I still think he killed the girls first and planned on killing them all along. If he planned to kill SW then unexpectedly “had” to kill the girls, I would think it would even be hard for a bonafide sociopath to not be sad over the girls being dead the next day.

Yes, this was my feeling too, and every bit of drip-fed information coming in just solidifies that feeling.. I believe this was well and truly pre-planned.

I give her a lot of respect for coming forward. In an earlier post, someone used Amber Frey’s name as a verb. I thought that was clever. Nickol definitely Amber Frey’d this investigation. Knowing she’d get unwanted attention and be splattered in the media. That takes guts.

Absolutely. I find her to be credible and clearly a decent person who did the right thing - not just because she thought she “should”, but because she genuinely cared and was very worried about what could have happened to SW and the girls.

All credit to her for how she handled this terrible situation. It must have been frightening. Another of CW’s victims. So awful.

Still watching this extended interview . I can’t believe she never shows much emotion. I would be gasping for air. Talking about the “loss” of my son and death of my grandkids. Her eyes got a little wet once in a while but not a drop leaving her eyes. And I have it on a big screen!

If she doesn't "stop" talking like this, she might be soon blamed for his actions. I wouldn't do this, but people want to know, why Chris did, what he did and what drove him from a seemingly normal young man to a cold hearted murderer. What was really *inside* his mind. Mothers often seem to play a big role in the way a man behaves towards his wife or other woman. This could lead people to believe that she was somehow responsible for his mental state.

Clearly, nobody found it relevant at any point. Not LE, not the DA, and not even the defense. That tells us all we need to know about this “letter.”

Just a transparent effort at garnering attention and holding on to what little relevance they have.

Exactly. What makes her story credible, is that she behaved in the exact manner that someone would behave, had they been misled by someone like CW.

She didn’t hope against hope that law enforcement wouldn’t connect her to CW.

She didn’t approach LE days later.

She approached them as soon as she realized that something nefarious had occurred.

This truly is Amber Frey all over again.

They are getting very puffed up with their own importance. If this 'letter' was of any importance it would be in the hands of the defence team, not a couple of jumped up Miss Marple's with a blog/podcast.

If indeed they do get it 'tested' - after grifting the $$$'s to pay from it out of their gullible supporters - I fully expect the resulting hilarity to be on a par with the comically inept and irrelevant 'Letter to the Judge' their pal submitted to the Court.

Ironically “the letter” is more helpful to the prosecution. It’s evidence of pre-planning IMO. His family were really taken down the rabbit hole, and they’ve taken random strangers on the internet down the same hole with them. People really ate that up. More fool them.

Exactly! And when the reporter asked her for an example, all she could come up with was SW was critical of CW's Skater boy clothes, and his generous use of hair gel. I suppose we can hope that Mrs. Watts will view these interviews one day and come to terms with the hatred she put out. MOO

Mama Watts blames SW for all of this. She told CW not to marry her.

Now look what happened. CW was so unhappy with his life because of SW. She made him miserable.

Mama Watts didn’t seem too disturbed when discussing the fact CW had an affair. The poor boy had no choice married to that horrible woman. Then, he just lost it after so many years of torment. Her poor son.

Edited to add: and the poor girls. Just collateral damage to an unfortunate event due to their mother’s tormented relationship with their father. And Nico. Well Chris wasn’t excited about him anyway.

Right?! It also seriously cut into his “he did ALL the housework” time. Poor little muffin, he did “x” amount of hours of housework, while she “only” did “y”. Give the guy a cookie and a gold star. It’s called adulting. (Lest anyone forget: she carried -to term- two beautiful girls, and she carried little Nico for 15 weeks/24/7! She sure didn’t use that as justification to cheat, let alone kill.)

This completely reeks of premeditation: •he found his next victim. •Took off his ring. •Planned for an apartment. • Told neighbors he was going to sale the home. •Told NK the divorce was done. • planned burial/dump sites.

This was not a sudden “emotional conversation” nor “oops, my bad” incident.
