I agree. We'll see if they continue on the same path they have been going down.

The timing of Ma Watt's acceptance of Chris' admission of guilt in his plea is also quite interesting, IMO. How did she get from where she was to where she says she is now, in literally the blink of an eye? Her statement almost sounded like a bit of a retraction to me.

JMO, I think something happened that may have shut them all up. I hope.
I agree.

Maybe someone got in trouble for releasing sensitive autopsy details and it worked its way down to their show.
I imagine there would be plenty of people who would be furious about that.

What do you think Shanann would think of all this?

I think she'd be saddened at the way her SM videos have been analyzed, twisted and judged in the meanest way in the court of "public" opinion by CW's fan club, especially the way people have criticized her upbringing of the girls who she clearly adored.

I think she'd be horrified at Mother Watts' lack of decency, compassion, and her bashing on the media circuit.

Its unfathomable that a pregnant murder victim is bashed and called an abuser/bully etc.

I think she'd be proud of the dignified way her family have handled the horror that's unfolded.

From what we know of SW's character, I think she'd want justice for herself, Nico, CeCe and Bella. She'd likely be generous enough to forgive Mother Watts for her vitriol.

Well the MRS podcast appearing to implode is interesting. If the autopsy details they released are genuine, surely they have broken the law? It’s under seal by a court of law.
You'd think there would be some sort of chain of custody on it, and authorities could tell who did the disclosing. I wonder if the victim families had to sign some sort of NDA if they were given advance copies. Or summaries.

I feel certain that she is the reason CW deleted his Facebook. And that VI who came on here with so much disdain and nastiness for Shan'ann claimed he deleted it because CW's WIFE continued to post nice things. The gall of her! But I guess if you are telling your new mistress that your divorce is finalized, that would be awkward. The fact that they were seeing each other 4 t0 5 times a week -- there was no way to pull that off with his wife in town. It was all about to crash in on him and so he chose the murder route. MOO.

This, I reckon, is spot on. MOO

I don't think that Mrs Watts would honour any agreement. She felt quite free to slander her son's defence team.

Whatever happened that night, and I believe it was pre-planned and brutal, you have to consider the size, weight, and strength difference. And then you add in that Shanann was 15 weeks pregnant, didn't feel well, and was very tired, all of which were exacerbated by the flight delay and wanting to be home. Finally, also add in surprise, as in; surprise attack! Shanann had reached, what she no doubt felt, was the safety and comfort of her home, regardless of issues to be dealt with. Her guard would be down and she would be very vulnerable. I have no doubt CW planned that and reveled in it and the nightmare began! Monday we'll know much more (gulp, shudder).
Do you guys think Shanann had any idea that Chris was a monster? I know that the VI's didn't ever see any abuse, I just wonder if maybe there could have been?

I don’t think she did, if she had any clues/signs I don’t think she would have left the girls alone with him that weekend.

People see and don't see what they want to and don't want to.

I hope that person doesn't walk into the courtroom because if they do, they may be quickly held and detained by the bailiff.

I thought about that/them today. Beautiful, sunny, warm day today in NC. Weekend before T-Giving. And I thought to myself, instead of them getting ready for a nice holiday, they are having to fly to frickin’ CO to deal with all this. When most everyone else flying and arriving there will be happy and meeting each other. Makes me mad.

It makes me mad, too. It was all so unneeded, so crazy and such nonsense for him to kill his beautiful family. So wicked and so nutty. Something is evil and broken in his very core. MOO

See page 2, #12 https://www.courts.state.co.us/userfiles/file/Court_Probation/19th_Judicial_District/caseofinterest/2018CR2003/Written Waiver and Guilty Plea.pdf

Yes, I'm almost certain all of the local channels will stream it, but here's what I have handy:

The Denver Channel: Denver, Colorado Live Video Stream | thedenverchannel.com
Denver7 Facebook: Denver7
Pommy, do you recall when the autopsy is supposed to be released? I think it was after the sentencing, but the next day?

Thanks Pommy. The Denver Channel is good for the EU. A lot of the other local stations block us pesky Europeans.

Abuse comes in many forms. It can be sly/passive-aggressive and emotional abuse.
Subtle put downs, invalidation, snarkiness, eye rolls, etc. That's CW's style, because he's a coward and a lout.
Nobody knows what happens behind closed doors.
But I think SW was a fighter and she would have fought to try to save her marriage for the sake of the girls.
I think she may have had doubts about CW's weak character but imo, she never thought him capable of murder.

I've just got to re-watch the porch interviews knowing now that NK had been led to believe they were divorced. Just imagine the processes that were going through her mind that Tuesday as it all unfolded, with him saying the house was like a ghost town and he couldn't bear being there alone, and those dogs barking away behind him. Wonder if she was watching it live at work, or if she only saw it that evening on the news.

What a rude awakening.

I would think there would be legal consequences. As well as the suggestion that the Thayers were implicated. Is Gitana1 here?

Freedom of speech is in our Constitution which I do respect. Nobody is forced to listen or agree with any opinion. That's reality. JMO

The Constitution protects speech from being thwarted or censured by the GOVERNMENT. That's it.

The first amendment - free speech - has zero to do with private persons or some inalienable right that citizens have to speak their mind without risk of judgment, condemnation or other consequences unrelated to government control of speech.

That's fact.

Within 24 hours of sentencing, IIRC.
