I'm sorry, but "grasping at straws"? Not really. Do you have any idea how many creeps out there molest their own children? I mean, just read this forum.

Since we're talking about a murderer here, it's completely likely that he's also a disgusting child molester. Being caught or being fearful of being caught would be a heck of a motive for murder in addition to whatever other evil he devised.
An autopsy could reveal that type of thing in most cases, I would think. And maybe he thought putting those little girls in those tanks might hide/destroy any evidence of that -- he probably thought the girls wouldn't be found as soon as they were. If he is twisted enuff to allegedly kill them and their mother, who knoze to what level he may have sunk. IMO.

Is there any evidence CW didn't want to separate? If there is, I've not seen it. JMO

Well he certainly still wanted to have "marital relations" with her. He got her pregnant, after all. Then sent a text saying he "loved the little peanut already", when SW sent him a photo of the ultrasound. This is one thing that CW can't lie about- the exchange is on her Facebook page. And he seemed to be quite happy about the pregnancy.

I wouldn't think a man who wanted to separate would risk getting his wife pregnant if he wanted to leave her (and have an additional child to pay support for). He could have used protection, but chose not to. Why? Certainly doesn't sound like a man who told her he wanted a separation, IMO.

I don't think CW was abusing the girls. It's possible, but IMO that's grasping at straws.

If CW was abusing the children why on earth would SW leave him alone with them for a weekend? That's beyond bizarre. JMO

Just thinking.
Well it is common for women who have been abused or who have found out that their spouse was abusing their daughters, to up and leave, taking nothing with them, fearing for their lives, heading to a shelter of some sort. I wonder if LE had suspected, or found out he was abusing the girls, if that was what prompted the call to the FBI.
Cw said he didn't want to put anything out there (!!!!!) But maybe someone TOOK them, ie out the back construction area. This was in the interview. But we don't know if he was singing this song to le even on Monday. FBI often gets involved in kidnappings, maybe cw was just too clever.

There's likely a digital footprint. If there is, I don't know what the digital footprint will reveal, if it will reveal anything, or if a suicide note, goodbye letter or explanation exists. I was only speculating and at this point I'm wishing I would have sat on my hands. Which I will likely do now until more comes out.
jmo
I'm pretty sure there will be a digital footprint. What that digital footprint will show, I'm guessing we will have to wait and see.

I'll be sitting on my hands until more information comes out.
Are you getting your information from Scott Reish youtube videos, one of his theories? How do we know this doesn't apply to CW? How can CW have the right to withhold SW's medical records when he murdered her? Wouldn't those rights be revoked?
Lets see what unfolds but it'd be great if you posted where you're getting your information. jmo

Well, since he told people before the murder he wanted to separate, then told NAU hours after the murder that he had told Shanann he wanted to separate, and then made sure to tell LE that HE initiated a conversation with his wife about a separation, he certainly was adament about wanting people to believe he was the one who wanted the separation. I wonder why? Jmo

Gee, I wonder why. Because he wanted everyone to think she was so upset/sad/angry that she took the kids and ran off after hearing the news. The "she killed the kids" excuse didn't come until later.

But it's entirely possible she just didn't know until that night, right? We don't know yet what evidence there is, so it's a possibility. I wouldn't be surprised, honestly. He just seems like the kind of closed off, secretive guy who has affairs and is also sexually abusing his daughters. Just my impression and opinion... I mean, we do have evidence he carried on a secretive affair.

What would make you think she would know? HE would know, and any victim(s) would know, and that's motive right there. Beyond bizarre IMO are these wild speculations and nasty talk about a murder victim. But that's JMO.

So he filed for divorce and moved out? I didn't realize he had done that. I have missed several posts and a couple of threads.
I didn't say CW had filed for divorce or that he had moved out so why do you imply I did?

So SW contacted the AP and threatened to hurt her own children if the AP didn't stop seeing her husband? Or did SW contact someone in CW family and maybe threaten that to them? Or was there no threat or even talking about her children at all, but instead maybe just an angry wife who was P.O'd her lying cheating husband was having an affair? Or maybe nothing at all and just wishful thinking that there's something like this out there for CW's sake?
Could be interpretation too, how often we can read a message one way, when it meant something else. How do we know CW didn't send the message?

This is going round in circles, can't wait for more information to be made public because CW's defense is muddying up the waters, could be something or nothing at all!

I don't believe it. But if he did, there is always the possibility she didn't know. Otherwise I would expect her to leave with the children immediately as soon as she found out.

no, it wouldn't be because SW was the parent missing, not CW and child abuse is a state crime, not a federal crime. The only reason to get the FBI immediately involved would be if local police believed the children endangered. JMO
Actually abusing children in that manner across state lines... as in from Colorado to N.C. would immediately involve the FBI. I don't really think it's plausible CW was abusing his daughtes. Until he murdered them anyway. Just tossing around some ideas. As some do. jmo

If he killed them all himself, then he couldn't call 911. He is correct that no one would believe him.

But if she killed them, and he had harassing texts from her, to him and the AP, and a suicide note, then it makes no sense that he didn't call 911.

In other words, there are no texts like that from SW, no suicide letter, etc. He would not have responded in the crazy way he did, if he had a suicide letter and angry texts, to show LE when they arrived.
This is an excellent point, CW's actions don't make sense if those interpreting the cases cited are to do with SW!

So. I thiiink I recall something from one of the latest OJ documentaries.

IF I remember correctly, what was key about the OJ civil suit filed by the Goldmans was that in such a suit the defendant is requuuired to speak at the deposition, or answer questions or something like that? Sorry if I’ve got this all wrong I’m no legal eagle but I thought I recall there was something special about that.

(This particular documentary was a groundbreaking moment imo because he is asked a direct question then immediately caught in this lie and his facial expression is EPIC, if you ever had any doubt...)

Once trial is over they no longer have a fifth amendment privilege.

Do you think that is why the prosecution wants to keep the autopsies sealed? I'm wondering. It is something that would be very inflammatory for a fair trial, so it fits. IMO
