The theory is that it is a bit of a mix.

Having a screwed up childhood doesn’t mean you will turn into a serial killer.

But if you have some sort of biological predisposition to that sort of thing, coupled with a terrible childhood, then bad things can happen.

Plus, we don't know if Ted was the result of an incest. If he were, he probably knew, or guessed at a certain point. He was very smart.

It might have screwed him up even more. I don't believe one incestuous case would beget a serial killer, as human race used to be more incestuous in the past, but the mere thought that Ted's birth was the result of breaking a major taboo might have had a profound effect on him. (Nothing good can be said about his maternal grandfather, btw; he was horribly abusive).

Probably, "how to get rid of three bodies in one trip".

(Sorry - I always thought he'd Google something about the bodies).
I reckon he may have googled decomp.....hence the dumping in crude oil, but despite all his planning he couldn’t get shanann through the hole smh moo

But she will never believe it. She will say that it was made up and he was framed.
Unfortunately, I'm beginning to believe you are right. The facts won't change just because they refuse to believe them.

The late Ann Rule wrote a great book about his crimes called “The Stranger Beside Me.” She actually worked with him at a crisis hotline.

She should take her case to the people who might listen - Netflix. If this family is motivated by money, they can try to get on Dr. Phil like the Anthonys. I would love to watch Phil try to keep it together while dealing with their delusional rants.

But I would prefer they retreat back to obscurity and devote the twilight of their lives to charity or some worthy cause. I know that’s not going to happen, though.

They can’t contain themselves in these ‘interviews’ so I think the mother especially may have an outburst in court on Monday
You know what else they didn't do? Show any (sad) emotion. Then Blamed SW. Not one mention of the kids. Apple apparently didn't fall far from the tree there.

Oh, I would love to see Dr. Phil pick them apart.

You’re right, Netflix could air a one sided documentary about this case, in which they attempt to trick people into believing in his innocence.

Just like “Making a Murderer.”

Maybe unsophisticated but I know many uneducated people who don't have a college degree, or even a GED, and they still wouldn't stoop to publicly shaming the dead.
I agree. This doesn't have a thing to do with education.

I have read it. The moment I like most is how they are going to a Christmas party together. Luckily for Ann, she was not of his "favorite" type.

They have a few horrible one sided shows. “The Staircase” is another one.

Since CW’s family is apparently not interested in the truth, they should shop their story around and see if anyone bites.

He grew up thinking his mom was his sister. It really screwed him up.
So did Jack Nicholson, and he did fine. :) Probably more to Bundy than his lame excuses, born psychopath, imo.

Shes getting worse. I didn't think it was possible, but I'm sure tonight she wont be able to hold back. It will probably make the last lot of interviews look 'nice'. Sadly, you would think she may reflect, take on board what people are saying and tone it down. But no, rotten apples lie together.. IMO, I think shes just getting started.

I hope Im proven wrong for the sake of SW's family and friends.

As for the grandkids, I wonder if she truly loved them. Often children are seen as reflections of the mother, who she despised. From what I recall she didnt go to their birthday parties etc, that says alot.
In all these interviews she has barely mentioned them. I take that as she didn't care a thing about them.

We haven’t learnt anything new by CWs parents ‘breaking their silence’ just had a lot of theories confirmed. There are no winners in this case but his parents, mother especially, are sounding like sore losers

Anyone else think Cindy didn't like SW from the start because SW was a year older, divorced, and was a strong woman? I bet Cindy wanted a nice quiet benevolent mouse to live next door to them with CW and take care of everyone. I have friends from Fredricks, they like 'traditional' women especially the overbearing mother types. Plus Southern culture etc. A good Southern girl. Cindy was disappointed in SW, and SW stood up to her. IMO

She was very focused on herself, just like her son in his interviews.

Yes I wonder how that came about. Did he write them a letter telling them he found his soulmate and she was so much better for him than mean ole Shanann.

It was probably in the same letter he wrote to his sister. Too bad his defense team may have destroyed it......

Yes. Shanann was definitely a “Type A” personality.

Cindy probably couldn’t deal with another strong woman to subvert her dominance.

It's fascinating seeing them actually. It makes a lot of sense now.

At this point, the only decent thing they could do would be to not fly to CO for CW’s sentencing. CW clearly didn’t want their version of help since his arrest. They should respect his wishes and Shan’ann’s grieving family and stay home in NC. Honestly, if they had any self awareness or self respect, they would not show up for the sentencing. They can visit him in prison later, if he allows it.
