Ugh. I listened to the whole "sesh". Your summary is accurate.

They also say they have seen "the letter" and are planning to get a handwriting expert on the case to analyse it for some reason.

So his mystery missive is handwritten not typed. I'm not sure anyone cares at this point.

My favorite part of the podcast was when one of the hosts blew her nose without muting her mic. I was like, did I really just hear that??? Had to re-wind and listen again and yup, she did it. So professional...

We have our 'partial motive' prior to sentencing.:(:(
The texts to the Mistress, I would think.
Can there possibly be another 'bombshell'!
Hope CW's mother hears about this.
MOO.
You know she would just twist the facts around to try and weasel CW out of any blame though. You can slap people like that in the face with THE TRUTH and they only see what they want to see. IMOO, CW's mother is a lost cause.

@MassGuy (said by on 50 - SBM-)
Confirmation bias can be a powerful thing, and this podcast just gives these vile people what they want:

Rumors, innuendo, and lies on which they can fuel their campaign of hate against an innocent victim and her family.

I still dont see his plan, if he convinced the world the family had run away or been taken, still it would be in the news that they were married and pregnant. The only way that would not blow his story is if they divorced very quickly. Even if he had wanted to kill just her, no matter how he did it the news would say she was pregnant.

I never thought he was particularly intelligent, but how did he plan to reconcile all of this and keep the ap too?
I expect others may have replied with the same answer I'm about to give, but the liar would say she cheated on him and the baby wasn't his. Moo.

A lot of it sounds very familiar to many of us. Especially when she talked about how she did not like it when her son was criticized to her face, especially the " how he looked like a skater boy" comment.
Wasn't that "skater boy" episode about 8 years ago? What a thing to remember and hold on to and let fester. Was probably a light-hearted joke anyway from Shan'ann.

I sincerely doubt that's possible. I think that she is the way she is, and her relationship with Shanann isn't some sort of blip on the radar.
My mother is EXACTLY like this and would be behaving the same way if my brother (who recently went through a divorce with 3 kids) had murdered his wife and children. It's sick! My mother, who was abandoned at age 2 by her own mother and has a huge fear of abandonment. She is completely enmeshed with my brothers who are 32 and 34. When my brother was going through his divorce because he got caught cheating, the first thing my mom did was get on social media bad-mouthing his wife for all the world to see. There was so responsibility there and she taught my brothers that it's never their fault, that they are always right and that awful things only happen to them. I can hear my mom saying, she must have done something to cause it, if this were happening in my family and it's scary. I get the sense that that's where Cindy is at and I honestly don't know what could be done to help her change her thinking. My mother refuses to even hear it when we try to point it out and my brothers benefit from it so they'll never point it out. It's very sad to see this and to know that Cindy's road to recovery is going to last so long if she can't ever accept the truth. She may never accept it and in her mind she may always see it as Shanann's fault.

Absolutely. But the truth about the offense was that Cindy was picking out the Skater boy clothing, and buying his hair gel!
Good point! So it was personal to Cindy.

I think so to. He had all that time without them and then had them that weekend and it was a reality check for him. As disgusting as it is to say, I think he didn’t want the hassle. MOO

Makes me sick to my stomach but I think this is spot on

MRS are saying it’s technical issues keeping them off iTunes. Lol. I’m guessing someone reported them. They also aren’t allowing anyone to post about their letter to the judge

I guess "technically " iTunes shut them down!

How sad the podcast hosts get so excited about the autopsy results, and how horrific the state of bodies were. These are real people and they don’t seem to get that. Can you imagine SW’s family having to deal with all this and have people joke around about it? They lost their innocent daughter and grandchildren and these hosts feel so great about themselves because they got “inside info” first. How despicable.

The girls' bodies had to be flown separately because they were combustible. The oil acted as a preservative. They do not know anything about DNA.
Ah, I believe he probably added the petroleum/gas to the oil tanks.

I was wondering how he thought he would get away with leaving them in the oil, but it seems to me he may have had clearance for making decisions on oil disposal if there was any contamination. If this is true he probably thought the petrol might burn them or even self-combust in the tanks. I have no idea what I'm talking about scientifically btw.

From the Court Order granting Expanded Media Coverage (EMC) for Chris Watts Sentencing on 19 November 2018, the Order includes a "Standing Decorum Order" dated August 20, 2018 which shall remain in effect.

The Order states:

The Standing Decorum Order filed on August 20, 2018 shall remain in effect. As a reminder, among other things, no electronic devices regardless of there use shall be permitted to be used in the courtroom. An overflow courtroom will be available in Division 16. The Standing Decorum Order and this Order shall also be in effect and enforced in Division 16.

Question: Does the Court consider a cellular smart phone, iphone, tablet, notebook computer, etc. to be an electronic device not permitted to be used in the courtroom? If not permitted, regardless of there use, is it correct to assume there will be no live tweets during the proceedings?

From what I've heard, they're a couple of people who run a nasty FB group that spread gossip and rumors. They have a podcast (audio show) and have weaseled information out of some of the case players under the guise of "helping" them. I don't listen, but have been told they spent the first 10 minutes of one podcast asking for money, they gush all over each other ad nauseam and one of them has a voice that sounds like nails on a chalkboard. They also have some coffee mugs for sale with bloody handprints on them. Oh, and their producer/media specialist is the one who attended the last hearing and wrote to the judge to ask that he call CW's mother. MOO
Thank you to everyone that answered my questions about this! I fell asleep last night and didn't get another chance to comment. I find it very disturbing and disheartening. The internet is a great thing but it also gives more people an opportunity to behave badly and spread their vileness and gossip to the world. My head is reeling from all this new information. I don't know what to believe. I guess we will find out on Monday. I'm still not current with the thread but I imagine the same thing is being discussed, unless something new came up. God knows what's happened since last night!

@Tricia are you going to have another podcast after this latest development?

Crude oil can be highly flammable and combustible. It is the refining of crude that gets us petroleum so it wouldn’t really make sense for him to add gas to it.

Shanann Watts

I wonder if this is right around the time the mistress says he approached her?
