Genuine question - can we say positive things about her character? Because I think she showed A LOT of character in her actions following SW and the girls going missing.

Yes, absolutely. As I said, she reminds me of Amber Frey and I had only positive feelings about her. Positivity is good.

So I guess Cindy Watts will have a new woman to hate and she can finally stop blaming Shanaan? Think of it! This poor girl was lied to by CW and now Cindy will be on her like a bloodhound.

I heard your story, I want to commend you for sharing and also for taking the steps to separate from your family. Our society tends to make us feel family before anything or anyone else but I disagree. Being a blood relative does not mean you have to endure unhealthy relationships. My mother is borderline NPD and I keep contact to a respectable minimum, she is just so unlpleasant to be around, she is really just flat out mean. I am the baby of the family, the golden child, so she does not project on to me nearly as much as she does my siblings. The day I graduated high school my father divorced her, he has been married to his second wife for 20 years now and I am so grateful they found each other. When he first married her he kept repeating “ she is just so nice”.

It is great that he is now happy.
I agree about 'blood relatives', that sometimes these unhealthy relationships, need to be at a minimum.
Perhaps this is what CW is now doing with his Mum.

I am guessing it was...reporters often contact parties involved for a statement and I am guessing they contacted the Watts family...who then let it slip to the podcasters. But they weren't fast enough to beat Denver Post to press! IMO

Where did we get the idea Shanann was constantly checking CW's phone? Unless he had two phones. Or was it an attempt to mislead us, that Shanann was controlling?

The VI who was his 'friend' told us that SW had full access to his devices.

Wednesday morning - August 15, she went to police.

"While at work Aug. 14, she texted Watts, pushing him to tell what he knew about their disappearance and asking what he had done. He told her he would never hurt his family, she said.

“It got to a point that he was telling me so many lies that I eventually told him that I did not want to speak to him again until his family was found,” she said.

Kessinger checked the news in hopes that Shanann and the girls would be found. The next morning, she called the Weld County Sheriff’s Office to tell them about her relationship with Watts and his lies, she said. She met with FBI investigators that day."

I wonder about not knowing about sw fb. Also, did they meet up all those times in cw house in july? SW's name must have been all around, if so. I would have looked sw up on sm, if it were me. Or maybe NK had an apartment. But the subject must have come up about where he lived. Did they get together saturday night? Inquiring minds want to know.

Agree. It would be very interesting to know what he looked and acted like at the house that Sunday night/Monday morning. And at the oil tank field. And at home that night. Was he angry, aggressive, crying then, laughing, freaked out or what? We know what the Thayers and porch were like. He’s had 3 months to think about things, but I agree, the tears now in court?.....hmm.

The irony of the porch interviews, and CW describing how unbearable his quiet, "ghost town" home was, is that he'd just spent 6 weeks alone in his house! His dupers delight, exuberance, was nearly palatable! As for Monday morning, I believe CW was on a mission to discard his family and the evidence; eyes straight ahead, and without emotion. MOO

Apparently this is *not* the bombshell. I think that was also said earlier upthread but I can't find it!

The fan club is not going to like this AP because she is attractive and calling him a liar. I think what she called and told LE backs up what was also stated in the affidavit - that LE learned of an affair that CW had not disclosed to them. She called them. Good on her.
