Would you possibly have the VI post? because I'm pretty sure they didn't say that they knew about the AP from the start.
Trinket78 post dated September 10.

“Yes I am aware of the one affair and was from the beginning. She also knew he wanted a separation before her trip. She continued to post about how wonderful he was. He deleted his Facebook after that.”

I had planned to visit and post for a while tonight, but the oil tank holes has broken my heart and made me very sad. Those poor, sweet little girls.

There were two people the girls loved and trusted above all others; their Mommy and Daddy. Daddys are supposed to protect their children, even into death! I'm sorry, gotta go, good night!

So am I understanding this correctly... There are two ways and two ways only to open these tanks, both of which were quite full, as in won't need to be refilled nor will be empty for a long time. The bigger opening is on the bottom, includes dozens of bolts, and the tank must be emptied in order to open it, otherwise hundreds of gallons of oil would spill out. The smaller, and only other opening, is one at the top, which is 8 inches diameter, and can be opened while tank is full. The only way CW could have gotten them in there would be to drain the tanks with the pipe between them, which would take hours he didn't have and, I'm assuming, wouldn't be an option if both tanks were near full, as obviously you can't just overfill one without spillage.

Or the 8 inch hole.

Is that all correct?

The brutality revealed by the manner in which he disposed of them will not go unnoticed by the jury. It's hard to defend the indefensible. A person acting out of rage in a moment of trauma such as he claims does not have it in them to act in such a viscious manner against innocent children with the clockwork precision of someone who kills for pleasure. IMO he should rot in an impersonal hell like the one he created for his victims.
Yeah, I'm not sure what the jury will think of his story that she went into a sudden rage and killed the kids prompting him to go into a rage and kill her. Jmo

I think the distinction here though is that there's a fuss being made by some about how she was always on these trips and out of town and he was home and responsible, but it appears he was with her on a lot of these.

You never really true know people. I think I have mentioned this before but I have closely worked with a man for over a decade, that was brilliant, polite, well mannered (opened doors for ladies), kept to himself , worshipped his nut job wife and he is a registered sex offender.
I still work with him but my opinion of him has changed. He is still brilliant, polite but not a person I would now trust.

It is frightening. I've known a few people like this too, and when I learned the truth about them, I made sure there was a big distance between them and me. I believe some people are never truly able to change, so I stick with the old saying that the best predictor of future behavior is past behavior. Be careful around him!!

Agreed, sadly. It is so hard to understand but one must only look at his 3 media interviews to see he was not devastated in the slightest. Nor was he later, according to the Thayer's. IMO.
And not only did he not act devastated at the Thayers, he also could not even keep up the pretense of acting like he wanted to find his family. The husband friend said they kept trying to come up with ideas of where Shanann could have gone, or brainstorming, and Chris wasn't showing interest or would just be distracted by his phone. I feel like he couldn't even find it within himself to FAKE care even just for show or to protect his image or try to deflect any suspicion. He wasn't interested in finding them because of course he knew what had happened. But I don't know if the guy even knows how to mimic caring, concerned, human emotions. Or else he is just too arrogant to think he even had to bother. Or maybe he was caught off guard and shocked that people would care so much where Shannan and the girls were since he sure didn't.

I agree because our VI also said she knew about his AP from the start. So for some reason, she must have felt it was a secret she was justified in keeping too. I think that only makes sense if CW was talking trash about his wife to his friends/loved ones. JMO MOO IMO...

@Allabouttrial, I also did not read that ascertain from the VI.

The VI did say it on the thread. She said that she knew about the affair from the beginning.

Agree. There are probably a lot of "charming people" around us which keep their real personality secret and wear their kindness as a mask. Even "normal" or let's say mental healthy people do this. You wouldn't tell everybody that you (for example) are sad or angry or whatever. Or maybe did something you aren't proud of. Haven't we all faked a smile sometime? If they are in a clear state of mind they know that they need to hide what's inside them otherwise they would be quickly excluded out of the society or maybe even in serious danger. So they need to display their friendly behavior even more just to feel kind of likeable or at least acceptable.
this is where I think chris was.
he didn't enjoy being a father or husband but how do you say that out loud???
but now we know the depth of his soul.....
and now he gets to say out loud he is a murderer of his own flesh and blood.

dead beat dad and murderer.
but didn't he look hot on the deck squeezing his pecs :confused:

If she made as much or more than he did, she would either not receive spousal support or she would have to pay him.

It is likely that, due to her availability as a work from home mom, and the coming of a newborn, and his work schedule, she would have primary care of the kids. So if their incomes were similar or even if hers was somewhat greater, he would likely have to pay her support and that would balance against any spousal support order.

Each would pay half of child cares/preschool as additional support.

I have a feeling they were having financial issues and living beyond their means. I don't have evidence for that. It's a suspicion based on the lifestyle I saw online and their past bankruptcy.

Also, IMO, a lot of what MLM's are about is hope and hype.

In a majority of family annihilator cases, which this case has been charged by the state of Colorado to be, financial strain and the desire to be free from the responsibility of caring for children, is a major factor or motivator.

I also note that their house was likely upside down but if there was any equity, SW would likely get it all if they divorced since they apparently purchased the home with proceeds from her separate property (so separate property reimbursement to her), IIRC. Unless she was dead of course. Then she'd get nothing.

She was not on the original mortgage . Was she added to the mortgage or only to the deed?

Were they married when they purchased the house? I am confused about that. If she got her assets after the marriage, wouldn’t it be considered part of marital assets ?

I'm not sure about all of it, but I think it said to open and close the larger opening one would have to remove and put back on 64 nuts and bolts or whatever they are called. But I'm not sure if that's the same as the bottom one. I'll have to go back myself.

No I don't, but it is possible so to assume as fact that this was not the case and that SW did the bulk is an incorrect statement.
Do you have evidence for me to assume as fact this was the case? Because imo.... it looks otherwise.

Housecleaning, although she had to prepare weeks of meals prior to going to NC, (per video)... coming home from NC cleaning, laundry (per video)

Why is it so hard to believe her? And the her truth?

I really want to know.

If what they're saying - that he would not have had enough time to drain tanks to get the bodies in there and would've had to do that before the day of the murders then of course.

Sometimes they say things on these shows that aren't accurate though.

That's true, sometimes these shows aren't accurate. But if this is, it sounds to me like he had two ways of getting the little girls' bodies into the tanks.

One would have been to empty the tanks in advance and put them through the lower opening.

The other way would have been to cram (not dump) their bodies' through a very small opening on top.

My thoughts are that if he drained the tanks in advance so he could put them through the lower opening, SW's body would not have required a shallow grave.

JMO.

I haven't seen it and no clue where to find it.
if not a link back to it.
be much appreciated

That's not what I saw. IMO he looked scared and stressed out. I wouldn't call a t-shirt spiffy.

He seemed to think it was pretty spiffy IMO, he preened and laughed.

Thanks for that. What's the difference in consistency, color, viscosity, of refined versus crude?

I know people have said there's variation within types of crude oil.

"Light sweet crude oil" is what's most commonly traded and stored, so I'm assuming that's what we're talking about. It has a low density and flows at room temperature. It’s called sweet because it has a low sulfur content. If it has a higher sulfur content it’s sour crude oil. It’s called “light” because its density is lighter than water. It’s like good real maple syrup from Vermont, it’s thin but not too thin. It usually is a medium brown. Light sweet crude oil is what's usually distilled to make gasoline and petroleum distillates (like kerosene or industrial solvents).

Heavy crude and heavy sour crude are much denser and thicker. They are difficult to transport because of the high metal content and are much more expensive to distill. Whenever you hear about "the cost of oil" on the news they're usually referring to the benchmark price for light sweet crude oil in the US.

Light sweet crude is mostly processed into gasoline and distillates at refineries. Gasoline is a clear liquid that everyone’s familiar with at the gas station. It takes roughly twice as much crude oil to make each barrel of gasoline.

Keep your head up... take a break. And most daddies do protect their children. The outstanding majority do.

I think it depends on whether or not he owned it before they were married. I wondered about that myself, if they bought it together or if she used the money from the sale of her house in NC, or if she even sold it. I'm not clear on all that either. Someone must know.
