Either the patches do something or they don't. If they do nothing, that seems like a snake oil scam. If they do something, it's possible for someone to have an adverse reaction. Imo

Yes. Anything is possible. When this case first broke and CW hadn't done the porch interviews I looked up the ingredients wondering if she had a reaction and took off with the kids.

Besides caffeine it was mostly innocuous stuff. Common supplements.

Just on disposal of the bodies alone, 4-12 years per victim.

So, assuming he's telling the truth, he could have called for an ambulance for all of them, including Shanann and Nico, and possibly had to face manslaughter charges, and had a good chance of walking free. But instead he's virtually guaranteed a minimum of 12 years, a likely life sentence, and possible death penalty?

Instead of thinking about where to hide the bodies, maybe he should have just called 911, there would have been less to lose and the medics might have even got there in time to save his children's lives.

ETA hadn't he ever heard of people getting off on manslaughter charges if it was done to potentially save the life of another individual?

Did he actually sit or stand and weigh up the risks of calling 911 to try to save the children vs going on trial for manslaughter vs getting caught hiding the bodies? And all the time the seconds are ticking down for the chance of reviving his daughters?

Yet apparently many do not believe the thrive products are unhealthy, and do not advise against it. Do we know that it was a high-risk pregnancy? Just being under 17 or over 35 is high risk, but it doesnt necessarily mean there are any restrictions or any special treatment. Jmo

Shanann had lupus. While pregnancy is possible for women with lupus, the autoimmune disease increases risk for woman and fetus. I am assuming she would be considered high-risk.

Not a chance. Context is key. Those interviews are incredibly powerful evidence. I haven't met or heard an attorney or crime expert or psychologist who thinks otherwise.
Absolutely true. Well said. If someone didn't know the fate of the family, the interviews would leave them with grave doubts and concerns. Knowing the fate of family naturally makes him a prime suspect and brings his character into question. Knowing that he knew what happened, where the bodies were, and how they hidden and his actions before, during, and after the murders makes the interviews and his behavior horrific!

I'm not a doctor but I doubt any OB would approve those patches. JMO
@MyBelle and @NuttMegg, most OB's limit the daily caffeine intake to 200mg during pregnancy for a number of reasons. These patches had less than that amount. Every case is different IMHO. IIRC, she had this comment on one of her photos where she was 4 months pregnant - #Doctorapproved. Her comment makes it appear that her OB was aware of her patches. Perhaps this was her only caffeine intake for the day.

I think if this goes to trial, the defense will use the SM videos that some of us find so alarming. JMO
Yes, but they may also use experts to give their opinions and disprove any notion that SW was in some way abusive to her children or mean to her husband. Imo

I can also see why she would want to advertise the fact that they are safe. Makes sense. Imo

I think both sides will pull whatever they can to build or defend their cases. If it goes to trial it’s going to be interesting.

That’s what usually happens. The defense will be scraping the bottom of the battle if they go with the “Thrive Defense.”

I look forward to his conviction.

He had the little teeny tiny problem that he had killed his wife and son. That puts a different problem
He had the very hugh problem that he had murdered his pregnant wife and two daughters. Four lives, FOUR, ended at his hands, probably struggling to survive. That is why there are five charges of premeditated murder, FIVE! He then coolly and cruelly hid the bodies.

Nothing different that sold at vitamin stores, out here we have a place called GNC, or even the same effect from the vitamin supplement at a grocery store, or gas stations or conveince stores, vitamin powder packs at the counter, red bulls in the in the back. Etc.

He stood or sat and reviewed his plan for hiding the bodies. None could be revived, because he made sure all of them were dead. He wanted all of them dead. That was his goal, it's what murderers do. There is NO compelling evidence he's telling the truth, just his self-serving ststement. There's sufficient evidence that he committed three murders, killing four human beings, causing him to be charged with premeditated murder five times!

The amounts of the ingredients aren't listed. I don't believe her OB approved of the patches. JMO

I look forward to his conviction.

His conviction of 3 counts of murder in the first degree, 2 counts of murdering a child under 12, in a position of trust and his conviction of unlawful termination of a pregnancy. I believe he will be convicted on all counts, he did it, he is responsible and him alone.

So you believe that she was lying. Do you have any evidence to prove this? Also what relevance does this have to the murders?

CW is so stupid that I wouldn't be surprised if he watched a YouTube video about how long it takes strangulation to kill someone, just like Ross Harris watched that hot car video 5 days before he 'forgot' his son in a hot car. MOO

We can only hope!!!

Very interesting indeed. ITA.

I have said repeatedly I believe SW was lying about OB approval of the patches. If you don't believe it is relevant by all means, scroll and roll. JMO

I couldn't find anywhere that stated exactly what the "Forslean" ingredient actually is. Glamourized caffeine?

It all just seems like the patches were fancy expensive band aids and the pills just gave you expensive urine.

I try to assume its sellers were selling it in good faith.
