i do not understand why the parents would get involved with the podcast crew. That letter is embrassing....

Mother clearly doesn't realise it has been Chris's choice to not engage with them..

Blame and non responsibility appear to be a family theme...

I was talking about "armchair diagnosing" his mum. I'm unclear as to why we are discussing past armchair diagnoses of SW when as far as I'm aware this is no longer being discussed and have moved on from SW speculations of possible involvement.

I for one would hope that people are mature enough to draw a line under this and leave it where it belongs save any future disharmony.
In regard to "diagnosing" his mother, I believe it is largely due to the fact that many people have known people who are Narcissistic, or have been in intimate relationships with such people. It is very easy to identify the signs and symptoms. There are so many common characteristics among those with the disorder that it is easy to spot the signs. You don't need to be a psychiatrist to make this conclusion. It's not a diagnosis, just an observation. People who have had experience with narcissists become very good at recognizing it in others. I am discussing irony and hypocrisy. Which I think is vital to preventing future disharmony.

Regardless, it is logical for us to attempt to understand the behavior of a murderer and those who support him and bash the victim.

It is logical to try to find reasons for behavior that goes far beyond the bounds of decency. Such as killing innocent wives and children or bashing dead murder victims.
I was discussing Cindy Watts and questioning reasons for the diagnosis. I think you may have misunderstood my line of thought. I appreciate you may not have an answer in this regard, therefore as it is out of the new TOS with regard to discussing SW I can't respond appropriately to the irony and hypocrisy you speak of, which is why I would prefer not to talk about her for the sake of peace in the group. I hope you can understand.

An S. It was in the letter to the judge from the podcast person.
Thank you! I thought maybe the lawyer called her the "B" word. Shocking.

It really is cringe-worthy, isn't it? I just reread it again when posting and had second hand embarrassment for everyone involved. They admitted Chris shut out his parents, and that his parents have been consistently stalking the PD office to the point of being sent to social workers, and because he won't speak to them, they want to hire their own lawyer for him (LOL) to investigate misconduct under our constitution. Oy.

I really can't fathom they thought that the letter and the judge's response would be filed by the court in public documents.

Thing is I have no clue if this letter is real or not or if there was any sort of abuse but this case aside is it that easy to just leave and take your kids with you?

It is one of the choices people would make. If you are in an unbearable situation, you can leave and go to a shelter, just leave, leave and go to your parents, take your kids to a doctor if there are signs of abuse, talk to a lawyer, go to a therapist, etc, etc. All of it is much easier and more normal than annihilation of the family. You can make a video or tape of the wife yelling at you. Some of these choices are better, some worse. And maybe taking the kids is not easy. But what he did instead - was it easy? Normal?

They should have had her put her own name on it, instead it looks like an ad for the fauxcast group. And lost all credibility...hey, I'm a friend of the family and the family wants to.....

I have a simple question, I was looking at something this morning, not here, and it said that CW's parents did not go to their wedding. Is that true does anyone know?
Yes, and she did NOT say they were not invited. She said she and Shanann never got along from the beginning and they did not attend the wedding.

I agree with you. If he wrote a letter then why not go further and record any abuse. I feel in that situation I would.

That letter is a disgrace. Good grief, no salutation, and it doesn't even reference the case or address the judge properly. That's just the first line. I could cite all the reasons why the author should be grossly embarrassed by that trash, but nobody got time for dat! Lol

He has had phone time daily as well as the ability to have visitors and write letters, but he hasn’t contacted them since his arrest in August.

They’re claiming they’ve been blocked from contacting him. They can’t just call and ask to be connected to his room like a hotel. If he hasn’t called, short of him actually being held hostage and denied his rights, he shut them out.

Mrs. Watts herself said that on TV a day or 2 ago. Shan'ann was dangerous. We didn't even go to the wedding.
"The couple reportedly said they believed their daughter-in-law was dangerous, and that they didn’t go to the wedding. Cindy Watts went so far as to say that Shanann Watts was “more capable” of killing the children than her son was.

“I would say she’s more capable than Christopher,” she said."

I so wish the reporter had asked her to elaborate on why they didn't go to the wedding. They thought she was dangerous. What on earth does that mean?

I was responding to this part of your post:

Snipped by me for clarity.

Well they are saying that now but were they saying that in 2012 when they did not go to the wedding? That is kind of my question.
What exactly was the reason they did not go to their own sons wedding?

Because she "stole" CW from them? Looks like she was trying to give CW an ultimatum....her or us. I wish now he would have chosen the folks.

Okay, I had to step away for a day, it was getting to me; the insane Watts family behavior and the attacks on Shanann. When will it end?

Who is the person who wrote the letter for Mrs. Watts?

A "producer" for that murder group. The one who got herself into the plea hearing.

Right? We all have agency. Even under the most traumatic cases (such as the Turpin children: Escaping that home, under those conditions? With no means of financial support, no plan after escaping, or what that even meant? A lifetime of severe emotional and physical abuse - and yet they knew better. )

It’s insulting to think some grown man can’t figure this out.

He showed who he IS.
