An unnamed source told AB the tanks were nearly full, and the guest, Professor Wesley Williams is an expert on the subject of oil, he teaches classes about it at a college in Louisiana. He was very familiar with all aspects of these tanks.
But Chris thought that he could pull it off. He is a stupid man despite what his shop teacher said about him.

I really want to know too about the garage keypad, and if CW disabled it, instead of it being broken. He wanted that house locked up tight until he got everything out! JMO

It just seems so incredibly stupid that he didn't at least take the purse/wallet, meds, and unlock the inner latch. He could have tossed the small things in a dumpster or buried them. It would have just taken minutes to grab them.

That would have made a huge difference at the start. I would have wondered at that point, if she took the kids and was driven away by a new bf or something.

A mama's love.

Edited to say: Not sure why gitan1's post isn't showing up in this response to her post. But this was in response to the beautiful pictures she posted.

Oh. Because I didn't include text. Just add...to inside my quote and it should.

LOl - low-rent rendezvous. But we also have OW co-worker to consider and if she is someone he set his sights on as his new target, he may have decided to step it up to woo her and he may have sprung for someplace like Applebees - lol. A dinner and beverages for two plus tip would be around $40. If he did this 7 nights a week for 5 weeks, that would be $1,400. That's before alcoholic beverages, and any gifts or flowers he might have bought her.

In addition, I'm not familiar with how these meet up apps work (and I never intend to become familiar with them, either!), but is there a fee to join? That would be hard to explain to a wife who was paying the bills and looking at debit and credit card statements, IMO.
Don't forget TB's claim that CW gave him a $1000 and bought him makeup at Sephora. He said CW used cash.

Things are getting grim around here. Maybe we should all hold hands and sing kumbaya.

Maybe he wanted to dump those items in the opposite direction to where the bodies were, delay tactics.

I hate to say it, but using a hammer to smash the girls' heads in, to make them fit through the hole, wouldn't take must effort on CW's part.
I just can't, but you're right.

I'm sure that teacher is majorly disappointed, probably thought CW had potential, sad really.

It will be some time before we likely see the autopsy reports, but I think we need to brace ourselves as the reports are probably going to show some very serious damage to the bodies of those sweet little girls.
Maybe Nico, too.

How did Scott Peterson manage?
Neil Entwistle?
Chris Coleman?
Christian Longo?
Ross Harris?
Etc. Etc.

It's an intriguing question. It's really why we are all here for the most part. But sometimes it can't be answered.
I think that they do change overnight. Men seem to have an ability to put things into different compartments in their brains as long as the main brain is going to their small brain located between their legs.

Can someone convince me the skin/makeup happened? jmo

True. I guess it just came down to him being certain he'd have time after work. He probably planned to tell his boss at lunch time that his wife wasn't answering and he was worried about her...and he wanted to go and check on her, then he could grab those things, unlock the latch, and look like a concerned husband.

I recently read or watched on tv, can’t remember, a profile on family annihilators. They said family annihilators typically don’t think it through, they don't consider the consequences, until it’s over. For whatever reason, they think it’s a good solution to obliterate their families, and they make it happen. They all make stupid mistakes.

I have a 4 year old niece. I’ll figure out a way to check the viability of this tomorrow.
Be careful. We don't have money to bail you out of jail.

All true. But it takes a special someone, to be able to spend long hours, contorting and rearranging your child's corpse, one at a time, in order to cram them into an oil tank. Especially if you are then able to get up the next morning and host a press conference on your porch, looking like you are calm and well rested.

I truly hope this is just sensationalism and there was another way to get them in there because otherwise, it's beyond the realm of humanness. A horrific psychopath.

Have y'all tried to visualize this? Him holding them by their arms and lowering them into that dark hole as the sun comes up? It's straight out of a nightmare. How do you do that and then carry on with your day. Smiling at people, checking his phone, sleeping in that empty house where his whole family died. Wth?
I don't think this is something Alfred Hitchcock or Edgar Allen Poe could have come up with.

Thanks for the detailed recap about draining the tanks, SW's family picking up her things, etc.

What the tank stuff meant to me is either:
1. CW planned and calculated this crime for a long time
or
2. He had an accomplice or accessory-after-the-fact. He had too much to do to get rid of the bodies and too little time to do it.
I remember at one of the press conferences, LE said they were investigating to see if there was an accomplice. Then, days later, I remember reading, I think it was People Magazine that he acted alone.

Yes they are. But we're back to discussion right? Which is always a good thing.

Take a breath, a break if you need to, 5 things for gratitude today in prayer if you believe and simple gratitude if you don't, and shine like Shanann.

imo

I think it is one of the major questions we all have and what helps keep us reading here. My daughter is about to become engaged. I like her boyfriend very much. But still, I have fears, stemming from reading cases here, which prove to us that we don't usually really know who we are marrying or dating, and it is frightening.
