Oh my, so many Aussie mates on this board. I have traveled to Sydney numerous times. Good memories. Delicious Kiwis (taste different than here in the US), and Singapore noodles (strange but true, in Sydney).

Sorry you guys have to wake up so early or stay up late to catch the sentencing live.

Pity you hadn't come to Melbourne, known for its great Cuisine.
There is a rivalry with Melbourne and Sydney folk, and we tease/bicker +++.

Yeah, I agree.

I’m just hoping for facts, ones that shed some light on what happened that day.

Autopsy findings, a more solid timeline, and an overview of digital records.

In sentencings I’ve watched previously, the judge often goes into great detail about what they did and therefore why they’re being sentenced what they’re being sentenced. So we may learn a lot there, plus the DA’s press conference. Then the autopsy reports and down the track the interrogation video (I hope - I really want to see this) and hopefully a digital dump too.

Then stand by for all the Dateline type shows!

Wow. That’s a really good point. If Cindy isn’t there, then I think the odds of CW addressing the court goes up exponentially.
Exactly! That was my prediction a couple threads ago when @gitana1 posed the question.

I am so sorry BabyButterfly, I truly can't imagine what that must have been like for you and all of Shanann's friends and family. It probably still seems unreal

Thank you. It really doesn't seem real. I have to say, you all here, have kept me sane. Tomorrow is going to be so very hard.

One of the Denver TV stations (can't remember which) said they anticipate having the autopsy reports later in the day after the sentencing.
At a bare minimum, we will hear about the autopsy findings during the DA’s press conference at 1:00 PM local time.

They will be released no later than 24 hours after sentencing, but I fully expect to see them at some point tomorrow.

We have better weather! :p

Someone who knew CW, when she heard that they were missing's first thought was 'What has she done?' Meaning SW.
It was @Trinket78 on September 10th but I don't know how to bring the post over.

Gitana you've been right so far so I think you could be right on this! Did you see the post that Mr. Watts will be attending the hearing? I wonder if that means Cindy won't be there?

No matter what they say, I truly hope they apologize to Shanann's family!

I won’t hold my breath, but I really hope they apologise too. A real apology, not a fake one.

No one deserves to be murdered because they called someone a Skater Boy!

Haaaa. Dateline, 48 Hours, 20/20, ID Discovery specials, there will be no shortage of coverage on this case.

I’m sure a Lifetime Movie is in the works, and my favorite “author” will write some more pointless drivel about this case.

Do we know if any of Shan'ann's friends will be making victim impact statements?

Now, I wonder who that could be? :p

It would really surprise me if she wasn't there, but it is odd that they don't mention her. MOO
Maybe CW has asked, having been appraised of recent media interviews, via his attorneys that his mother not attend? Also, so he doesn't have to face her. IMO

A lot probably won't come out tomorrow. It may take awhile. Like interrogation videos.

Will he be allowed to grant interviews in the future from prison, “Dateline style”?

There is a law of course that he can not profit from his crimes, right?

Maybe one day he will speak from prison.

—-

I know I always say this, but I wonder if he’d let me interview him (even though I’m not sure I’d really want to).

(I can just see it now, “Hey Chris, I’m a huge Metallica fan too...nice plank...”)

Watts family murders: Chris Watts scheduled to be sentenced Monday

The sentencing hearing is scheduled to begin at 10 a.m. Monday. Denver7 will stream the full hearing live on TheDenverChannel.com, on Facebook, Twitter and on TV streaming devices.

19th Judicial District Attorney Michael Rourke could also speak following the hearing and it’s possible that the autopsy reports for Shanann, Bella and Celeste could be released in the hours or days that follow.

On Thursday, a judge granted Watts’ parents or a designee the right to speak at the hearing. Chris Watts' father is expected to be in court for sentencing Monday.

Shanann’s parents could also deliver victim impact statements in which they could ask the judge for a more-lenient or stronger sentence for Watts.
Does this mean that Mrs. CW will not be present?

Just spotted they only mention his father as being expected to be there tomorrow, not Mother Watts.

It would really surprise me if she wasn't there, but it is odd that they don't mention her. MOO

I'm pretty sure that it was Denver 7 that traveled to NC and conducted interview with Cindy in her home. Since they are also the network announcing that "Chris Watts' father is expected to be in court for sentencing Monday," and no reference to Cindy, I think it's better chance than not that she won't be present. And if she is, I don't see her delivering a statement.

I think that I read only immediate family members.

That's right! She said their first thought was, what has she done now?

That's the kind of thing you say about some in-law or relation who has a dramatic past with a criminal record, history of involvement in DV cases as perp or victim, kids from various mates, constant calls to 911 due to unstable behavior, multiple divorce filings and custody battles, etc.

But these people have never been able to come up with anything concrete to indicate Shanann was the unbalanced, dangerous, abusive psychopath they keep trying to claim she was. A little innuendo and rumor here and there but none of that is based in fact.

Crazy.

They can't come up with one damn person except each other to attest to any violent, outrageous, or abusive behavior on her part that would lead to someone saying "What did she do now?"

On the contrary, this dead "maniac" has a core of very good friends who spent a ton of time with her and communicating with her, who have reported nothing but a stable and loving mother and friend, she had a busy business and no reports of anything nefarious there, fellow parents, preschool teachers, childcare providers, etc., none of whom have reported anything but wonderful things about this "witch".

Heck, I believe she's even friendly with her ex and his new spouse!

Yeah. Sounds like a real nut.

I think it's obvious who the real nuts in the situation are.

Wonder what her reaction would be if someone dared call him a Skater Momma’s Boy?

I believe if RW is designated to speak for Watts family, he'll adhere to the advice not to blame or disparage SW. I don't think Cindy could control herself --even if she had a script.

The Watts family has set the bar so low already it's hard to imagine that any one of them is capable of rising above the level they've already set.

I hope that one of our fellow Websleuthers writes a book. I think it would present a true picture of a beautiful and loving wife and mother, the woman she actually was and not the one the CW fan club created to trash her memory. She was such an inspirational woman and the world can never have too many people like that! It would be nice to have her story told and the story of those beautiful babies in a way that would do justice to them and their family and friends! As hard as it is to watch the videos, her pure joy and smile are such a wonderful gift she left in this world and Bella and CeCe absolutely warm my heart!
