Apple didn’t fall far from the tree. In fact it’s hanging on a loose branch.....moo“Put it that way” sounds suspiciously like “I’ll just leave it at that” JMO
They need to get in touch with famed lawyer Vinny Gambini. He was able to get his nephew and his friend off of a murder charge, when they allegedly shot and killed a store clerk in rural Alabama.
Similarly, these two were railroaded by an overzealous prosecutor, and shoddy police work.
Vinny and his feisty fiancé, Mona Lisa Vito, are held in high esteem in legal circles.
Hopefully they can help the Watts family out!

Surely he can consider all he likes but he can’t take the case unless CW seeks alternative counsel smhScott Reisch has commented on this Punked YouTube video that he is considering taking the case
After. He said he’s talked with family and is considering case.
This! If he was ruled mentally incompetent we would know it by now....you have the right to an attorney not the right to your mummy nor as an adult do you have to listen to your mummy, CWs mum needs to wise up imoThe family does not have the authority to hire him though. He is 33 yrs old and that decision is up to him.
These interviews are atrocious. Prior to these, I was believing the Watts to be silently grieving, respectful of the Rzucek family, horrified at what their own son did. After seeing his mother flap her jaw, I have completely changed my opinion on them. So disgusting!!
And a letter. Right. What would the DA benefit from destroying evidence that could help his client.
I really, really hope the autopsies contain this overwhelming evidence we've all been waiting for. I have been fearing the girls' TOD will be inconclusive, further fueling the pro-CWgroups. It would be glorious to see them all eat crow.
It seems Cindy is choosing to ignore everything Chris did. She seems to think this will go to trial and somehow prove SW killed the kids and then voila Chris can come home.
I am astounded that they couldn't even muster up ONE nice or kind of nice thing to say about their murdered daughter-in-law. Even something generic like, "Shan'ann was so good to her mother and was a great big sister to her brother."
Instead, they just criticize and bash and blame. Apparently their parents didn't teach them that speaking ill of the dead is not a good look, especially when the person has been murdered by your own son.
I strongly believe that his mom will never accept that he did this, no matter what evidence is revealed.I can imagine where it is coming from.
My grandparents raised my mom and her brother very devoted to each other.
However, if there was one thing best unifying my mom and her mother, it was their dislike of my uncle's first wife. You just had to say her name, and you'd get an earful. At this, both my mom and my grandma socially were very graceful, and kept perfect facade.
They expected their son/brother to marry someone else. They didn't think his wife was a good choice. And while I always heard from external sources that his ex-fiancee suited him better, after all, the decision was my uncle's one.
My grandma was not alive when he left his family to marry his second wife, but my mom, I know, was quite supportive of her as opposed to the First Wife.
And from paternal side, I have seen enough family dynamics to understand that being an in-law is not peaches.
As to CW's parents, their whole world turned upside down. If, as some say, they knew about AP, then perhaps they heard a very brushed up version from CW, and they probably expected a very different ending to the affair. Instead, they heard horrible news. I imagine how one's brain would refuse to think logically.
But now CW has confessed. And his parents either have to say to themselves, "yes, our son has killed our granddaughters", and live with the guilt for giving birth to him all their lives, or use the defense they are now resorting to. (Which is: "SW took away our boy and totally changed him. We don't know what she did, used poisons, incantations, what not, probably, but he went mad and killed them". This is why they speak about the "trigger").
This is their today's defence. "SW's fault". But - it is the last bastion, and it's very shaky. I wonder who will be the first one to surrender (my guess is, it will be the dad), but they will have to accept the truth.
I hope it happens before the sentencing. I think they will never leave him, though.

If there was a video of him committing this crime, she would claim it was doctored.
She will live the rest of her days in denial.
Then she will go to her grave, a bitter twisted woman, where Shanann was loved by anyone who really knew her and lots of people who did not know her.Agree. Shanann is dead and Mama Watts is still in competition with her. She will never give in.
Yes, they are. It's a bunch of hooey. MOO
How could SW 'isolate' him from his family? He had a cell phone. He could have called any of his family members any and every day. He worked at least 8 hours a day. How would she stop him from calling home? Or texting or emailing or face timing them?
Who. exactly denied them' contact with their son? If Chris had wanted to call them from jail, during his allotted phone time, he could have. His attorneys could not prevent that.
I think they are lashing out at the wrong people. JMO
He is a personal injury lawyer. How many murder trIals has he been on I wonder...
Does he realize CW is the one hiring and firing here, not his mother?
