Just a thought I had. Not a suggestion, just typing while thinking. I just believe there is some kind of evidence that points to him and only him. Or he never would have pled guilty. He isn't worrying about the evidence that comes out, he knows his family will stick with him no matter what. He knows NK believes he killed (assuming police told about text messages) them all so he doesn't have her anymore. I see no other reason for him to plead guilty unless he knows the evidence only points to him and his lawyers agree. All JMO

The evidence we will hear, only points to him killing them all.
Perhaps they have the kids time of death, possibly bruises on there bodies are by large hands , etc something indicating only CW is responsible.
Otherwise, why change his story, that SW killed the kids.

Truth be told since he did it, I hope he did drug them and they just went to sleep forever. That's a lot better than him strangling them or worse. At least that sweet baby, that sang "my daddy is my hero" wouldn't have known what a monster he truly was. JMO

No, but they could work in a medical practice with a doctor. I changed my post to "medical specialist" is that better? I think my scenario is the same no matter what they might have called it. I don't think the Watts' are educated enough to know the difference between a doctor and respiratory therapist. They might have asked a "friend" for an opinion. JMO.

I believe we established that the redacted portion of the affidavit related the the AP who had come forward. CW wasn't aware of this and denied any co-worker affair until presented with the evidence.

That was in the paragraph right above the one I'm referencing.

What I'm referring to is the second to last sentence on page 2. Several words are blacked out in that sentence, and it was right before he asked to speak to his dad and then he would tell the truth.

We've discussed this blacked sentence before, but I don't think we ever really figured out what it was. If the Denver7 article is accurate and it says police documents said he admitting to doing so (killing them) then I think it's possible he admitted it during his interrogation and then came back with his confession, which was the lie about Shanann.

It that is accurate, he was totally toasted, because that would have been used against him. IMO.

I believe it's well establishes theory by psychologists that an injured party cannot heal and move on without forgiveness. However, most people do not understand what forgiveness is. What's important to understand here is that forgiveness doesn't mean you are pardoning or excusing the other person's actions. Perhaps this inquiry if too personal to be asked of our VI on this forum, and best explored on your own. It's also against TOS to sleuth victims including NUA.

Not even what used to be called a medical specialist, more a technician. Two year course.

CCTV would have picked that up and time of tampering with the oil tanks.
The report did state, the range of time the kiddies bodies were murdered, differed to that of Shan'an.
I am wondering if this refers to bodies being placed into the tanks earlier.
Why state this?

iirc when I first started watching this I was of the understanding (and I think it had been leeked by a close relative of shanann) that he had admitted killing them all then talked to daddy and it was redacted and suddenly big bad shanann was responsible.

Interesting. I missed this information as well but I certainly remember the whole - SW must have nefariously obtained a nebulizer so she could fake their asthma debacle. I always wondered how that idea came about. It was such a bizarre accusation.

I have been told that you can buy nebulizers online without a prescription. I have always had to have a prescription. Had she obtained one without a prescription, where would she have gotten the medicine? She would have had to have a prescription for the medicine. If they really thought this is what she was doing making up ailments, why didn't they report her? Didn't they care about their grandchildren? I have already made my mind up about that last question.

Exactly. There is no evidence that we know of for any of this save some suspicions of her in-laws who visited maybe twice per year and were predisposed to judge her in the most negative light possible...having already refused to even attend their wedding. And no, we know of no reports to any child services agencies nor do we know if any psychiatric issues. As far as I am concerned, it appears to be mean girl talk. IMO

I know, it is so ridiculous. They did not have asthma? A great percentage of children in the western world have asthma and probably just as many in the non western world, but we have learned to recognise it earlier.
But the person who really hardly knew them and had no medical qualifications diagnosed that their mother was a liar and the kids did not have asthma.

Exactly, to all of the above posts. It's bizarre, ridiculous, and shows a lack of real caring about the girls if the accusation came from someone close. I always assumed it was some random internet people like the pod people making these things up... Not so sure now.

How does everyone feel about the autopsy reports being released? I’m in favour of keeping the autopsy reports sealed if the victims family was able to ask for them to remain sealed. Do they have to be released by law in these circumstances with a plea deal?

As others have already answered, they're definitely going to be released due to the laws of the state.

But I would be happy never to have them released if it helped Shanann's family. On the other hand, the constitution demands transparency. We don't want to enable secret trials in this country.

Unlike many, I suspect there won't be any massive bombshell in the reports. I think they will be sad and stark. Bruising around the necks and petechiae in the eye. Weights. Stomach contents. Lividity. The size and condition of baby Nico. Etc.

Just the desolate reminders of three vibrant lives and one to be, that became corpses on a table.

Horrific enough in black and white.

I may not read them. I might just wait for @MassGuy to sum them up.

Frankly, I'm going to be relieved when this case is over.

The timeline in that report indicates that there was no proof at that time, as to when the kids were killed.

We know the last time they were seen alive by independent witnesses. So they theoretically could have been killed at anytime after that.

They knew when Shanann was killed, down to a specific period of time spanning only a few hours.

Thats the reason for the discrepancy.
