW lied about where his family was when he knew all along. It's also a fact he killed his wife and unborn baby. It's also a fact he chose to kill his wife instead of attempting to save at least one of his children per his story. It's also a fact he dumped them in oil and went to work like nothing happened. I too am anxious to see the autopsy however since their father dumped them in crude oil we may not get any answers.

She has been accused by the primary and self confessed suspect to try to save his neck. There’s a big difference of that type of accusation. Most agree that Chris Watts is responsible and it’s a waste of time to endlessly ponder over the least likely case scenario in defense of Chris Watts.

Well, one could say that it's also a huge waste of time to be here discussing this case at all, especially since we have such a giant lack of new/forthcoming information. If we exclude possibilities, this will turn into the "echo chamber" that people were against when the idea of separate threads was floated and there would be nothing to discuss until a possible leak or even the next court date. It would be page after page of people repeating themselves and each other over and over. As it is now, when I get behind I can skip several pages knowing that I'm not missing much of anything other than people arguing over what can/can't be discussed. I hope this doesn't come off as snarky because that's not my intent, I'm just pointing out that we should calm down and not have a go at each other because there is literally nothing new to discuss at this point.

Let's all love each other! This has to be one of the most "controversial" WS threads I've ever read/participated in and while i love all of the differing ideas and theories, I hate that there is so much in fighting and mud slinging at each other.

Alimony has zero to do with children or child care. I

f Shanann was making as much money as everyone seems to think she was, then her and CW were pretty even on their individual incomes and he may not have to pay much child support, if any at all - and her job allowed her to be home with the children on a regular basis, negating the need for childcare costs other than her trips out of town. Now, if the girls were to continue going to private school, he would be responsible for paying a portion of that.

Child support usually aims to keep finances pretty even between the households, so that one parent isn't the "Disneyland" parent while the other scrapes to get by. There is usually no set amount or percentage applied to every family; there is a very detailed worksheet completed that includes both parties' income, ability to spend time with the children whether it be during the day or evening/overnights, etc.
You are correct, I misspoke and said "alimony" instead of "child care" - thanks! But he would have to contribute greatly to child care if she had full custody. Working from home with kids means taking time away from working to take care of the kids, IMO. And if he had the children half or full time, it would take considerable expense and time/responsibility, IMO.

You can read what I posted about crude and see what you think may happen. Not real clear but not good.

When someone becomes unhinged there is no rationality. I'm not saying this is what happened. I haven't decided one way or another who's responsible. I'm was just throwing it out there and exploring the accusation CW made.

I think knwing you are going to seperate is one thing, to know that your spouse has also moved on, is another.

Does anyone know why SW's first marriage ended? Was it an abusive relationship?
I don’t believe I have heard anything about abuse but SW had stated on her video
SW stated she lost everything. Had to start over. Her divorce was in NC. That is a 50/50 property division state so I don’t understand how she lost everything. But. NC has a very unique law involving adultry. The injured spouse can not only file a civil suit I believe but it may be considered in property division if adulterer used marital money towards affair purposes.

It's been explored plenty. Time to move on because it is falling into victim bashing and it reeks.
Until I see further evidence, no I will not stop looking for answers. Are you referring to me when you say victim bashing or just to everyone with an enquiring mind?

Um yeah. She was going to the doctor that day to hear her baby's heartbeat for the first time. She had plans with a friend that afternoon. She was planning a gender reveal party for the coming weekend. I don't see it.
MOO
I don't either, I would think there would have to be some sort of psychotic, or drug induced, way out of the ordinary, unlikely scenario that happened for this to have occurred. And we just don't have any evidence what so ever to even consider it. Jmo
