Yes!! Thank you!!

"From an insider who was there the day it happened. Here is what they said:

There was an unopened bag of pistachios on top of the kitchen island. She saw them, Laughed and said "Mimi, we can't have these" and put them on top of the fridge. I guess most importantly.. They were unopened and not on the bottom shelf

Pistachio story cleared up. No need to discuss this any further.

This is a lot of information that asserts a lot. Such as the killer's mom and sister didn't attend his wedding. The killer's mom and sister didn't attend Bella and CeCe's birthdays.

I'm really hoping for a link to this interview. It's very possible that I missed it somehow. If there is no link to the source I hope this post is deleted. jmo
It’s in a periscope broadcast. The friend has been coming out a lot recently and giving info to defend SW’s name which I am very happy about. I assume we’ll get lots more of this info after the 19th. I listened to the webslueths radio and they talked about the absurdity of cW needing to talk to his mom before the plea and I thought this other info I posted just shows more of their background and relationship.

It has been widely stated as fact on this site, I am not sure where it started. I do recall watching a video made by SW re the nut incident at Mrs Watts house, saying what happened and that she would never go back there again. IIRC it was on FB but I would have to look for it <modsnip - mentioning PMs>.

The filing sealed due to HIPPA laws is still on my mind. I am 100% convinced it relates to CW and not Shannan as has been suggested. Unfortunately I don't think we'll ever see what it was. I think it was some attempt to mitigate CWs murderous actions, but I don't think we'll ever know.

That's what my law partner said. Related to competency and then possibly insanity.

I'm not sure either, whatever the filing was, or if it had gone to trial if that would have changed. Perhaps gitana1 has insight.

It will stay confidential.

Thank you. <modsnip - mentioning PMs> I really had no idea. I didn't see the video. Thank you gitana1

Agree. Maybe it’s sexual-related or psychology-related. If anything other than that, would he even care about hiding his medical records? Who cares if he had maybe, say, asthma or a bad knee or high blood pressure or whatever. It must be something bigger.

It was very likely related to his mental health status. Mental health issues are highly confidential. And so if he said things about delusional feelings or hearing voices or disassociation, etc., it could go to competency - is he able to go to trial. Or diminished capacity. Heat of passion. (I lost it. I snapped. Saw red.). Etc.

It's a catch 22 for the attorneys because if they want a competency exam, or determination, the motion to do so would contain confidential HIPAA info like statements he made to jail doctors or info from exams, etc.

And the attorneys don't want to breach their ethical duties by revealing confidential HIPAA info. But they need to to get certain things done.

So, a request to seal the motion.

That's as close as I can get. Nothing about any medical condition really makes sense to me.

<modsnip - mentioning PMs> Guess there's a lot I don't know. I haven't really gone to sites outside of this one.

It can not be psychology-related in a big way, because to do neuropsychological tests would take time. If it were something obvious (e.g. psychosis), the public defenders would try to use it for insanity plea and they did not. Likewise, anything else that would be immediately obvious (e.g. seizures).

So it has to do with something that could be detected easily upon admission. Either physical exam or labwork or toxicology screen.

Lab work, btw, may not necessarily imply STD as some people assumed. An indication of an overactive thyroid or something like it might be a debatable issue, for example.

Or even, THC in urine given it is Colorado. Anything that could have dubious interpretation.

DNA was the thing I was thinking about a lot and decided that whatever it was, it could not explain him killing two daughters, so, irrelevant.

Or am I missing something and it was it about prior health records?

Then, anything that could not be used for the defense but some private condition that would cause humiliation if revealed. Or some of SW’s diagnoses. Even in the worst case scenario, it could not explain killing the girls, still.

Statements to prison doctors or crazy behavior observed by medical staff is HIPAA info.

Aren’t health care providers allowed to breach the HIPAA if it’s, say, injuries sustained during a crime? Any chance he’s trying to hide some injury from Sunday night? Would LE have inspected his body upon arrest, or is that not allowed without a bunch of red tape?

No. That would not be granted.

This is exactly what I was thinking. Statements to prison doctors. Statements to people on the sealed visitor list confessing/justifying.

If you do find it in the next few days I would like to see it. Is it really true that CW's mother and sister did not attend his wedding?

Edited to add: if so, this changes his whole family dynamic for me and what Shanann was up against.

Yes. But that came from the perspective of someone who loathes Shanann. Shanann had a very different account. And there was mention of the grandmother purposefully giving another grandchild an ice cream with nuts in front of the one who was allergic.

Who does that? To me that's a pathological desire to undermine parental authority. To the point where you're willing to take an unnecessary risk or make a child feel bad, just to assert control or make a point.

So there's so much going on behind the scenes. Things I had no idea of. I had no idea what Shanann was truly up against. None at all.

This case breaks my heart. I am so amazed at Shanann's strength in the face of adversity and rejection.

I am inspired by her inspiration to others. I wish I could have had at least a 3 minute conversation with this woman, as it probably would have been life changing.

I had no idea what she was up against. And still she shined every single day, inspired others, was an amazing mother and partner to the killer.

This woman was not perfect. Who the hell is? But she sure did wake up every day striving to be the best she could be for herself, her babies, her husband, family and friends.

The new info made it harder for me I guess. Especially knowing people were defending him. It's just such a horrific case. That's all

That’s how I remembered it too. It was posted in a support group for parents of children with nut allergies. The comments by SW in that group can be found online.
...As I said in another post serious SP mom vibes from Mrs.Watts. Disdain for the outspoken, NATURALLY charming, bubbly DIL who “snagged” her golden boy son who she doesn’t deserve (IMO)

Let's just say the relationship between this VI and S was strained, as the VI admitted.

It seemed that VI either missed the point or chose to ignore it. It did not matter where the nuts were in the kitchen, or that they were unopened, it was the fact, as stated by SW, that Celeste had a deadly allergy to tree nuts, and the very presence of nuts, could trigger anaphylaxis. She said that her MIL was aware of this but had the nuts in the house regardless. The following day the MIL gave another child an ice cream which had nuts on it, in front of Celeste. When SW reproached her MIL she was told " she has to learn that she can't have everything she wants". At that point SW took the girls and left and said she would not be returning. She told CW who then remonstrated with his mother.

This is a friendly reminder that is against TOS to discuss PMs, request PMs, or mention PMs.

If you want to private message someone, just do it and don’t mention it. It’s a bit like whispering in someone’s ear about somone else. Other posters feel left out of the loop. It’s not polite.

Thank you!

I guess knowing the horror of how Shanann and her babies died was bad enough. But now hearing the horror of the uphill battle that she was fighting from the beginning, and winning, realizing the strength that took, makes me so much sadder if that were possible for the loss of Shannan. It's mean and cruel and unfair.

Sorry... I didn't know. New to PMs
