Aussie times:

Brizzy: 3:00 a.m.
Sydney: 4:00 a.m.
Melbourne: 4:00 a.m.

If you want to see any of the pre-sentencing coverage you’ll need to get up 1hr 30 mins earlier than the above times. It will be broadcast on Coloradoan Facebook.

I wouldn’t miss this for anything. In fact I’d pay good money to see it.
Haaaa. A lot of people wake up early for major sporting events, but to wake up early for the sentencing of a murderer is probably pretty unusual.

We’re all obsessed, but you guys in Australia are both obsessed and dedicated.

I’d do the same thing though!

If he did “bad things” to the girls why would the Prosecution want the autopsies sealed, but the Defense didn’t care one way or the other?
This case is horrific enough as it is.

This is no ordinary sentencing. We NEED TO SEE justice done.

But we are all down here with the Kiwis by ourselves . We often have to get up in the middle of the night to watch cricket tests and Wimbledon.

Agree she seems comfortable behind the scenes (pulling the strings). I've been curious if she has a job that she fears going public would impact. MOO
It was stated that his sister is a respiratory therapist.

MRS all but confirmed that The Watts family was their source. Jay posted that the fall out was due to Kay accusing her of going to Radar for the money and separating Kay from the Watts family. Jay will no longer be a part of MRS.

I’m super shocked that this biased and unprofessional “media” production has imploded in such a childish manner. Not.

I guess when the motives are nasty and the behavior is nasty, the outcome ends up being nasty.

As victims to the crime, State of Colorado has covered their airfare and lodging expenses.

ETA: Just another example of Cindy's vileness, during the last hearing, it was said that she had a fit when she arrived and found herself booked by the State at the same hotel as the Rzucek's.
What is the matter with her? This goes beyond her being in denial.JMO

Agreed. For me it’s about justice, but also about filling in some of the blanks.

We’ve been following this case for a few months, and many of the answers that we have been seeking will all come at once.

That just doesn’t happen with any regularity.

I just hope that everything goes as planned, and we get close to the truth.

I don't know. I guess we'll see tomorrow. I just had a bad feeling about the whole case.

And that is odd in itself, that he did not want to stay in the house that his family had presumably disappeared from.
How needy is this grown man?
You would think he would have wanted to stay there in case they were found or came home. JMO

Maybe I'm cynical, but I've continuously wondered how much of the hateful comments about Shanann have been astroturfed by CW's family, and how many came to be simply because someone "got the pump started" and showed it was a-okay to even say things like that online about the victim. Acknowledging that victims are human and fallible just like the rest of us is understandable, but some of the stuff said about SW is really truly beyond the pale and absolutely baseless. MOO.

Yes!

Random strangers on the internet literally became enmeshed with this family and some of them still can’t pull themselves out.

It was hard to watch.

Aurora theater victim’s father: Christopher Watts’ sentencing not necessarily closure for victims’ family
There are few people who personally know the pain of losing a loved one in such a sudden and sinister manner, but Tom Sullivan is one of them. His son, Alex, was shot and killed in the Aurora theater shooting about six years ago.

“It's a lifelong emotional roller-coaster of trying to mend a broken heart and trying to find some way to fill the soul that is leaking out of you every day,” Sullivan told FOX31.

Sullivan is talking about this now because another family, Shanann Watts’, is fraught with that familiar heartbreak.

His criminal case is quickly closing, but for Shanann Watts’ family, that doesn’t necessarily mean closure.

“That whole part when people say, ‘I just want to get over this…’ well, my response to that is: You're not going to get over this,” Sullivan said.

Speaking of Tom Sullivan, he is an amazing man. He was such a great representative of the family members of the victims after the theater shooting incident all the way through the trial and sentencing. His words were heartbreaking.

He recently unseated the GOP incumbent in the state House race. I am not in his District but was rooting for his victory. He has really gone out of his comfort zone and risen to the occasion.

That’s a hard one. On one hand I too think she’s aware of the backlash and will try to redeem herself.

On the other hand she may see this as her one and only opportunity to say what she really thinks and will go full crazy against Shan’ann and the public defenders, and be removed from the courtroom, with or without a contempt of court charge.

She should avail herself of seeing him while she has the chance. Who knows if he'll agree to see her again once he's in prison. He may want to see his Dad but it doesn't seem to bother him one little bit that he hasn't seen her for the past 3 months.

That is what I said, isn't it?
I was just clarifying that it was a VI. I think Cindy Watts said the same thing in one of her interviews.

That would have been added to the charges if that were so.
I keep seeing that, but the moment the autposies were given to them they started begging for a plea. What would other charges have achieved then ? I am anxiously waiting to see the reports. IMO he knew hell would be unleashed on his head once the reports were public. It has to be an even more gruesome cause of death, or sexual abuse. I will happily be proved wrong though....

Maybe they will present a slide show of him growing up like Jodi Arias' mom at her sentencing.

Bwahahahaha. "And here's my son playing sport when he was 5, 7, 9, 11, 13, 15" yadda, yadda yadda.

It’s entirely possible that the plea deal and the autopsy results coinciding, is just a coincidence.

I’ve never thought that the autopsies would be particularly incriminating.

I do think they will be disturbing, in that I imagine that there were significant post mortem injuries inflicted on the girls.

I’m not expecting them to contain a bombshell like the one you are alluding to though.

I think the plea deal is based a great deal on some incriminating evidence, I just don’t think it comes in the form of those autopsy reports.
