It is substantiated.I always wonder the same thing. As I mentioned before, imagine how he must have felt if he was given an ultimatum that night, if he didn't leave his family he wouldn't have anything on the side anymore. The hatred towards his family that could have spurred, in a man who could not be honest, make a decision, go for divorce.
I do not think it is unusual for them to monitor the conversations because they are recorded and anything revealed could be used against him. It is safe to say his parents would want to ask what happened and any version Chris would give would be scrutinized for inconsistencies. I don’t see it any different than lawyers who accompany their clients to interviews, they are there to protect their client. I don’t know specifically in this case but in general attorneys are not allowed to dictate who their clients communicate with. As to the remote access, maybe that had to do with restrictions with inmates in his position, how all visits are handled outside of his lawyers. Edited to add I would not be surprised if they monitored all his conversations.BBM
Can I ask? Do we definitely know that CW doesn't/didn't want to see his family? I ask, because all I got from the interviews was that they were not allowed to see him and when they did, it was separately, via remote access and monitored by his legal team. Is this usual?
To nutmeg, not sure how I quoted your post but that was not intentional, I will blame it on my cat
