What would you have handy in a bedroom? He, working out as he did, could have flipped her aside, but that does not mean she could not jump up and attack him.Apparently that is why LE shoots to kill.
The whole thing makes no sense to me
I think whether he'd grabbed a heavy toy, punched her, slammed her head against a wall, wrestled her out of the room and thrown her down the stairs, twist her arms behind her back and drag her to wherever the phone is ... whatever he has to do to get her away from the child and to get to a phone to call 911. If he can get her out of the picture somehow, then he can call 911 and the sooner the better for getting ambulance/paramedic on scene, and while they're on the phone with him they can help him do CPR, and if he can't do the CPR because she keeps accosting him then at least the ambulance is on its way, and LE can come via the 911 call and if they have to shoot, then unfortunately that might have to be done.
But he did not, from what we've heard, show very much instinct to have the children attended to. It's not like he'd come in after work and the bodies were cold and stiff, he said he was watching it happen on the monitor, so how many steps would it take to run into the child's bedroom, he might have managed to drag her off the second child in time to save the child's life if medical attention could come soon enough.
Why didn't he call 911 for an ambulance? He claims it was all heat-of-the-moment, but what did he do? Did he try to find a pulse on the second child, can't find one? Run to the other child's room, can't find a pulse either? So call 911 and see if the medics/experts can bring them back? Why did he choose not to do that in the heat of the moment?
How long did he sit there with his head in his hands, crying, looking at the body of his child in the child's bed, his wife's body sprawled across the floor, until he figured it was now too late to get help and what to do? Oh, I have to hide the bodies and think how to not get caught? Well if I drive 30 miles out to some place and throw the bodies in a ditch, the bodies might be found, LE might match the GPS on my truck/phone and know it was me who dumped the bodies, oh I know I'll dump them in oil tanks at work, and I'll have to do it fast, because I don't want to give myself away by being late for work. And I don't want LE to find the bedsheets so I'll throw them in the trash for now and make the bed when I come in from work.
How did CW get sidetracked so easily from saving his children to moving their bodies and hiding them in those tanks?
