Not that I can see he seemed there for all parties and holidays. In fact SW stated what a great dad he was and how amazing he was. How do you know the length of time? I have been looking for a timeline and unable to find it? If it had been months then are you thinking she knew about affair is why she went to NC? Do you think if she knew of affair in NC and had not planned on staying in marriage ? Seems odd she would have posted about a romantic getaway suggestion for them the week before her death if she knew. Imo she knew problems had thought he had “no game” thought he would miss her, then was devaststated to know he was leaving her. Moo
Chris’ alleged ex-lover, whom HLN said had been sought out by their team, said that he and Chris were allegedly in an approximately 10-month relationship after meeting online last June.

They saw each other off and on through the spring, ending things in March or April, the man said.

She claimed she had a six-week affair with Watts, 33, in May and June. The shaken woman said: “He would put his hands on my throat during intercourse. Now that I know who he is, it gives me the chills! I can’t even think about it.” “But nothing about him alarmed me until he tried to choke me,” continued the mistress. “That freaked me out. He had a rape fantasy. He was very kinky.” “When we had sex, it was very animalistic.

I’m pretty sure it was reported on AB’s show that CW’s affair with the co-worker had been going on for 8 – 10 months, but I don’t have a link handy, so just MOO.

If you think she was devastated to learn he was leaving her, then do you think both parents lost their minds and became murderers on the same night? And both parents did not care at all about the children enough to call 911 to try and save them? What a coincidence that would be, IMO. I can't imagine the statistical probability of that.
I would say statistically there are not very many odds you were going to be murdered by a family anniliator as well. I am stating we do not know of the details of actions within the affidavit yet so we do not know what transpired. I just am looking at all possibilities instead of putting absolute blinders on.

I do not personally see how the stomach contents can help CW's case. I only see how they could hurt it if it shows the children were murdered before SW came home. If it does not show that, then it is not helpful to either side, IMO. Just because he might not have murdered the children long before SW, does not mean he did not murder the children. Re staying in the house, I personally think she was contemplating a move to North Carolina if their marriage dissolved, which would have been catastrophic for him. Perhaps if he would lose the children anyway, he thought no one should have them? Just a thought.
I wonder how much analysis could be done of the stomach contents of a body in crude oil for 4 days. Which may have been the point of that method of desecration.

Up until any divorce resolutions or selling of the home he would still be responsible for at least half the mortgage as his name was on the deed, plain and simple
Ok so she would as well. Would she be able to do that?

He did seem that way pre-murders. Yet, two FBI profilers said he showed incredible confidence in his ability to lie to do 3 media interviews and lie to the world while maintaining eye contact. That took ego we did not know about, IMO. So it was there, somewhere. My guess is that it was honed from years of being able to lie successfully about affairs and other things, IMO.
We have zero evidence to base he lied for years

Actually I believe he was legally responsible for the entire mortgage. Her name was just on the deed not the loan I think. Correct me if I'm wrong. If she wasn't on the loan, she was not legally responsible for that mortgage.

I believe that the mortgage was solely in his name. Would this not mean that CW would be liable for the entire mortgage payment?

So this affair has not been proven credible or reliable ? And why would prosecution not seek her out and tell her not to talk to media bc they need her for testimony?

Perhaps she posted about a romantic getaway to rile his AP up. She probably had her suspicions the AP was stalking her fb.

We only know that 1 of these affairs has been confirmed (as per the arrest affadavit). My thinking is that the other two reported affairs are false. My thinking is based around the fact that no other affair partner or prior girlfriend has surfaced to dish the dirt.

I’m suggesting she promoted on his page and did all the leg work. He was an introvert. She would benefit and so would he if his sales were great. I am suggesting she found out about affair maybe that’s why she “didn’t feel well” I wouldn’t either. NUA had spoken with her about things too it seems. I am suggesting she was frantic and scared and mad. It seems no different then the logic he would kill not to pay child support. I am unsure how losing everything and feeling alone, betrayed being hormonal due to pregnancy is not a motive but losing money paying child support and feeling hormonal bc of steroids is a motive .
I don't think his sales or her sales have a thing to do with a motive for Shanann to kill her children who she so obviously loved and adored. She was not the one who was lying and cheating on her spouse. He had CLEAR motive here. There has been absolutely no indication whatsover that she was "frantic and scared and mad." None. And I am certain I have not brought up steroids here.
MOO

Maybe they did, and she didn't listen. We have no idea who or what the prosecution has advised.

My point is he would have to pay for somewhere else to live on top of it. Would HE be able to do it is the question. It is not exactly cheap living in that area. Unless they stayed living in the same home while being separated, which some couples do. Perhaps he suggested as much and maybe she agreed but changed her mind. Maybe she never agreed

He was all ego in those porch videos, thinking he was smart enough to pull this off, lying, grinning, smirking, and showing off his shirt. jmo
Yes. Bringing one of those links forward:

“He has an incredibly large ego,” says Dale Yeager, a criminal analyst and forensic profiler who is unconnected with the case, adding, “He really comes off as sociopathic. That doesn’t mean he is mentally ill, just that he has a personality defect.”

Busy guy, if all of that turns out to be true. In any case a guy can show up in a 2 minute video all smiley and getting pies in the face, while pining for an AP who he is about to see in a few hours, or just did see a few hours ago. IMO there is no way a married guy/gal can carry on an affair without taking time away from the family.

I’ve referred to the show “Evil Lives Here” a lot lately, as it interviews those closest to murderers.

One of the most recent episodes really reminded me of the Watts case and it got me thinking about CW.

On that episode, a wife’s husband was arrested for a random attack upon another family. He was a TV satellite installer. He killed a woman (slit her throat and raped her), stabbed her three daughters to death then lit the whole house on fire. The mother survived by rolling into the pool. :(

My point: The perp’s wife said that she reaaallly believes her husband actually wanted to do this to their own family, but decided to take it out on someone else, this long time resentment and hatred towards his own family. That his behaviors had for a long time had been getting stranger and more bizarre, as related to his actions and demeanor towards all of them (her and the kids). She truly believes that he had been wanting to kill all of them for a long time. And had he not been arrested for the crimes upon that other family, he would have ended up killing them.

Which brings to mind another case I mentioned from the same show, “Evil Lives Here”, where the husband became more disconnected and strange (turning the stove on in middle of the night and leaving it burning, hanging a doll from the living room ceiling, etc)

As I’ve mentioned before if there would be one question I could ask Shanann, it would be if there were any signs. “The show’s tag line from “Evil Lives Here”: “...but there had been SIGNS.”

I’m willing to bet that in hindsight there were signs. And Shanann noticed these signs. Perhaps they were really odd behaviors and changes.

Just some thoughts from a psychological aspect. That like these other killers, maybe the resentment and thoughts had been there for a while. A long while.

Everything is jmo.

I don't understand your question. Nothing has been proven because there hasn't been a trial yet. We don't know if the prosecution sought her out or not, but I'm very confident that investigators have. MOO

The arrest affidavit included what they knew at that point (8/16), or at least as much as was necessary to include in the affidavit. We don't know what investigators have uncovered in the last two months. MOO
