No comment on poster
but let's guess that there's been almost 500 pple posting across the 7 threads. Been a lot of people. Think only three posters take that view, across the 7 threads.

Whatever the total SWatts case poster numbers the % is small. Compare that to vs juror %

We should post a poll cause I think it's beginning to upset a lot of posters.... personally I'd bet my house that he is convicted of the death of the children.

I've only noticed two, and both of those I've seen defending him are brand new posters with profiles created after the incident.

I'd bet my house too. I'm not worried about a jury. His defense is one of the weakest I've ever seen.

In reference to it being planned in advance, I don't know but wouldn't it take a long time to dig a shallow grave?
On the Eastern Plains of Colorado in August? Yes. It's extremely dry, packed soil. Sometimes when I'm gardening, I think I've hit a rock and it's a dry dirt clod. It's that hard.

I'm wavering between premeditated and sheer desperate panic. I think I'm squarely on the fence.

He'd thought about how to get himself out of this situation. He had ideas, he was formulating. I don't think he had a solid plan but after her last trip to AZ, he realized that he had to do something like now.

I think that explosion the company had was swirling around in the back of his brain. I think his original plan may have been oh, she took the kids and she left me, boo hoo, I have no idea where she is, she had friends all over the country, we had an "emotional conversation" but I thought we'd come to an agreement. In the meantime, he's remembering that explosion. If there was another explosion, and his families remains were there, would there be anything left at all? He'd just go on being the poor guy who's family disappeared and no trace of them was ever found. Of course, nearly everyone would know he was lying, but could it be proven?

Oh I understand your previous reference to explosion now. Tx

I think he thought it was a great place for all 3 of them and he couldnt lift the wife to the top hatch to get her inside.

I am familiar with those types of tanks and most all of them have a hatch on top with a small set of ladder type steps to get up to the top. He probably tried but could not lift her up to the top. Its incredibly hard to carry dead weight up a ladder because one arm always had to be on the ladder to support himself.

He figured any decomp smell would be covered because they were in the tank and he figured nobody would ever find them there. Its really not a bad hiding spot but sooner or later it would be inspected because most companies that use those tanks periodically inspect them for leaks and to make sure no animals get inside.

I agree, I think his original plan was for all three to go in the tanks. Someone posted a photo earlier and the ladder looks steep and long

Why would he think anyone would find the girls in there?

Poster @NanZDrew iirc, made a post about these tanks many threads ago. It was along the lines of the contents not often needing to be checked/drained and hardening on the top layers.

( So maybe he did really think it was a good long-term solution. Naturally we know that LE will always routinely check a suspect's place of work for any dispossal places so even if crude tanks are theoretically a great long-term disposal site - they wouldn't really be a solution for him..... but again he just isn't very smart.)

The girls’ beds were unmade, so I believe he put them to bed.

Something to think about, regarding the unmade beds. Maybe they were not made from the first night he had them while Shanann was gone. Maybe he wasn't as OCD as she, and didn't bother to make them. So I think the possibility of them being deceased when Shanann arrived home is still there.

"There's no flies on you" as the English expression goes Tigerlily.

You want to know how we know this was planned in advance? The tanks. He knew where he was going to dump the bodies, it didn't just occur to him after he killed them. He knew the tanks would be a good place to hide bodies because he had thought about it before.

I have to disagree here. He had to dump them at or near work because of time restraints. How far was his home from work ? If he'd thought about it he'd have realised that dumping them at work was so stupid.

I think she found out about gf and had enough or he wanted a separation either way she probably wasn't all tears about it. She was probably furious seriously...what a cnt especially wanting a 3rd baby while looking elsewhere

She probably was angry. probably threatened to ruin him.

I was in a similar situation I had photos if my ex with men!!! And I made it clear that I'd put those photos on 3 usbs and gave them to 3 friends. If anything happened to me they were going viral

Poor shanann didn't get that chance. This is why I don't feel bad about exposing the affair. it's all fair game now

Agree Hatfield!

I can see that playing out like this...she arrives home, he's awake. She wants to check on the girls and he says something like, "Don't, you'll wake them. Check them out on the monitor." Maybe she goes to their room and looks. This may be when the conversation begins. I agree that he mentions the monitor more than once so there it plays some role here.

Yes, he seems to be relying on that monitor.

But then he says he looked at them in the monitor before he left for work that morning. BUT, when he left, all 3 were dead.

LE charges him with putting them in the back seat of the truck (not the truck bed) but either the two little ones were already in the oil tanks or he had all 3 in the truck when he lied about the Baby Monitor.

There's something he really wants us to believe about that monitor.

Maybe there is evidence on the monitors that will back up his story.

I keep thinking scenarios over...I dont think CW deactivated his facebook because he was pre planning murder I think he deactivated social media because his cheating had come to light or was about to be rumbled. I dont think CW pre planned to kill his entire family because if he pre PLANNED to do it he would have taken more time to do it. For example he could have framed SW by making it look like she committed suicide after killing her children instead of his story that he killed her in revenge rage. He could have set a story up about 'mother kills children and then kills herself all whilst he is in work'. And he could have said she did it because he was leaving her. BUT the actual crime is so panicked and rushed that I think in my opinion that it was unexpected. I think they argued massively when she got home about him cheating and that she said she would leave him with nothing etc name calling etc which is what I would have done. And he killed her in a rage. The girls could have seen and heard it all so he knew he would be caught out so murdered them too. Or maybe he thought after he had killed SW he didnt want to be a single father and wanted to live as a single man with his mistress. I think everything was done on a whim and in a panic mode. Then he knew he had to go to work to look normal so had to take their bodies with him. He had to just make decisions there and then and what was accessible because who in the right mind buries their famillies bodies where they work unless they have no other options.

Awful to write this because its so heart breaking and I pray for SW and her beautiful girls. CW is a monster and I hope he admits guilt and it doesn't go to trial so her family dont go through more hell.

Except that early on LE said he put the girls in the oil tanks to cover the smell of decomposition. I think he researched this. Maybe he even loosened the 8 big rusty bolts that secure those hatches in a prior visit out there.

I think LE will find through Anadanko's records that his truck GPS shows him out there at that old well more frequently than his job would have entailed.

Hey guys, sorry if this has been mentioned before, so hard to keep up with you guys. One thing I keep thinking about to disprove CW's theory is that I think it is very rare for women to use strangulation for murder, especially with children. Can anyone recall a case a mother has strangled her family? It's also strange that he used the same method on her, if his story was true (it's not), it would have made more sense to punch her and call 911. I believe the affidavit also mentions a weapon, meaning maybe he used a sheet or something for the strangulations. I hope forensics can determine that the same "weapon" was used for all. If he used something belonging to SW, that could be why he is suggesting that her DNA would be present. Of course this is all speculation and my possible theory.
