Will the autopsies be released? Rather than strangling the girls, doesn’t anyone think he overdosed them somehow. I know I am just catching up here and this may have been discussed. How do you place your hands around your child’s neck and strangle her? Oh heck what am I saying? How could you drug them? I just can’t wrap my head around this!

I know. It takes awhile to strangle someone to death. At least several moments of horror when his babies were wide-eyed with fear and pain and struggled to take his hands away from their necks.

Not one, but two. And then their mother.

I can only imagine the intense hate and/or desperation necessary to such a monstrosity.

And yet, he first expected everyone to believe that Shanann killed two children in two separate bedrooms in the moment that he stepped out of the room.

And she did so because he told her he had a girlfriend, something she had suspected for quite awhile, without committing any homicides.

Bless her.
I forgot to say this, She is awesome. We are so very proud of her. She still drives us all crazy because she doesn't think logically or I should say, her thinking isn't the same as ours. People who don't know us personally, would never know she had Asbergers. In fact, she would tell you she doesn't. We never told her, we just acted like she was "normal". We love her with every fiber in our being and we know she likes us. As long as she knows that she is loved, it is enough.

Or maybe they didn't miss every sign. They just denied that those signs were present. Because he was "perfect."
Oh true. I also, for some of them, think they may have hated her enough to believe she caused her own death or deserved it. JMO

Listening to him speak during his news interviews, I could literally feel brain cells dying.

I fear that I may never recover. I wonder if this is grounds for a lawsuit...

He was just so sure of himself, like someone who had spent their whole life being told how smart they were, how much better they were (and I bet he was raised believing it) that they had no concept the majority of people here watching knew he did by all of his slips and his general demeanor.

Is there a timeline posted of that last weekend? Is it substantiated that on Saturday night he had a babysitter for the girls, or is that just a rumor? Was the birthday party Sunday afternoon? He was next seen grilling alone Sunday evening, and then Shannan was expected to return home that night, though her return was delayed until wee hours of the next day? I am trying to understand when he might have last seen AP-- Saturday night? Was there any time on Sunday?

MassGuy, with others here, feeling the same, we better start a 'Class Action'.
We have a few lawyers here.
Hang on!:D
They will probably feel the same, and be in our 'Class Action'.

“Chris, you’re so smart. You just counted to 10 all by yourself.”

He was 25 at the time...

Yeah he completely lacked self awareness in those interviews. He was convinced that he could play the role of a concerned husband and father.

It takes a special kind of arrogance to believe that you can pull something like that off.

Fortunately, for the sake of justice, he’s a complete failure.

I remember telling a psychologist that my daughter could lie so well. And then cry and make you feel almost guilty for not believing her. He said, she isn't lying, She is in her own world and if you don't catch her while it's happening she doesn't know she did it. This was well before her asberger diagnoses. As she got older, she would cry every time she tried to lie. Now she just doesn't answer. LOL She can only lie, if no one asks her questions. I ask lots of questions, to which she has learned to reply I don't know. She is very smart. She could not then nor could she now steer someone in a different direction. She also did not show any emotion. She does now. I hate to say this but I don't believe she ever formed a real attachment to any of us, except her brother, and that's a love/hate relationship even now. For both of them. She is not a manipulator. I call her every day or I wouldn't probably hear from her. She does have an attachment to her husband, a strong one. She is still a work in progress but I worked extremely hard so that she could one day live on her own.

Thank you, for opening up MCDRAW.:):):)
You have done well, doing all you can, due to the love you have for your wonderful daughter.
I would think, at times, it was very hard for you, to help her progress.
Perhaps without you, working hard continually, she would not have the life she has now, being married with a strong attachment to her husband.

I haven't seen a timeline or confirmation he had a babysitter for Saturday night, either. That's a rumor right now, from my understanding. So as to when he last saw AP, I think is unconfirmed. If there were communications between CW that weekend, texts, calls, whatever, LE would probably have that.

I hope we find out all of those things, and also the nature of the communications between CW and SW when she was in Arizona. Were they arguing, nice to one another, etc.?

It has never been fully substantiated except that the neighbour said his daughter babysat the kids on Saturday night.
Seeing that she had been in NC for the six Saturdays before and had only been home three days when she went to AZ for the weekend, I presumed it was the Saturday preceding the murders.

Chris Watts' parents break their silence after son's guilty plea in murder of wife, daughters

The couple said they are devastated about the deaths of their grandchildren and daughter-in-law but are still not convinced the world has been told what they say is the full story.

“He’s not a sociopath. He’s not a psychopath,” Cindy Watts said of her son.

The North Carolina couple said they are just trying to find the truth and are frustrated because they say they weren’t allowed to get those answers before their son's plea agreement.

“I asked Chris, ‘If you did not do this, do not confess to something you didn’t do.’ She shut me down. She completely shut me down,” Cindy Watts said, referring to Chris Watts’ defense attorney.

His parents have many of questions after he confessed to killing Shanann, claiming he saw her strangle their kids to death beforehand.

“He said, ‘I’m sorry. I lost — I went into a rage, and I killed her.’ And he said, ‘I am so sorry. I ruined your life; I ruined my life,’ Mrs. Watts said.

“After the fact with the bodies, he said, ‘Dad, I could not put the girls with her after what she did — I could not put her with her,’” Ronnie Watts said.

“And so, instead of putting the girls with her, he decided to put her in oil tanks?” Denver7 asked him.

“I don’t understand. I don’t understand,” Mr. Watts replied.

Hopefully this will quiet those that still think he didn't do and is pleading guilty for some other reason.

Hopefully, by this time exactly a week from now, we know most of the answers to the questions we are asking.

I thought we’d be waiting years.
